I don't ever do this but this is a DNF for me. I just can't get in to the style of writing. I'm sure it's just me but I have too many books to read and don't want to spend time on one I just can't enjoy.

This book had so much potential but yet many issues for me

One of the first things I noticed was that it seems to be written by someone with English not as their first language or it was translated into English, poorly. This meant that sentence structure, especially in conversations, was difficult to follow sometimes. You had to figure out who was doing the talking and that lead to some frustration.

Secondly, this book is definitely written like a YA book. So much angst, crying, and back and forth discussion made the female character seem like a whiny child and frankly, it was boring. Towards the middle of the book, I was confused as to why these guys even put up with her weepy self.

The drama and angst continued through the entire book! UGH! The few sex scenes these three finally got around to was less than steamy and the female seemed to have no clue about anything. Plus the ending was abrupt and almost heartless.

I should have stopped reading it but I was hoping, hoping there would be something wonderful to come. But this book was less than stellar, which is too bad because it could have been so much more!

I was looking to read something different, and I got just that. The main reason why I requested to review this book, I will admit, were the words 'love triangle' in the summary. Who doesn't love a good love triangle.
But I am confused by this book.
And I'm not just talking about the odd behavior of the characters, or the main character's decision in the end, cause those are always up for a debate. What I'm most confused by is the writing itself.
The dialogue tabs are all over the place, I had no idea who was speaking half the time. The phrases were also off, I had a hard time cracking the code and trying to understand.
I get that it's a translation from Italian, but it's not done well at all. I grew up reading translations, I grew up reading books translated from Italian, and I had no problem understanding. This one just isn't executed well.

I received this book from Netgalley for a honest review. I have never read anything from this author before and the synopsis really caught my attention. The book was a bit slow to start with (so persevere) but the storyline had me hooked from the start, not to mention hot under the collar in places.

The main characters Oscar and Leo were a mixture of steamy, kind, alpha goodness and I was very pleased with the final outcome. Sara's character would have been a lot better if she wasn't always crying and I must admit that this started to really bug me after a while.

The book also contained quite a few errors, with words missing in sentences or in the wrong order to no spaces between words. The use of "Queens English" in places also meant that it didn't flow as easily as it could have for readers. That said - it did become a very addictive book that I would recommend and I will also definitely read more books from this author in the future.

Wow! Questa storia è fantastica!
Ero un po’ scettica se leggerlo o no, perché ormai di storie con triangoli amorosi ne avevo lette a bizzeffe, invece ho fatto bene a leggerla!

Conosciamo i tre protagonisti, Sara, Leo e Oscar al matrimonio della migliore amica di Sara, Maddy e subito si intuisce che i tre hanno un passato in comune: infatti Sara vorrebbe evitarli in quanto i due sono in cerca di risposte da lei sui fatti avvenuti 5 anni prima. Bè, dura molto poco, visto che finisce subito a letto con uno e si chiude in camera con l’altro…
Inizia poi un lungo flashback che ci racconta gli avvenimenti precedenti, con Sara che incomincia uno stage in un laboratorio in Svizzera dove lavorano anche Leo e Oscar. Sara è reduce da una brutta delusione amorosa ma tra vetrini, microscopi e pipette (è uno strumento di laboratorio, non pensate male!) nasce una forte attrazione tra i tre. Sara è combattuta, ma caspita, le piacciono tutti e due! E un bacio a uno e un bacio all’altro, Sara è 100% confusa!
Non ti sai decidere? Fa niente. Ci pensano i due a proporle 4 giorni di sesso infuocato con entrambi e poi amici come prima!
E quando finalmente Sara capisce di chi è veramente innamorata….

Di solito quando si legge di un triangolo, si è portate a patteggiare per uno o per l’altro, ma in questo caso non mi è successo: entrambi sono delle brave persone, con alle spalle delle delusioni d’amore, ed hanno paura a lasciarsi andare di nuovo.
Non aspettatevi il solito libro sui mènage: le scene di sesso, parecchie, non sono per niente volgari, il linguaggio non è troppo crudo ma il tutto è estremamente coinvolgente!

