A Holiday Barrington Billionaire Novella by NYTs and USA Today Bestselling Author Ruth Cardello: A Billionaire for Lexi PLUS two bonus synchronized novellas: Just in Thyme by Jeannette Winters and Midnight on the Slopes by Danielle Stewart
What is a synchronized novella? Love seeing your favorite characters show up in other stories? One world. Three authors. Character cross-over. Binge reading at its best. Each novella can be enjoyed individually but reading them together weaves an exciting and unique experience.
Clay Landon has never taken himself or his life of privilege seriously. He has spent his life going where he wanted, when he wanted, and keeping his relationships as casual and open as his lifestyle. It’s a pretty damn good life until he meets Lexi Chambers, an equally free spirit who is completely unimpressed by him or his wealth.
Having her becomes his obsession.
Lexi Chambers knows how to get into trouble and does so with a skill acquired by doing it a shit–Let’s just say a lot. Her sister, Willa, recently married into the wealthy Barrington family and Lexi is trying to stay on her best behavior.
One too-sexy-for-his-own-good, Clay, will test her resolve.
He’ll make her laugh and push her to, once again, believe in possibilities.
Just in Thyme by Jeannette Winters
World-renowned chef, Vincent Moretti, could have anyone, anything, anytime. Social events had a single agenda—build his business, which was why he couldn’t refuse the last-minute invite to the New Year’s charity event. When he learned his investors wouldn’t be there, he was angry he’d wasted his valuable time.
Adventurous and loyal Renita Gallo had chosen to stay in Stowe, Vermont for one reason—her father. She wanted to be a teacher. He wanted her to follow in his footsteps and become a chef. When her father became ill and couldn’t cater the very important Barrington event at the Vermont resort, she was forced into a role she wasn’t prepared for, and into the presence of the most arrogant man she’d ever met.
Renita was confounding, a woman who challenged Vincent, a woman so enchanting he couldn’t resist. Wouldn’t resist. She was also determined to ignore the allure of the devastatingly handsome Chef Moretti.
Vincent ignited such passion within her that shook her steadfast sense of responsibility.
Thrown together during a snow storm, more than food will be cooking in the kitchen.
Midnight on the Slopes by Danielle Stewart
Nolan Saint-Jane is a big enough person to pretend he’s happy his sister Libby has married a billionaire oilman. She deserves the best but the sudden change has taken the last piece of family from him. Having spent Christmas alone, brooding Nolan is determined that New Year’s Eve will be different.
Holly McNamara travels light. She can’t be held down by anything when it’s time to run again. New Year’s Eve is the perfect time to make a break for it and a chance meeting with a stranger in a coffee shop gives her the opportunity she needs.
When the snow starts to fall, the passion erupts and the truth comes out, Nolan and Holly will have to decide if the new year holds hope for the new life they both need.
If you enjoyed reading these intertwined novellas, you’ll love our synchronized billionaire series. All the same fun, but with stand alone romances set in the same world with character cross over and plots that will have you laughing out loud, fanning your face, and staying up to see what happens next.
Ruth Cardello hit the NYTs and USA Today for the first time back in 2012. Millions of sales are evidence that her books are akin to potato chips, addictive from the first one. She has created a multi-series billionaire world with a combination of escapism and realism that has gained her a faithful following of readers.
What Kindle Reviewers write about her:
"Wow hot at every page. Heart stoping, fear raging, mind blowing wonderful."
"I'm a true fan of Ms. Cardello. I ran on to her first book a few years back and have been hooked ever since. I could go on and on about the story like of this book, but I'm not. All of her books are total page turners, unique, heart wrenching, and I love them all. There isn't two alike in the bunch and I feel like i know the characters personally. I personally read 97 authors books. And I buy every book they put out. This author is in my top 10. Great job and keep them coming."
"Love this series. Got me to start reading again. I look forward to the next book. Thank you for giving me the love of reading back."
Ruth Cardello was born the youngest of 11 children in a small city in northern Rhode Island. She spent her young adult years moving as far away as she could from her large extended family. She lived in Boston, Paris, Orlando, New York--then came full circle and moved back to New England. She now happily lives one town over from the one she was born in. For her, family trumped the warmer weather and international scene.
She was an educator for 20 years, the last 11 as a kindergarten teacher. When her school district began cutting jobs, Ruth turned a serious eye toward her second love- writing and has never been happier. When she's not writing, you can find her chasing her children around her small farm or connecting with her readers online.

