So I started this Baymoor series backwards, I did not realize that this was book 2, but was capture by the summary, so I had to read it.

I really enjoy this book, esp. since there are other characters from other series I read in this book. So it made it so much more exciting.

I really enjoy reading about Eliza, I love the fact that when Wade jump into her face she jump right back into his. It had me going like "Yeah, who does this boy think he is. Don't he know you don't jump in no one face without them having the same reaction."

Eliza went through a lot going up that it literally breaks my heart, her brother Graham deff went ride or die for her. And protected his older sister, as well as his younger sister too. I love that he was more than willing to start some mess with Wade when he was upset with Eliza and wanted answers. And then back off when he realization that there was more to the story between his sister and Wade, and told her she needed to handle her business. Graham is one character that I would love to read about, and will be getting his book to read really soon.

I don't really have sympathy for Eliza ex-husband David. Although I don't have ill feelings for him all that much considering that he save her and was very much the knight and shinning armor for her and her sibling. I don't agree with all the choices he made concerning her and what conspire between him, his lover, as well as her.

I love the chemistry between Eliza and Wade, it was spot on from when they met, and she deff brought Wade down to his knees. He wanted her and only her and be damn the fact that she was married or in a complicated relationship. He was more than willing to fight for her, and have a relationship with her. Though in the beginning I didn't agree with the fact that he still continue to see her knowing she was in a relationship. Whether it is a complicated relationship or not, you're still in a relationship. Until it was explain what the complication of that relationship was, that is when I was okay with that. In the beginning it kind of had me hesitant on whether I should be cheering for Wade or not.

I very much like Wade partner Jimmy, and was very upset to find out he died. i don't care for Jimmy's wife, she is a real piece of work. And agree with everyone in the book that he so could've done a whole lot better. I also believe in Karma and that she will get what she has coming to her, base of her actions and words, Jimmy should have never got married to her. She's really ungrateful.

I think was killed me the most and had me at the edge of my seat is the ending. Why oh Why the cliff hanger. The nerve of the ending. Lol. I cannot wait to see the reaction that everyone had in the next book.

Eliza and Wade, trip to Baymoor

This book had a lot going on. Though it was a second chance love story between Eliza and Wade, it was also a book wholly encompassing many characters (and storylines) from previous books. A few questions from book one in this series that were left unanswered in that book, were answered in this one. But then, this book ended with new questions.

Though I liked delving deeper into Eliza's marriage with David, getting more detail on Davis Fowler and the Fowler legacy of domestic violence, Wade's reasons for leaving the NYPD, Graham's shadow life, etc., I still feel that the characters weren't completely fleshed out. The author introduced so many characters, that it makes sense that so many of them are one dimensional.

Humor, intimacy, murder and steamy sex. All in all, I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the final book in this series.

This love story is so unconventional. It’s a love story within a love story. Eliza was loved as a cover up and it was working as that loved took care of her and protected her. But when that love allowed her the chance to love for love and she runs into Wade it’s something she has never felt but is enjoying and craving the way it allows her to be more of her self than she has ever been. When the worlds met and she is made to choose she is felt she is pushed into a corner. When Eliza and Wade meet again it’s been almost 9 years that past and everything has changed but everything is the same at the same time.

Again in this is more of the small towns dark past and covered stories are trying to resurface and Eliza along with her sister and brother coming back into town to make things right and bring everything to like.

With the Brothers story being next I can’t wait. He scares you in the 1st book but slowing makes his presents more know in this one.

Wow!

I am so confused because I though Max and Georgina's story was the bomb, but this one is by far exceeding it... Even though it's a plus that my favorite story is that of a nice interracial couple, this story would have been the same if it was the same race...
Eliza was so right for Wade whom I though was the best of both worlds. The rest of the crew was just perfect although it unnerved me about this domestic violence going on but I thought MS. Young was brilliant in how she was able to master and work around the story to gives us a full explanation...
That said, I can't wait for bad boy Graham to come out. I have already gotten my book, drink and so ready to start reading it now.

Loved it!!!