Note negative: Sara piange ogni due per tre… a tutto c’è un limite! E il finale mi è sembrato troppo veloce, ci si poteva dilungare un po’ di più.

Giudizio complessivo: CONSIGLIATO!!!

libro veloce da leggere ma che ahimè non mi ha trasmesso nulla. La trama è prededibile e poco credibile. La protagonista femminile è fino alla fine volubile, instabile e piagnucolona. Speravo si riprendesse a fine libro ma oltre a ció si è rivelata pure sfigata. Le ha tutte lei. I personaggi maschili sono i 2 stereotipi del buono e cattivo ragazzo che se la contendono. Clichè giá visto in altri libri o serie tv. Buono, dolce e affidabile o instabile, str...o e imprevedibile? Speravo in un colpo di scena finale ma non solo non c'è stato, è stato frettoloso e prevedibile. Peccato.

Ho letto tantissimi libri ma raramente uno così stupido e insulso. Protagonisti poco credibili. Una lei che piange senza motivo. Un lui pazzoide. Un finale affrettato. Una storia che non regge: scritta male, senza alcun approfondimento psicologico. Far digerire un ménage è complicato anche per le scrittrici migliori ma in questo libro, sembra più una farsa. Bocciato!

Sara is 25 and has recently moved to Basel to work on a doctorate in cytogenetics in a laboratory. Having recently broken up with her boyfriend, she is feeling depressed, shaken and lost. Then she meets Leo and Oscar at the laboratory, and to her surprise feels strongly attracted to both of them.

Blue-eyed, fair-haired Leo is gentle and sensitive. Oscar, his best friend, is the opposite: dark-haired and brown-eyed, and direct to the point of brusqueness. They make her a proposition – that she spend four days with them in Barcelona, going along with anything they suggest. The only condition is that no relationships are to be formed. But what happens in Spain perturbs her so much that she finds it impossible keep to their agreement...

My Thoughts

Thanks to the folks over at Netgalley for getting me access to this book as i'm always looking for new authors and stories to get into. Based on the cover art and the description, i was into what this story had to offer and i guess it was 'ok'

What we have here is a story of a girl who's trying to put her life back together after she finds her boyfriend in bed with her best friend. So as her life is continuing now that she's found a new place to do her masters work, she's also found herself being swept up by 2 really good looking guys who happen to be best friends.

Of course they are so different that she's able to find things about both that really make her excited but then she's also finding that it's quite hard to make a decision between the two since both arouse and excite her in ways that the others don't and in fact in ways that kind of brought the demise to her relationship. It's only when they offer her a weekend of more passion and intrigue that we see that her hand is forced to make a decision.

The way that this story is written is that we're focusing for a bit around 5 years in the future when we are at Sara's best friend's wedding, of course to a guy who's best friends with the same two men that made her life a challenge years ago. Those two guys, Leo and Oscar of course are at the wedding and this forces the situation a bit more since there's so much uncertainty from when they parted ways all those years ago.

The question that we ask ourselves throughout this story is whether she's able to make a decision and who she chooses - and then what that means for the triangle. Will she turn friend against friend or will there be a way to make this threesome work as it often does in this genre. I think that we're pleasantly surprised yet we completely expected the outcome that it's an interesting read.

To be honest though, there's something about the style of writing that kept throwing me off. It was almost as though English was not the language that this story was originally written in since there are often times when the conversations seem a bit uncomfortable in grammar and phrasing. And i feel like there are words and sentiments that just didn't work as they should in conversation since it felt like it was a translation. I think that had the editing been a bit smoother, then the story would have flowed just a bit better and i would have liked this all. It's a good direction for a story, but there's that one bit that kept it from being something 'great'. Oh well.

