Finally an exciting issue I can get behind, things are finally starting to get moving. One more issue left until this story arc ends. The War for Phang has been my least favorite story arc so far but I'll wait to see how they wrap it all up, who knows, maybe I'll change my mind.

...violence seems to have so much in common with an untreatable venereal disease. It burrows deep inside of everyone it touches, flaring up again and again to hurt others...
...until the day it finally consumes its host.

mmm, still not convinced. to me now it appeal to gore images just for shock effect.

some few new things, the 'return' not very successfull

What an issue! I cried reading the emotion on Lying Cat's face (Fiona Staples is extraordinary) and gasped at the ending. I can't wait for the arc's last installment.

I haven't been feeling Saga as much lately, but this was a satisfying issue. Although, if two things had gone differently, I don't know if I would be able to continue reading. Which is probably a lie, because Stockholm syndrome has set in for me with this series. But I would at least take a break.

It's extremely difficult to rate the individual chapters, therefore the following is a review of the seventh volume. In other words, chapters thirty-seven through forty-two.

Brian K. Vaughan’s Saga series is the only graphic novel series I have continued to read after a couple of volumes. There is no doubt that it is my favourite graphic novel series, and volume seven is my favourite of the series thus far.

There was so much more packed into this one than I’d anticipated, sucking me deeper into the story and progressing many elements. It was packed with emotion and handled lots of topics throughout, ensuring I could not get enough of it. Every volume of Saga has managed to do more than expected, but this one did more than the rest. It gripped my heart throughout, and I fell a little deeper into the universe.

Without a doubt, if you’ve read this far, you’re sure to be lost to this volume.

A lovely Christmas present from a dear friend, many thanks!

In the days following Christmas, there are few things I enjoy half so much as reading the books gifted to me. Perhaps it is a leftover ancestral notion of telling ghost stories during the Christmas season. Though I have read this issue before it was a lovely opportunity to revisit the Saga story. That my enjoyment was heightened by being curled up in bed on Christmas night is no small detail.

Merry Christmas to all and a happy Yuletide!

Kurti and Hazel are playing a game of hide & seek when suddenly The March grabs Kurti by the neck in which the two headed freelancer is calling out for Marko or else Kurti will get hurt. Since Marko got knockout that Alana takes charge and deal with this situation. Yep, Hazel can't take it anymore and use her spell to shock The March then Marko kills them asap. I feel like the arc is finally closing and stuff.

"The late D. Oswald Heist once said that the opposite of war is FUCKING, but I'm not so sure...

Pace finally picked up, great illustrations as usual, some nice thoughts, it looks like things have finally started moving...and getting more complicated. Most of the characters, including The Will, (re)appeared in this issue and it's an obvious step forward from the last one

Everything comes to a head, as the gang in the tree learns what's headed for the planet-or rather what the planet is headed for! And they're faced not just with Robot-Man's madness, but with the bounty hunter that's out for Marko. But don't worry, Marko can handle it.

1. Marko killing the two headed bounty hunter. It’s getting crazy!!
2. Prince Robot really needs to come down from his high.
3. Why do I still not trust these meerkat things?
4. Lying Cat and The Will not being back together. Sad day.

Something about this was so lovely. I think it's the narration, but I also enjoyed the small amount of Sophie & Gwendolyn.