My favorite of the series so far. Sexy and hilarious ( literal lol several times). Loved the twists and turns of the characters, reveal of people slowly without leaving you confused and in the dark. Hadn't read about the Whiskey Row clan in a while, but loved all the connections and updates on them. Eliza and her loyalty, strength and Love for her family was refreshing. So tired of female leads that are all damsel with no power or voice. She went thru tragedy, but didn't just need a man. She was able to balance her strength and let others in. Wade was also tender, loving but no push over just because of his love. Great book!

This was ok.
WAY heavy handed in beating us over the head with every possible "sista wish list for a man" moment, but perhaps thats just me. Just gets to be a bit too much in every sex scene or romantic moment.
One real complaint is unclear time hopping. So many flashbacks with no specification of when they were starting or who was having them some of the time. I did appreciate the fact that the two didn't waste a ton of time on misdirected anger once it became obvious they were both victims in what happened with their past.

3 starts for mostly being entertaining enough to let me finish even if not super engrossed.

Lost and Found

This read was an absolutely wonderful read! It had everything a reader could want. The good, the bad and the ugly things that happen in life with extras that might or might not happen in real life. All the characters were amazing and well suited for each other. The Spring Chickens and the Reverend were something else altogether. 😂😂😂 The relationship between David and Eliza was totally unexpected. And who knew that Graham would be such a badass. Loved it!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

But with everything that was going on and finding out the real deal with some of the town's people just left me like really!! This second book is worth it! You won't be able to put it down. While this can be read as a standalone, I don't recommend it. It's best to read the first book in this series to really appreciate Lost & Found.

Eliza and Wade's past relationships is not what readers would expect but it is evident that these two are made for each other. Tons of secrets are revealed, pasts are confronted and true love between those two. Eliza's adorable and wise for her age daughter, Camille, is a fantastic addition to this story.

Great Story

I enjoyed reading Eliza and Wade's story. It's a shame so much time went by before they found each other again. But now they are together and no one will be able to tear them apart. It was crazy how Wade found out about Camille, she was a cutie! Eliza went through a lot in her life, I'm glad she didn't allow her past to make her a hard mean person. I loved Wade he was definitely a sweetheart. Now on to Graham and Annabelle's story.

When I start I can’t wait to finish then get to the end and wish it keeps going! I love that each series crosses over to the next and keeps the reader informed of the other characters across each series! D. A. Young keep’em coming I’m here for it!😉😘

Great!!!!

I love the Baymoor series and the struggle the Carlton siblings have overcome to find their happiness. The men in the Carlton sister lives are so therapeutic for them making it easier for them to heal. I can't wait to see what happens next for Graham to find his happily ever after.

Beautiful!!!!

This author is relatively new to me, my first book was the Farmer and the Belle and I know she's going to be a favorite of mine.

I love Wade and Eliza's story, it warms the heart and teaches a story of perseverance and determination. I also love the humor in the dialogue between the characters.

I strongly recommend this series.

Wade and Eliza

I read the Baymoor series book one and I was expecting something different. This book did not meet my expectations. I did not feel their chemistry.
The storyline between these two did not flow well with me, and I had a hard time finishing this story. I will continue to follow this series

👍😉Highly recommended!

Wow, David was a very manipulative and controlling man. He really couldn't stand Wade to keep something so precious from him. Enjoyed the outcome of Wade and Eliza story. She deserves her happiness.

Can’t Wait For Book 3

I am such a sucker for a good series and I am thoroughly enjoying this one! Wade and Eliza’s story was complex and beautiful, and best of all steamy😉. Now that the author has teased us with Graham & Annabelle, I am looking forward to reading about them too.

Meh

I just couldn't get into it. There was nothing special or captivating to me as to why these two should get back together. Had to put it down at %30, so I did try. I enjoyed the Sullivan's story tho...

Good read

I so didn’t like Wade in the beginning. I still didn’t really feel the love between the two. The stories around them kept my interest. It all came together seamlessly. On to the next.

Eliza and Wade went through hell to finally reach heaven with one another. With so many others on the ride as well. Can’t wait to see if Graham is successful in his endeavors. Good book with lots of action and romance.
