Chirpy Blue: Illustrated children'd book about the native Australian bird The Splendid Fairy-wren

Rate this book
Chirpy Blue is an illustrated children’s book about the native Australian bird, the Splendid Fairy-wren, predominantly found in Western Australia. Chirpy Blue tells the story of two birds - a male and a female, finding one another, and having a family. The two birds watch as their offspring grow and leave the nest. They experience sadness at this part of the offspring’s lifecycle, but they rejoice in starting another family, with more eggs, promising more baby birds, where the cycle will begin again. The book is breathtakingly illustrated, and would do extremely well in the tourist market, as well as in the domestic market.
