Bear Mountain #3

Ein Omega für zwei Bären

Rate this book

I was really hoping that this one would be better since this is supposed to have lot of hurt/comfort. Unfortuntely most of the hurt happens before this book starts and there wasn't a lot of comfort. Only magical healing through dick. Two dicks to be exact.

The one thing that really surprises me in this series is the fact that the bears are not in a relationship with each other. They are only waiting for their mate. So while this is a MMM romance, not all the people involved are in love with each other. It kind of feels like that these bears just have a human or omega sex toy in their bed.

I think I'm going to stop here if the rest of the books are more of the same.

I loved this one. It's my favorite in the series, by far. I loved the relationship between the three guys in this, and the whole story overall just felt more serious, more emotional, just more...everything amped up, as compared to the previous stories (not to say I didn't like the other stories, just that this one I like best!)

My heart broke for Asher and what he went through at the very beginning of this story, but Airan and Graham were the perfect men for him. I also love the group of characters in this story…I hope that Ben will get a HEA eventually. I'm always left wanting more when I finish each story in this series, but this one most of all, I really, really wanted more with these three.

Kelex, thank you for bringing such a wonderful story to us, especially one that means so much to you personally. I can't wait for more in this series (and your dragon series, I hope another one of those is coming out soon!)

This one had oddly more story than intimate scenes, and somehow came off feeling like it had less of a storyline worth following throughout. Still a decent addition to the Bear Mountain series, but not as fun as the previous two.

I’m here to tell you that the third book in the Bear Mountain series is just as good as the first two! I read it straight through in one quick sitting, eagerly flipping the pages. Kelex continues to delight me with this continuing saga of the Bears and their human mates on Bear Mountain.

Asher McCreary is from that terrible McCreary family that we heard so much about in the previous two books. A family who thinks themselves outside the law, sticking to themselves and having no social skills, even when community interaction is necessary. Truthfully, while reading these books, I’ve pictured a family of backwoods rednecks (not that there is anything wrong with rednecks…but you know who I mean…those families that could star in a remake of Deliverance!)

Asher has been kept in chains his entire life because he is an Omega and his fathers think he is an embarrassment to the family. Treated as a slave, he has been raised thinking he is lower than the rest of the family and his duty is to serve them.

When his two fathers decide they want to make some quick cash, they sell his virginity to two bears as a sex slave. The bears come to the house and rape him against his will and leave. (That scene is off screen with very few details, so shouldn’t be a trigger). When he ends up pregnant, all hell breaks loose. There is where the story ties to the events in book two. Asher is found beaten and almost dead while the Sheriff, Graham, is looking for the killers of the two bears from book two.

What will happen though when Graham and his Doctor husband, Airan, realize that Asher is their mate? Bears don’t mate with bears! It is against Bear Law! Of course we also have more from that a-hole Traylon who we despised in the previous books and his bluster is still in full force, but I think you will enjoy the final solution to that problem!

I recommend this book, but recommend you pick up and read the first two books in the series first so that you know who everyone is. I thoroughly enjoyed all three. They aren’t as heavy on sex as some of Kelex’s work, which is a good thing in my opinion. I like a book with a good storyline, and this series definitely provides that.

As a final note, please make sure you read the end note comments from the author. The author shares a very personal moment from their own life which is important for you to read.

Thanks Santa's Kinky Mistress

I had things to say about this one, but after finishing I read the authors note and have changed what I wanted to say. As a person who has never been raped I don't know how people would or should react, so if the person was happy to move on straight away, ok then and I do understand about choosing their next partner.

I did skip the second book and I am wondering if I missed part as in this one, there are things that happen that seem to be brushed over very quickly and I wonder if it was mentioned in the previous one,

I liked Asher and his drive to move forward and have a place in the relationship. The other two bears were also well done. both were protective and had Ashers best interest at heart

To be honest I think I am going to give this series a miss for a bit, while there are blurbs going forward that really interest me, I'm struggling with the fact that the two dominant bears in each of the relationships don't touch each other. I understand it in MFM books where the guys are not bisexual, but in these ones the guys are gay and I just can't wrap my head around the fact that they only touch the human/omega.

This series is clearly my guilty pleasure. It's really the same premise from book to book, with a twist here and there to differentiate the new book from its predecessor. The twist in this one is that the two bears' mate is an omega bear instead of a human, something which is forbidden by bear law. Asher (omega) has also been abused by his bear fathers and former 'owners'.

