Ever wondered what your cat gets up to while you’re out? Well wonder no more, because Mogglebox is here to reveal that our feline friends are secret telly addicts – and they have lots to say about the shows we make for them! Curl up with these commentating kitties and discover television as you’ve never seen it before.
Charlie Ellis believes that cats 'are telly addicts and there's no denying it'. To prove his point he produces a whole host of photographs that portray felines revealing 'what goes through their moggy minds when they're glued to the tube'. And he has done an excellent job in matching emotions with television programmes.
One of my favourites has a tabby studiously looking at his paw and saying, 'Let me see: add the 10 and the 4, multiply by 50, and - oh, this is hard.' Meanwhile another long-haired cat snarls and says, 'Aargh, not another show about cute dogs! Change the channel!' And speaking of changing the channel, a kitten is on his/her back and stretching out his/her paws and saying, 'If I can just stretch a little more, I can reach the remote without moving!'
A gorgeous white little kitty is glued to the set and saying, 'Sometimes a good documentary can really make you think ...' - quite true indeed - and another favourite of mine is the youngster peering tentatively over the settee and thinking, 'I won't sleep a wink tonight! I never should have stayed up for Tails of the Unexpected!'
Great images, great captions all go to making this a super little book.
