Anna Santos is a USA Today Bestselling Author who likes to write about shifters, vampires, angels, mermaids, fae, and occasionally humans.

Anna always keeps her readers on their toes with adrenaline-fuelled adventures, genuine characters, strong female leads, and romantic plots.

When she’s not writing, she’s probably reading or spending too watching TV shows. As an introvert, home is her safe harbor. Yet, she’s known for leaving the house from time to time and having her family throw a party because they haven’t seen her for days. Then they ask her how many books she wrote while gone, assuming that writing must be super easy.

Anna guarantees that it’s not, but she never wanted to be anything else. Unless there’s a possibility of being a powerful supernatural being in an awesome world where unicorns and fairies are real. Then, she would probably go there and never come back.

Although it is a continuous sequel from the previous story (The Witch and the Vampire King), readers need not necessary read from book 2 before starting on Spellbound as the first chapter of Spellbound gave readers a recap of what had happened in book 2.

Anna gave readers a feel of what the characters are feeling, thinking and even plotting in the later chapters by allowing readers to read in the characters' point of view.

Love the twist in the plot near the end chapters where Alaric was overthrown by his 'supposedly' soulmate.

Great storyline that is full of adventurous and various characters who are fighting to reach their own or shared goals once again.

It is a cliff hanger for me as I would like to find out more about what happens next.

If you like paranormal (such as vampire, witch and soulmate theory) books then I highly recommend checking this series out!

Like this series. We have Jessica who is running from her mate, but has a bounty on her head. Alaric wants her alive. What's going to happen to Marcus? Will Alaric get what he wants? What will happen to Jessica?

This is book 3 of the Immortal Love series, you need to read where Jessica and Marcus started in The Witch and the Vampire King in order to really enjoy and understand the twists and turns in this book. The evil is worse than most, but the love Jessica and Marcus have is wirrh anything they have to do to defeat the vampire that wants Jessica for his own . Good series and can't wait for the next book !! I received a gifted copy and am voluntarily choosing to leave an honest and unbiased review. 4⭐'s. !!

I loved this story!!!! It was soo great! We get the rest of Jessie and Marcus story. This picks up right where book 2 left off. You do need to read book 2 because that is the first part of this story and gives you the information that you need to really understand and fully enjoy this book. The pace in this book is fast but very well done. The pacing was fine because I knew what was going on from book 2 and this book is action packed as we get some conclusions for what was set up in book 2. I love getting to see all of the characters again and catch up with them some. This book focuses on Jessie and Alaric for the most part. We get to see more of Alaric and get into his head some. I really got attached to Beth and can't wait for her story. I thought that this was set up so well and while the next book is set up this one ends well. It's not a cliff hanger though there are some loose ends still. This book does deal with some torture and non-consent because we get more of Alaric and what is going on with him. I thought it was well done. I did not want to put this book down once I started reading it! It was fantastic and so easy to get into since I'm already attached and addicted to the characters and story. The story is woven so well and I'm just drawn in from beginning to end. If you like paranormal books then I highly recommend checking this series out. It's absolutely worth it.

Great storyline full of adventure and various characters who are fighting to reach their goals. Loved Jessica and her relationship with Marcus. The author managed to convey their strong love for each other as well as have a fast-moving storyline that keeps you engrossed.
I do have to say that I have grown to hate Alaric. He is one creepy dude, and I think he deserves what he got.

Superb. This book actually answered questions i didn't even ask while reading it's predecessor. It cemented the prior book very nicely keeping a nicely flowing storyline and also expanding the horizon adding more adventure more thrills more action. The book is just that - more more more. I can t wait for the next installment.

Book Title: Spellbound (Immortal Love Series Book 3)
Book Author: Anna Santos
Source: K.U.
Rating: 5 stars
For 18+

Jessica had enough. She’s on the run and has a plan to take down Allaric, the one that everyone wants to get revenge on. She also wants to do it without her soulmate, whom was really stupid in book two.

There is sex, violence, and rape in this one so don’t read if you can’t handle.

Oh, there’s a guy on the cover! That’s new. I still like the cover. The covers on Amazon are so much better than the ones that Goodreads has…just a side note.

We really got inside Allaric’s head this time and got to know Beth (you won’t guess who her soulmate is). There’s a lot going on and really good lines also at times funny- of course not during the violent or rape scenes. I really want to know what Valentina’s mate has in store for her and want to know who is Anna’s brother’s mate is…. hoping book 4 will reveal all that and I hope that everything will be good for Beth. Fingers crossed.

I recommend this novel for those who like reading about soulmates, romance, potions, and spells gone wrong.

This one again has great world building in it.
Wonderful characters that are interesting to read about.
Well written plot and story line.
Really enjoyed reading.

