El libro de arte de Pokémon es un "must" si te gustan los mangas o los videojuegos (o ambos) de esta franquicia. También creo que es una herramienta de estudio si te gusta ilustrar ya que hay ciertas páginas donde se ve un tanto del proceso creativo de las ilustraciones tal como las composiciones a lápiz, las elecciones de color, la tinta sola y luego las composiciones finales.
Como fan de la franquicia puedo decir que este libro me ha sacado más de una sonrisa y buenos recuerdos y me ha hecho querer leer los demás mangas del mundo de Pokémon.

Pokémon fue el primer manga que llegué a leer, y no podía no ser mi primer libro de arte o ‘artbook’.
Las ilustraciones que este libro contienen son re lindas, partimos con la Segunda Generación de la mano de Cristal (no se asusten, esto se debe a que sólo contiene ilustraciones de la mano de Satoshi Yamamoto; Rojo, Verde y Azul, Amarillo y parte de Oro y Plata fueron realizadas por Mato, mangaka que tuvo que retirarse).
En el Artbook podemos encontrar desde el arte original de las portadas del manga, hasta los primeros bocetos, incluso tenemos el primer capítulo de la serie de Ranger Y UN PÓSTER ENORMEEEE.
En mi opinión… 10/10.

Incredible illustrations, cannot be be understated how brilliant the artwork is. If there were more sketches and concept pieces it’d be even better. The added Pokémon story at the back is an odd inclusion but enjoyable

I got this book for Christmas and loved it. I have been a Pokemon fan since LeafGreen and read a handful of the manga as a kid so I was really excited to own this art book.
The art is awesome - and the inclusion of the full size art posters was a nice surprise for me! I wish there was a bit more Kanto art, but the inclusion of Pokemon Ranger art and the bonus story more than made up for it. An essential edition for a Pokemon Collector!