La fiera delle assurdità, in queste parole si condensa il mio personale giudizio sul libro, perché credo di aver letto raramente qualcosa di così poco congruente.
Cominciamo dai personaggi.
Lei, Sara, chiaramente bellissima ma del tutto incapace di rendersene conto, è praticamente un essere amorfo, privo di carattere, dalla lacrima più che facile, indecisa cronica, il classico tipo di persona costantemente in balia degli avvenimenti e del tutto incapace di affrontare in prima persona le difficoltà, un personaggio che non sono mai riuscita ad apprezzare in alcun modo e in nessun momento della storia.
Loro, i due protagonisti maschili, sono amici per la pelle sempre pronti a supportarsi l’un l’altro, entrambi – ovviamente - bellissimi e con stuoli di donne che cadono ai loro piedi, il primo Leo, biondo, occhi azzurri, dolce, tenero, protettivo e rassicurante, l’altro Oscar, moro, occhi scuri, un po’ ombroso e scostante, dei due è il “cattivo ragazzo”, ciascuno con alle spalle una storia finita male che li condiziona nei rapporti con le donne.
Sara, che ha appena lasciato il ragazzo con cui stava da tempo, Mark (altro bel tipo strano!) per averlo trovato a letto con la sua amica Lisa, si è da poco trasferita a Basilea per completare la sua tesi di laurea. Qui conosce Leo e Oscar e ne rimane talmente colpita da scoprire di desiderare entrambi allo stesso modo. Non riuscendo a decidere chi le piace di più, i due le propongono di passare, subito dopo la laurea, loro tre soli, 4 giorni nei quali lei dovrà essere la loro ragazza in tutto e per tutto. Unica condizione è che al ritorno ognuno riprenda la normale vita di sempre senza strascico alcuno. E quello che al lettore si prospettava come un “ménage a trois”, all’atto pratico si rivelerà invece esser solo una strana forma di voyerismo/esibizionismo, pure alquanto sofferta e maldestra. I quattro giorni terminano però in maniera brusca e inaspettata aprendo un vuoto nelle vite dei nostri personaggi che – attenzione - durerà ben cinque anni prima di poter trovare una sua definizione. Cinque anni (e ripeto cinque anni!!!) durante i quali i tre protagonisti, oltre a non essersi più visti, sembrano aver lasciato completamente in sospeso le loro vite in attesa di chissà cosa. E se questo potrebbe essere del tutto possibile per l’amorfa Sara che rifugge da sempre qualsiasi tipo di chiarimento, lo trovo inspiegabile per i due amici Leo e Oscar che, almeno sino a quel momento, sembravano possedere un certo carattere.
Non starò a dire altro anche se ce ne sarebbe ancora, ma la storia mi è apparsa nel complesso assurda e ridicola, soprattutto per il comportamento di Sara che, pur sapendo cosa desidera e vuole, continua a comportarsi come una ragazzina immatura e incapace, nonostante i suoi, prima, 25 e, poi, 30 anni.
Tante descrizioni di scene di sesso che più che trasgressive mi sono apparse poco coinvolgenti, carenti di pathos e pure piuttosto ingenue, per non dire anche completamente incongruenti rispetto al carattere anodino di Sara.
Insomma, per me un gran papocchio, dove il minimo di logicità prevedibile risulta del tutto disperso nelle nebbie di una fantasia piuttosto semplice e ingenua per quello che sembrava e, avrebbe potuto essere, l’impianto della storia.

