This one was a little weaker than the previous ones in the series but it was still a good read and nice continuation of the series.

I’m sorry.
I’m sorry that I don’t have very much to say that would encourage you to read Ms. Peers iteration of the Morningstar Strain. Yes, our favorite characters are back.
That’s where the good ends.
The writing is All-Over-The-Place. Major events are completely skipped or glossed over. One aspect I couldn’t overcome was how the characters minimized the gravity of occurrences. One example was that the perpetrators of certain zombiecentric actions (don’t want to put any spoilers) that caused injury and death, were allowed to walk free so that the Plot could reach its Point.
Mr. Recht’s world is full of riches…this was a pauper’s version. So much more could have been delivered.
Therefore, until book Six, Heroes!!!
I can’t wait! (Please don’t think a two star review is going to stop me! And yes, I KNOW that I will have to wait, it’s a figure of speech people).
Thank you, David

This book in the series is awful. So boring, and terrible. It took me a long time to get through because I'd put it down and forget about it for weeks at a time. Finally last night I decided to chug through it so I could get to book six, but it was so painful that I skimmed the rest of the book. I'm sorry. I wanted to love this book. The first three in the series are amazing, and four was pretty good, too. Crossing my fingers for number six.

Terrible, just terrible.

This series started out amazing, and now it's just a bunch of muddled politics. We don't even get any zombies until page 100. I only bought this and read it because I'm determined to see this series through to the end.

I don't recommend it.
