This issue of the comic continues at the high quality of the previous.
The story is engaging and really pulls you in and has me excited for the next issue.
I also really like the artistic style of the Poe Dameron comics and would have to say that out of all the new canon comics in the star wars universe this series has been by far the best so far!

Learning the bakstory of Terex gives more depth to the Battle of Jakku and how that "final" battle sparked a further vengeance of dedicated stormtroopers like Terex to persevere for the Empire's dream, making him a great villainand whom i'd love to see in the big screen in a cameo or a small part in the episodic 8 or 9.

First off, this is a review of the paper version of the comic - as with others I've reviewed, Goodreads doesn't seem to know that there is a paper edition!

After the self-contained adventure of issue 7, we are back to dealing with the fallout from the previous mission to the prison planet - in truth, it feels like the events of issue 7 are almost completely ignored, which threw me off a little at first. So, after that prison mission, Poe is left wondering if there is a mole in his squadron leaking information to the First Order - what else could explain why Terex always seems to know where to find him? Of course it hurts Poe that he can't trust the members of a squadron that he personally chose. I like the fact that we see these moments, we see our heroes having doubts, we see the realities of day-to-day life in the Resistance. We also get to know about Terex's background in this issue, helping us to understand his motivations in the process (and neatly linking this comic with other SW media).

It is really a character-building issue, getting to know the key players that bit better before launching into the next mission. I look forward to finding out what happens next.

"I liked it!" - 3 out of 5 star rating.

Okay Terex... you've gone and done it - you've finally grown on me. Well done.

This comic provided the much needed backstory for our main villain of this comic book series, First Order Security Bureau Operative, former Stormtrooper, Palpatine closet cult worshipper: Agent Terex.

The first 1-3 issues of this comic I was hating hard on this guy - because all of the much needed character depth found here was missing. I feel like they should have front loaded this content and not waiting until 200+ pages of comic (issue #8) to inject this material. You know what they say though - better late than never.

These Poe comics have absolutely matured into some really great Star Wars content.

Looking forward to the new arc about to kick-off, with this issue being mainly about filling the gaps with Terex and setting up the upcoming mission ahead.

Onward to #10 and looking forward to it!

It's really awkward placing this after #7 and having nothing to do with it. But I do love that we are learning more about Agent Terex. I didn't realize that he was much older than I had thought initially.

Comienzan los flasbacks sobre lo que ocurrió justo después de la caída del imperio. Esto empieza a tomar envergadura.

Fun start to the arc and gives a cool bit of backstory for Terex.

A traitor in the Black Squadron? Ooooh, I can't wait to read more about that, even though this issue was kind of a filler and nothing really ~happened.

So…I think I might be right about who the mole is, but this issue doesn't answer it for sure so I guess I have to spend even more time being anxious about it. Great. I definitely wasn't expecting Terex's background to be what it was, so that was interesting and I'm looking forward to seeing that explored some more. I'm also looking forward to some Poe and C-3PO adventures, because they sound like a lot of fun.

Without a doubt the best issue in the series so far. The twist can be seen from miles away already, but it all lines up so well here that I couldn't help but get excited.
