Ask each group to write a story about all the members of the other group using positive traits. other good ones:body beautiful, bold billboard, same letter, different name Kings throne, to you but from who, me on tv,trait tracing, flower petals, ten seconds,story story, mystery object, whats different, secret word,action emotions,cd cover, guess the feeling, be a bike.the big wind blows, (the only one I have heard of before),family sculptures,good bad and ugly, family fun times. All of threse have potential to stimulate and elicit important conversations. For second graders- ducks fly
The activities themselves are fun. However, you have to keep in mind that the students who need the most intervention are the ones who require the most management. These activities are best done in small groups with two or more adults facilitating.
Not the best writing/presentation, but this is a great collection of fun activities that can be adapted for all manner of groups. I will definitely be returning to this book for ideas often.
I enjoyed this books mostly, but it did have some interventions or events that were not neurodiverse affirmative for clients, so I won’t use those games and activities.