Love the writing of Ms Cardello, and the first of the three books in this Christmas Holiday Novella compilation is a wonderful example of the warmth her stories exudes. Lexi is one of those characters that you meet in the earlier books and grow fond off, like a friend you become reacquainted with, after a short absence. As far as Clay Landon, he has appeared a good friend and a motivator in previous books. Perhaps, these two characters can make it work together.
BONUS 1 : Just in Thyme : Unless you are a person that abhors cooking, you may not be able to relate to Renita, daughter of a chef, but she is not a person who enjoys the kitchen. However, she will anything to help her father, including placing herself in the kitchen. Thankfully, a person who does enjoy good food, recognize Renita's problem and takes pity on her. A touch of romance also swells around the kitchen at this time. An entertaining story.
Bonus 2: Midnight on the slopes When a young woman offers to help a young man out by traveling and attending a Gala night, in the place of his snowbound sister and brother-in-law, it does seem strange. However, the two people concerned seem to have chemistry, but has there been a nefarious motive in the timely offer? Yes, another good read.
I received an Advanced Readers Copy of this book via Bookfunnel and am voluntarily leaving a review. A Billionaire for Lexi: Lexi is an independent spirit. She takes no prisoners. However inside she is loving and devoted to her best friend and twin sister. Clay is an attractive successful obscenely wealthy man who has coasted through life until he meets Lexi. Lexi is skittish around Clay and Clay realizes he has to hold himself back in order to gain Lexi's trust. It is funny the dance they dance around each other. Just in Thyme: Renita is adventurous and loyal. Her father was a chef and wanted her to follow in his footsteps. However, Renita's dream was to be an elementary school teacher. At a holiday function she fills in for her father who is ill. She meet Vincent, a renown chef. As they worked together in the kitchen they got to know each other and things blossomed. Midnight on the Slopes: Nolan had spent Christmas alone and was expecting his only sister and her husband to visit for New Years. Due to weather they could not make it. Also she asked Nolan to go to Vermont to a charity gig and represent her and her husband in their donation. But she said he needed a date. Along comes Holly a perfect stranger who volunteers as his plus one. What a weird situation. Things only got weirder when they got to the function. Holly's past caught up to her and she had to face Nolan about it. A sweet and weird romance. These three novellas were centered around a New Years Eve Charity event in Vermont. They were diverse and interesting and different from one another. All three were a very good read.
I love all three books. But I think I love Jeannette Winter books the best. Here it a highlight for her book.💜📚
“I can do that, but let me help you with some of those answers. You’re not selfish. You’re kind and thoughtful and funny and generous and strong-minded and so much more. And lastly, what you’ve got young lady is my heart. I love you, Renita. And I’ll take you on any terms you want.” Only three words echoed in her mind. He loves me. “I love you too, Vincent. And I don’t care if we live on the moon, as long as we’re together.” He pulled her toward him and kissed her. She was filled with so much emotion it was almost difficult to hold back the tears. She found herself muttering I love you again and again to him as though the floodgates to her heart had opened for the very first time. “Then it’s settled. New York with me?” She smiled. “With you.” He pulled out a heart shaped silver necklace from his pocket and held it out to her. “My heart is now yours.” When she took it from him, she noticed it was engraved on the back. Just in thyme. Love, Vincent. A single tear of joy rolled down her cheek. She knew she’d been blessed with a man who could show her his feelings and also said the words. He accepted her as she was, a horrible cook and still searching for her career. But what she knew was where her heart was leading her, and that was to Vincent. “I love you.” “I love you too,” Vincent replied. As he kissed her again, she knew this was the beginning of another chapter in her life. But this story was far from over, and one that would continue to grow over the years. Yes, Vincent, you arrived just in thyme. THE END
It was a delightful bundle to read. 1st book was A Billionaire For Lexi. Again it features the Barrington family but both characters were an extension of the family. Both has what the other needs. It's funny and witty with dramatic angst filled moments. The next book was a new author for me but it also in the Barrington family saga. Just in Thyme is by Jeanette Winters and featured Vincent Moretti and Renita Gallo. They butt heads from the beginning and they fall in love. But the journey to that conclusion is funny and heartfelt at times. Definitely could be a Rom-Com movie. The 3rd book Midnight on the Slopes still in the Barrington saga and featured Nolan Saint Jane and Holly McNamara. Nobody is perfect in this book and it's very angst filled. Nolan sounds whiny in the beginning but steps up in the end. Family is family but you gotta love them.
Barrington Billionaires book 3.5, Clay Landon is wealthy, a typical obnoxious playboy, and has one friend he can depend on. Lexi Chambers is struggling financially and she is attracted to her brother-in-law’s best friend. Can she continue to fight her attraction to Clay or will she allow him to “love her and leave her”? Can Clay find a purpose in life and can he treat Lexi the way his friend Dax demands he treat her? Typical fairytale romance but enjoyable, mindless read. I got this book on Kindle as part of set of Ruth Cardello books.
Love The Barrington Billionaires series and this is a great addition to that series. Three holiday novellas that are quick to read, have some quirky characters that are easy to fall in love with, and all three novellas are heartwarming, romantic, sexy and fun little reads. If you are a lover of romance and don't want to read something with a lot of drama surrounding the characters then this box set will be great for you.
I enjoyed all 3 stories. I'm glad that Clay found someone who completed him and a purpose in life. The story of the chefs daughter who can't cook and ends up with a chef was a fun and amusing story especially when he went up the ski slope. Finally a con artist who turns over a new year leaf was a nice addition to the other stories.
I have to comment that I have read quite a few of Ruth Cardello's books and it was delightful to see that the talent is shared in the family. I enjoyed all three stories and I will be reading more from Jeannette and Danielle. But I do want to insert this footnote. This book was also available as an audio book. Please stick to the book as the narrator when she speaks as Lexi was a complete turnoff. I did not get a chance to review the audio....so please enjoy the book.
I love this three book, would like to know if there is more to the stories. Great Job ladies but I wish there was more, I feel there are still more to tell. But an awesome read and great short Stories. But I love Ruth her stories and thank you for introducing me to two new authors.
WOW. Amazing read, stories pulling you in, characters that you fall in love with, each page is full of emotions . Ruth Cardello writes amazing books which never fails to bring you a beautiful love story
I love Ruth Cardello's stories and have just read my first each for Jeannette and Danielle. Not being familiar with their stories made these not quite as enjoyable as following up with well-known characters. It was good to see Lexi and Clay get their HEA.
Loved Lexi and the fairy godfathers story they are soon good together. Two more stories and you will enjoy each one. Wish the last one I could have found out how his sister and brotberinlaw reacted. Oh well.
I read this in the box set so only have Lexi’s story. Lexie and Clay suit each other but I don’t really care about them. Will see how it plays out for them going forward. I did enjoy them meeting Kenny and hopefully they will run a foundation to help support veterans. Read in the box set.
I usually don't like short stories because the plot is seldom developed enough for my taste, but these three short stories are wonderful and very enjoyable!
I was disappointed that Lexie's story was so rushed. Those two should have had a longer book period. It could have been a real hilarious. But I'm glad you matched those two.
A fun quick steamy read that will captivate you and have you rooting for this couple!! Two emotionally broken people find themselves healing when they are together!! Grab this book and enjoy!!
Ruth Cardello - A Billionaire for Lexi: Holiday Novella (The Barrington Billionaires, Book 3.5)
If you love romance novels, you'll love this one too. And if you've read the Barrington Billionaires series, this book is a must read. Reading this book in November felt like Christmas came early. I love the feel of the holidays that this book gave. Though it's set on New Year, it also felt like Valentine's is just around the corner with all three stories of love and romance in this box set. These three stories will make you swoon, love and relive your dreams along with your holiday experience. It's a delightful read to get a feel of the holiday season that is fast approaching.