This book had the potential to be a good romance but fell short in so many ways. My biggest issue was the writing. I'm not sure if English is a second language for this author or if something has gone wrong with the translation but I found it very hard to read. Not only were certain phrases used over and over again (I swear if I had to read one more time how beautiful one of the boys were and another adverb was used I was going to stab myself in the eyes), entire paragraphs made no sense. Aside from the writing I had major issues with all of the characters. Oscar was annoying and rude and I found it hard to believe that Leo was even a real person. Neither of them was a character I could fall in love with or even get behind enough to want Sara to pick. To be honest, I'm not sure what Sara saw in either guy as there didn't seem to be enough character development for me. Aside from tragic backstories (you seriously expect me to believe all three main characters had one?) and physical attraction to Sara I really couldn't tell you what I knew about Leo or Oscar. As much as I didn't like Leo and Oscar, Sara drove me crazy. I really think she needed some sort of professional help, never have I ever heard or seen some who cried as much as she did. Yes it's sad that her ex cheated on her and said she was boring in the bedroom but her whole reaction to it was totally over the top and she constantly made terrible decisions some of which caused undue worry and stress to the other characters. She relied far too much on her friend Maddy as well, does she not have anyone else she can talk to? I felt so sorry for Maddy, constantly having to deal with all of Sara's problems. Sara was so self involved that I can barely remember anything about her other than she was in a relationship with Alessandro. There was no development of the friendship between the two girls. Maddy just felt like a soundboard for all of Sara's issues and that was it. She served no other purpose except for being the voice of reason as to why the weekend in Barcelona was a terrible idea. And it was truly a terrible idea. The whole weekend was cringe worthy, I have read numerous erotica books (including Fifty Shades of Grey) and can truly say this is the first one where I had to walk away the scenes were written so poorly. Not only the poor writing, the whole premise made no sense. Of course a threesome with two best friends who you are attracted to isn't going to work. Which lead to the most ridiculous ending I have ever read. Even though she made a decision, Sara was in an accident on the way to meet her chosen guy and took that as a sign that she shouldn't pick either guy. THEN SHE COMPLETELY CUT OFF CONTACT WITH BOTH OF THEM FOR 5 YEARS until she was forced to see them again at Maddy and Alessandro's wedding. What kind of a person is she that she would do that? Nothing for five years. This along with her actions at the wedding truly made me realise that Sara is a selfish nasty person and a wholly unlikeable main character. Also, I don't get why, if both guys were truly in love with her, neither showed up at her house demanding an explanation. The only reason I even finished this book is that I wanted to know who she picked and at only 180 pages it was a quick read. If it was above 200 pages I would have seriously considered looking up the ending and not putting myself through the toture of this book. If you are looking for a romance or erotica, do yourself a favour and find another book. This one is an absolute waste of your time.

This book seemed to have great potential. Unfortunately it failed pretty miserably for 2 major reasons.

First of all, the heroine Sara spends about 80% of the book crying. She cries at work, she cries to her friends, she cries when she is alone, she cries while she's kissing and she cries during sex. ENOUGH already! That is not endearing behavior to anyone.

The second major problem with the book is that it almost feels like it was translated from another language. The phrasing is often strange, but the biggest problem is that it's VERY difficult to figure out who is speaking from paragraph to paragraph.

Rather than give away any of the story, I will make up an example of what I mean:
"Good morning!" He grinned at her.
Now, most readers would assume by that line of text that a gentleman was grinning and telling someone good morning. However, over and over and OVER in this book this formatting is used to mean that Sara is speaking, and one of the men is grinning back at her in response. I got so sick of having to reread things to figure out who was speaking to whom, I was ready to heave my Kindle out the window. I didn't though because i have it loaded with many other, more entertaining things to read.

I stuck this book out to the bitter end, and it was often pretty tortuous. The love scenes are kind of odd, the relationships are even odder, and the people are all just very unbelievable and unlikable. The Big Mystery about what happened to Sara is completely anticlimactic, and everyone's behavior to each other borders on cruel and unrealistic. It's just a strange book, and I will skip this author from now on.

This is just a strange observation and has nothing to do with my review, but I also wondered why the author's name is spelled two different ways- one way on the cover and another way inside the book. Is she Italian or an Italian wannabe? Odd.

Si possono amare due persone allo stesso tempo?
Sara non sa come superare questo momento di crisi, esce da una storia d’amore importante...

“Nessuno, da fuori, avrebbe notato il mio cuore spezzato”

