I was engrossed with this book as the author craftily weaving her tale to the point where nothing else seems matter but to know what happens next as the story unfolds.

This story is compelling that it had me on the edge of my seat.

Page turner to the extent that this 241-page novel (epub) is too short for a promising tale as this. No worries, the number of pages still do justice to me. It just that I can't believe I have finished reading this in one sitting.

Die hard fantasy readers who are open-minded will find this book to be a thrilling read; if you are not open-minded and unable to appreciate fantasy fiction genre, then you will find this to be offensive to you.

I would like to thank the author, Sarah A. Kenney for the free copy of this e-book in exchange for honest review. I look forward to read more works from this author as I would like to venture with Lucy in the earth realm.

This books started off a bit confusing for me and a tad boring. I would've loved more explanation as to how mortals were in Hell. We're they born or created? I thought that souls in Hell were of people that were horrible in life, so how could a baby or child be in Hell? Also, how many "families" were there down there? Was it just a couple or is it like a whole other world? Are they are able to reproduce like mortals?

Lucy, who is Lucifer's daughter, wants nothing more than to live a couple years in the mortal world. She herself is a mortal until she reaches her 18th birthday and goes through a change to become immortal. Are all the children under 18 mortal, and if so wouldn't she sort of already be living in a mortal world, even if only partially? Also, where is Lucy's mom? I don't understand the desire to be a mortal either. Did all the children get a chance to like in the mortal realm before the change. Just so many questions that made it hard for me to really get into it.