While we have seen Lexi Chambers in previous books. Her twin sister, Willa Chambers is married to Lance Barrington (Trade It All – Book 3 of the Barrington Billionaires). While Willa was more reserved and quiet, Lexi is just the opposite. Lexi was a free spirit and always ready for an adventure.

I've got say it's one of the best books that I've received and with the added bonus of two other novellas in this book who are apart also apart of the Barrington World. The bonus Novellas by her sister Jeannette Winters and niece Danielle Stewart. These are a perfect addition to the Barrington World.

These are three of my favourite authors and just to choose one out of them all is hard. They are a close family and i'm sure that they laugh and cry along the way of writing these stories.
I have to give these books 5*s as there is no more to offer but I would definitely recommend these authors to anyone. The Barrington World is one that keeps you on your toes. They are very family oriented.
Clay Landon, best friend of Dax Marshall (STOLEN KISSES) and a billionaire playboy who never took himself or the life he was given seriously. Clay had been in a kind of funky mood for a while now but all that changed when Lexi Chambers waltzed into his life.
Lexi Chambers, twin sister of Willa Chambers (TRADE IT ALL), a free spirited, rebellious woman who had a knack for getting into trouble. But she was trying to stay out of trouble that was until the sexy Adonis, Clay Landon walked into her life.
Clay was attracted to Lexi and vice versa but the woman didn't want to give in into her desires. She wasn't impressed with his money nor his fame but he had the potential to make her lose her heart.
Lexi was feeling like a failure inside yet she put on a happy face for her loved ones, the only one she didn't wear a mask with was Clay. They were both feeling down and together they brought each other out of the dakness.
Loved how protective of Lexi the Barringtons and Dax were. The Barringtons claimed Clay as their own as well, the Barrington/Marshall clan just wanted Clay and Lexi to find the happiness they deserved.
Just In Thyme

He was ready to give the chef a piece of his mind that was until he walked into the kitchen and saw who the chef was.
Renita Gallo always wanted to be a teacher but her father wanted her to follow in his footsteps and become a chef. She stayed in Stowe, Vermont out of loyalty to her father. When he became ill and couldn't make it to cater the Barrington's event. Renita had to step in even though she wasn't prepared.

Midnight On The Slopes
Nolan Saint-Jane was in a brooding mood, his sister Libby who was his last piece of family got married and he found himself spending Christmas alone. But he planned to ring in the New Year differently starting with New Year's.
