Jennifer Vaughn’s Echo Valley: A power hungry politician, his burning secret, and the unyielding young mother caught in the middle… the title says it all, or does it? The politician is aiming for the top, president of the United States of America, and he is on the campaign trail, complete with his beautiful wife, his two perfect children, and an entourage of staff determined that he will succeed despite his vast appetite for sex. Bo, struggling single mother of Bailey, and hairdresser, gets her “big break” when she’s allotted the great man himself to prepare for a photoshoot. What did Bo see that she shouldn’t have? How determined are the wannabee president’s men to silence her, and how? Two cops who have known Bo since she was a child combine to help her but can she really trust the younger one, or commit to the attraction developing between them?
Echo Valley by Jennifer Vaughn is a brilliant, character-driven, psychological thriller. The birth of Bo’s son, Bailey, caused her to give up her studies to be a doctor. He is the most precious thing in her life and their relationship is shown vividly, and the bright, adorable, four-year-old is the one in danger, of being taken away from his “unfit mother”. That, the politician’s chief aide decides, is the easy way to sort the problem. Shut Bo’s mouth? No, he wants to destroy her; she’s interfering with his dream! Echo Valley is must-read, can’t-put-down thriller, laced with romance, and the greatest love of all: a mother’s love for her child.

Kind of a long title.
A presidential candidate comes to town with his family. A hairdresser ends up seeing something he'd prefer she hadn't. And she finds herself the victim of his plot to ensure she doesn't tell. Though she's good friends with the former chief, she doesn't want to endanger him with the information.

Very good novel..and very novel book..

I LOVED this book! I think it’s my favorite from Jennifer! I didn’t want to put it down and I loved the story line and all the characters! EXCELLENT BOOK!! 😍