Spellbound by Anna Santos is the stand alone third book in the Immortal Love Series. In this book, Jessica a witch who is mated to the French Vampire King Marcus has run away and abducted the American Vampire Queen Valentina to find out why she tried to hurt Jessica. Jessica finds out through interrogating Valentina all the twisted plans she has for her mate, the American Vampire King and Jessica’s crazy son Alaric. This books is a compelling read with lots of different characters involved in enacting mysterious plots that are at cross purposes with one another. I loved how Jessica is desperate to do whatever she can to keep those she loves safe. The suspense of the story kept me turning page after page until the very end. This is a wonderful book that any paranormal romance reader will love. Note that this book is part of a phenomenal series and are wonderful read individually but are fantastic when read in the correct order. Spellbound is a compelling, suspense filled tale about love and revenge.

Another thrilling installment in the Immortal Love Series, Alaric is on the verge of being caught, Jessie finally realizes that Marcus loves her as herself and not just because she is Isobel reincarnated, but the one person that they all thought little of other than to spare her life is the one that throws the biggest spanner in the works, Marie even though heavily pregnant finally shows how truly strong and cunning she is.

With a surprise twist, Beth, abused by Alaric, wanted dead by her sister, finds her mate with the person that reminds her so much of her tormentor, after waiting for his mate for so long will he convince her that not all men are evil or will she be lost to him because of Alaric, i can hardly wait for the next book to find out what happens next.

This is the third book of the series and it helps a lot to have read the first two releases to be on top of all that has happened. The plot is fast paced and an action packed thriller with lots of twists to the story. In this book, the heroine Jessica has her own agenda for taking down the evil and psychotic Alaric, all while keeping her soul mate Marcus safe and out of the loop. But things do not go the way they should and Jessica will need the help of her family and friends and allies just to survive because crazy Alaric has dastardly plans of his own. A well written story although it did end on a cliffhanger.

This was an exciting book that I highly recommend. The characters are well defined and the good ones are likable. The story line is fast-paced and exciting. The twists and turns keep up the suspense and the reader will love the surprises along the way!

This particular story was a little darker than the first two, but the story is nevertheless captivating. The reader will love Jessica and Marcus because the author’s writing let you feel their emotions and get closer to them. In the same way, the reader feels an intense dislike for Allaric, wanting him to get what he deserves! This book will not disappoint you!

Spellbound by Anna Santos ***** This is the best of the series so far - a really good read!
This story is fast paced, flows well, and has lots of action & a few surprises. The characters from earlier books in this series are all present (I think prior knowledge is necessary to get the most from this story). This story concludes on a big surprise that I really didn't see coming -- I can't wait to read the next book in this series! Disclosure: I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

Another great book in this series. Book 3 jumps right into where book 2 left off. Anna Santos provides another great action packed story. This story was a little darker and not for the easily sensitive. But the story is still great. I fell more in love with Jessica and Marcus. The author made me feel what they felt. Especially my hatred for Allaric. Fans of this series will not be disappointed! If you haven't read the first 2 books, I highly recommend you do. The story will make more sense and be way more enjoyable. Can't wait to read more stories from this author. I am a definite fan!

Jess has assembled a team. Well okay so maybe not exactly as planned but she is determined to capture Alaric. In the process she also has to deal with some complications in making him die for what he's done. Plans, magic and people who are dedicated and vested in making it happen. There is plenty of action and betrayal going on and not only in Alaric's favor. This author gives us a great read with plenty of twist and characters with strength, mad skills and power and not afraid to use it. Great story, characters, plot and more to come.

Spelbound is the 3rd Book in the series and leaves off where Book 2 ended so you must read book 2 first. Anna Santos has created an action packed turn twisting storyline in this series. Jessica is the perfect heroine - strong and independent yet timid and insecure in certain matters. This makes her extremely relatable which I adore in a lead. I am anxiously anticipating Book 4 to see where else this story goes.

Exciting journey! Jessica goes on the run to protect her mate and family from the crazed Alaric. Her journey puts her and Marcus in misery. Aside from the angst shadowing this story, it moves fast and keeps you on your toes. Will Alaric get what he wants? Will the mates be reunited? Will someone else find their mate? Fun read

Enjoying how this series continues the journey for Jessica. She has been a great heroine throughout the story. I love how she is always thinking of a way to stay one step ahead of her foes. She will stop Alaric and the bounty on her head, or will she? Can't wait to see what the next book brings.

This is a great series! A well written action packed read that once you start you will not be able to put it down and this latest addition is every bit as good as the rest! A great adventurous storyline that will have you on the edge of your seat and fab characters but be warned this is darker then the rest with violence and some disturbing scenes.

This is the continuation of the 2nd book of the immortal series with the story of Jessica and Marcus.
.
Again there was nothing special about the book, nothing bad , nothing good.
.
I read the book to continue the story and for the sake of it. Lately I am in mood for paranormal fantasy and I will say I'm thoroughly enjoying the series so far.

Another amazing book by the author. Jessica is on the hunt this time instead of being the hunted and she has the perfect set up in store, but will it work? What cost will it take on her with her mate? Must read to find out. Once again the characters are amazing and well rounded out.
