We're both enjoying the Micekings series with its comedic take on the Vikings as demonstrated through the Micekings and the various dragon clans. Miss 5 likes the icons marking each chapter and memorizing what the different colours mean for indicating dragon clans. The colourful pictures and font icongraphy (plus extra line spacing) make this great for reading to children interested in chapter books. It would be nice to see the female mice fighting with bows, longspears, and swords rather than throwing sharpened sea shells at targets but we did enjoy them saving the village from the dragons.

Miss 5 and I like to explore different books and authors at the library, sometimes around particular topics or themes. We try to get different ones out every week or so; it's fun for both of us to have the variety and to look at a mix of new & favourite authors.

This book has a wonderful way of introducing chapter books to children. There are words on each page that has a different font, and color to attract the reader into what is happening. The book is about how Geronimo is a judge in a challenge, and a lot happens to him throughout the book. This would be a fun book in the classroom for students that are unsure about reading chapter books, because it is so engaging with pictures, and words.

Di questo libro ricordo ben poco, ricordo solo che mi è piaciuto molto. Così tanto che l'ho finito in 2 giorni, non riuscivo a togliermelo da sotto gli occhi
