A tsunami is a series of ocean waves caused by a sudden, large displacement of water. Most often caused by earthquakes, tsunamis can also be triggered by landslides, volcanic eruptions, and comet or meteorite impacts in the ocean. Tsunamis can move like a fast-rising flood tide, a storm surge, or an advancing wall of water. They strike with devastating force and travel faster than you can run! Learn how to protect yourself and your loved ones when tsunamis happen using the information provided in this action-packed comic!

"Be prepared for emergencies" is the subject of this story and the moral of this tale.

Be prepared for any likely and possibly unlikely emergency situation that may occur, especially while you are far from civil authorities and emergency assistance. Food, water, shelter and medical supplies are vitally important. This simply told story shows how things can change in seconds and if you don't act fast and work together, lives can be at risk. I recommend this graphic story for pre-teen and teenage children.

It's for kids but useful

It's in comic book form with a list of things that you might want and need in an emergency. It's got some internet addresses too for emergencies.

Buena información

Siempre hay que estar preparados para un sismo de gran magnitud, y en varios casos, los stunamis que le siguen en el mismo país y costas de otros países.