I liked the threesome here, even though I just realized that the two beta or alpha bears don't ever interact sexually with each other. Boooo. I guess the whole bear brother thing never really clicked till now. It's basically like MFM, but with a guy in the middle.

Also, since this is a novella, don't expect any long healing phase or months of therapy for Asher. He recovers quickly from his sexual abuse and wants his two mates to 'make new memories to erase the old' If this bothers you, this is not the book for you.

Lastly, how is it that Brynn and Tomas Weird. On to Book 4!

This one...wow it really hits your emotions.

Asher is an amazing strong bear and his mates are perfect for him. While I love all three, Asher holds a special place for me. The struggle to come back from all he had been through and on top of that trust again is hard. I think the author did a great job showing that. I think the mate bond was a great way to explain the faster pace of it. A lot of questions and issues were resolved here while still getting new ones. I'm hoping we get the Ben questions answered and find out what happens with the Eric situation. Either way, the Bear Mountain community is getting stronger and will continue to learn and grow.

More plot, less smut in this book. Asher is a McLeary bear, but also an omega and has been treated like a slave all his life. The Sheriff and the Doctor are more than a little surprised to find he is their mate as bear does not lie with bear, or does he? Asher was sweet, Graham and Airan were kind. I enjoyed this one

Tragic and magical .

From a tragic story of slavery and rape came hope and love in equal parts. Too many people are raped every day . They all handle it in there own way . My way was numbness .

Eh bien, eh bien.

I really like how Kelex keeps the story going. The first book is still my favorite but I believe UT to be because it began MY Bear Mountain journey!

This is about Asher who's an omega. He suffers from years of abuse by his family, and then he’s left badly beaten and broken by 2 shifters. As he lies in his hospital bed, he meets Graham and Airan, the Bear Mountain sheriff and doctor. They are horrified by what he has had to endure and promise there and then to protect him.

This is the third instalment of Bear Mountain series and, personally, to me it was the best one. I was pulled into this story right from the beginning and it felt completely different from the 1st two books. Right from the first chapter my heart felt like it had been pulled from my chest reading what had happened to Asher. It was a powerful story. I loved how Graham and Airan gave Asher so much loving and showed him that he was their world and would do everything for him never to hurt again. Together they were passionate, loving, caring and freaking HOT!! I did not want this book to finish! The note at the end of the story from the author, from what they personally endured, just shows what a great author Kelex is!

So buy this book (and all the others) and see for yourself why I recommend and why I gave it the 5 stars that it deserved!!

Now my hands are itching for the next book in the series to come out - If I shout LOUD enough maybe I will get heard lol

Oh My God! Where do I begin? I was SO angry and scared and ticked off for Asher. The way he was treated by his so called family just...grrr! How the writer had him deal with all that occurred may not have been the norm but it was what it was and whatever a person has to do to keep themselves sane is the way to go. Asher finding out he is the mate to the sheriff and a doctor, both hot, loving and amazing men, kept me glued til the end. As did the two previous books. Kelex does such a fantastic job! I am so looking forward to the next two books to see how those Kelex has incorporated into the first 3, find their true mates and in one case second set of true mates and happiness. So excited and I highly recommend this book. If you haven't read Bound to two Bears and Claimed by two Bears, please do so. Read them in order so you can see the stories unfold and meet those that come next.

I loved this story. Asher, he had to endure the most cruelest, heartbreaking, violent life from his own family, then to be violated, left for dead. Asher finally found freedom, love, security and two men who loved him for him, and he deserved to get his life back. Whether you agree or not, a victim of a horrendous act of hate, control, and violation, Asher needed to make his own choices, have his own voice, and take back his life on his own terms.
Loving this series. This was amazing

The beginning of the story was just heartbreaking, but to read Kelex's note at the end was just devastating :(. I hope you were able to find some healing by writing it. Of course, this book was a great addition to the series. I'm glad Asher found his happy ever after with Graham and Airan. I hope Red, Quentin, and Ben get a story soon :)

Thanks

Thanks for sharing your story and your heart in this book. I hope writing Asher helped you as much as reading about his healing helped me. I'm really enjoying this series and looking forward to the next triad forming.
