Counting Blessings :
" At first, there were none ! though they came along one by one ".
With these beautiful and deep sentences children writer Amal Alaboud start her story, and what better rather than this to start. It's a great start.
This child's story goes beyond counting blessings, it goes to be grateful and thankful to everything that child could have in his early learning.
In this great story which I loved so much, there is a lot going deeply beyond, there is learning, praying, and being thankful.
Plus the good choice of very innocent illustrations that the illustrator Rosemarie Gillen has been drawn to explain the beauty of this story.
In this story, we found a tone of learning, and I've noticed that the children writer Amal Alaboud has been writing in a way of the rhythmic poem which I adore. She has been very considerable of mentioning the good manners that we trying to transmit a good behaving to the children.
And she finished :
" For these, I Thank you, God ! I must say
Also for the ones that are coming my way "
It is so tender to finish the story with a rhythmic poem.
I highly recommend this story.
