I think I was in 3rd or 4th grade when I had to read this book as it was on the compulsory reading list. Over the years I've remembered the cover and the premise of a boy receiving a crystal of some sorts somehow, but not much of anything else. Therefore I decided to reread this book.

Well, let's just say that the reader I am today, does not think that this book is the best book ever BUT I do admit that younger readers might think otherwise. It's easily written, it has a simple message of sorts to the young readers in the end, and most of all, it is quite interesting to read even when you're no longer 10 years old.

Tjis book was incredible! One of the best ones writeen by Pete Johnson. It's about a boy which got a diamond (from a will of a old lady.) It only took me one day to read it as it was soooooooo facinating. It is worth reading, believe me.