...eppure quando incontra Leo e Oscar è pervasa da una scossa, un brivido di fuoco che la porta ad accettare una proposta alquanto particolare.
Quattro giorno, solo quattro giorno di divertimento per arrivare a scegliere.
Eppure la scelta si fa attendere.
Sara è sempre più confusa, sempre più indecisa. Sente che il suo sentimento cresce, ma non riesce a scegliere uno dei due.
Nella colorata Barcellona, Sara, Leo e Oscar vivono giorni indimenticabili, in attesa di salire su un aereo.
Ma con chi andrà via Sara?
Quale sarà la sua scelta?
Chi le ha fatto veramente battere il cuore?
Non avevo letto niente di questa autrice, che devo dire mi è piaciuta molto. Ha uno stile molto accattivante e coinvolgente. Il suo romanzo è originale, particolare, una trama che sa osare. A dire il vero in alcuni momenti era un po’ sopra le righe, per i miei gusti. E’ un romanzo in cui l’erotismo la fa da padrone, soprattutto nella seconda parte del racconto. E’ una storia che si legge con piacere, è scorrevole e ben costruita. I personaggi sono ben delineati, almeno quelli principali. Tra i secondari, solo l’amica Maddy risalta ed è ben disegnata, gli altri sono solo abbozzati.
Poiché è un libro molto particolare (sempre per come l’ho vissuto io), ho potuto prendere poche citazioni, ma quella che mi è piaciuta di più è questa

“Gli occhi non mentono mai, Sara, a dispetto di quello che si dice con la bocca.”

Per tutto il libro il mio preferito, la mia scelta, è stato Leo, per voi?
Libro leggero, molto carino da leggere, senza tante pretese.

I have not read anything from the author before, but I would bet everything that she also writes Historical Romance. This story has a feel of a historical, but in modern times. There are a lot of details and the story is definitely a slow build.

It is evident that the author is not an American because the dialog and some terminology used doesn’t feel accurate of the age and time here in the states. The term “making love,” which is used throughout this story, is just not something a 25 year old girl would be saying in 2010 while talking about a threesome. It’s something that leads me to believe this author writes historicals.
Honestly I almost gave of and called it a DNF at about chapter 3. It just wasn’t holding my interest, but then the flashback to the meat of the story happened and I became captivated on how the story line would play out.

The story flow was pretty slow in the beginning, but by the last few chapters I couldn’t put it down until I knew the outcome.

I would recommend this book to someone who likes both contemporary and historical romance with a bit of risque behavior as this story is a good mix with the added details of sexual activities.

Questo libro è la dimostrazione che i triangoli amorosi non funzionano quasi mai, anche se le persone coinvolte sono consapevoli di farne parte. Alla fine, qualcuno finisce sempre per farsi male, se non tutti.
Di questo libro tre cose non mi sono piaciute:
1) i salti temporali, davvero esagerati, che mi hanno portato spesso a chiedermi quanti anni avessero i personaggi.
2)la protagonista, noiosa e infantile oltre ogni dire che viene inizialmente presentata come una persona sessualmente repressa e che alla fine tutto sembra fuorché quello.
3) l' uso ripetuto della parola "sensuale", (giuro che mi stava mandando ai pazzi) e l'evidenziare continuamente quanto fossero "bellissimi" i due protagonisti. Ma se erano così fantastici perchè cavolo hanno perso tutto sto tempo dietro a una tipa noiosa e infantile come questa?!!
Ah, e un' ultima cosa, io avevo capito chi avrebbe scelto sin dall'inizio.

Avevo questo libro nel kindle da mesi, se non anni lo ammetto e poi in una domenica mattina ho aperto il libro e cominciato a leggere senza riuscire a fermarmi.
Ho divorato letteralmente questa lettura nel giro di una giornata, per quanto mi abbia preso, intrigato eppure il finale mi ha lasciato l'amaro in bocca.
Parto con il dire che senz'altro mi aspettavo una storia diversa, un qualcosa di più simbiotico tra tutti e tre i personaggi eppure il titolo mi avrebbe dovuto dare un piccolo accenno.
Nonostante questo, però, la lettura è stata scorrevole, uno stile semplice.
Avrei potuto dare perfino cinque stelline ma il finale è stato troppo troppo breve... Mi aspettavo almeno un epilogo, almeno una continuazione di come sarebbe stata il dopo la scelta, e invece è rimasto così, pressoché tronco.
Quattro stelline.

Leído entre octubre y noviembre de 2016. Veo un importante fallo en el diseño de la cubierta de la novela y es que es demasiado evidente a la hora de saber cuál ha sido la elección de la protagonista y el lector lo averigua tras leer el primer capítulo donde se describe a los dos protagonistas masculinos. Hubiese sido mejor haber mostrado al trío completo y despistar así al lector. "Ho scelto te" muestra una trama erótica algo más atrevida de lo habitual. La autora se atreve a mostrar a los tres protagonistas de manera simultánea y compartiendo escenas de cama. Las escenas eróticas están bien contextualizadas, narradas y son diversas entre sí. La storia di Sara, Leo e Oscar è stata abbastanza forte in molti punti di vista.
Quando le persone ti fanno perdere la fiducia in te stessa e la parte più brutta di tutte, perché nel rialzarti ci metti un pò di più.
Ma la forza che ti viene dopo è ancora più forte, dobbiamo solo imparare a dare a noi stesse una possibilità di essere felice.

This was a decent book. Well written but didn't grab me as I was hoping it would. The story flowed nicely but didn't seem too realistic and I wasn't able to feel connected to the characters too well either. It would be a great weekend read as I feel you could flow through this rather quickly if you have alone uninterrupted time to just sit and read. Overall I feel this deserves 3 stars just due to the fact that I didn't build a strong connection to the characters. Story was well written but just felt it was lacking that extra that would make it hard to put down.

Loro tre insieme fanno scintille e ho amato i flashback e i ritorni al presente.
Ma ho messo 4 stelle e non 5 perché mi aspettavo un finale diverso.

Avevo amato profondamente questo libro in versione self con il titolo Le mie metà. Non pensavo, però, che potessi innamorarmi nuovamente e leggerlo con rinnovata curiosità. Sara decide di dare un taglio al passato, ricominciare da zero dopo essere stata tradita dal suo fidanzato con quella che considerava la sua migliore amica. Al suo primo giorno di stage a Basilea in un laboratorio di citogenetica, sei mesi prima di conseguire la laurea, incontra due uomini che stravolgeranno la sua vita. Uno è Leo Thomas, un ragazzo dolcissimo, affabile e premuroso. L'altro è Oscar, freddo, distaccato ma dai modi di fare disarmanti. L'attrazione fisica per entrambi i ragazzi è immediata, Sara non può negarlo. In presenza dei due, il suo corpo smette di rispondere al cervello e va per conto suo.
Dover fare una scelta è qualcosa di impensabile: Leo è il ragazzo perfetto, il principe azzurro, l'uomo cui non si può dire di no; Oscar è tenebroso, il cattivo ragazzo che ha sempre un fascino particolare sulle donne. Inoltre i tre hanno storie difficili alle spalle e nessuna voglia di impegnarsi.
Quando arriva per Sara una proposta allettante, sexy e perversa, non riuscirà in nessun modo a rifiutare: quattro giorni di passione sfrenata e proibita, quattro giorni in cui poter liberare ogni freno inibitorio e godere di entrambi. La reticenza iniziale verrà presto spazzata via e si aprirà il vortice della passione, un triangolo dalle tinte calde e peccaminose.
Nonostante non ami le storie di triangoli in cui la lei di turno si finge indecisa e nel mentre tiene felicemente il piede in due scarpe, stavolta non mi sono posta per niente il problema. L'idea non mi ha neanche sfiorato.
Ciò che ho amato di più è la caratterizzazione dei personaggi, descritti fin nei minimi dettagli, di loro si conoscono luci ed ombre, fino a rendere il tutto "vivo" e in grado di uscire dalle pagine. Sara appare come una ragazza inesperta, timida, e si ritrova in un gioco più grande di lei, creato ad arte da due ragazzi, due amici, che sembrano aver studiato tutto a tavolino. Leo non è infastidito dall'attrazione che Sara dimostra di provare per Oscar, e a quest'ultimo non fa alcun effetto ritrovarsi Leo e Sara che si baciano davanti ai suoi occhi. Il lettore diventa inevitabilmente parte di questo eccitante e complesso triangolo; impossibile tirarsene fuori o leggere con distacco. Si è parte integrante della storia dall'inizio alla fine. Ogni donna credo si sia chiesta al posto di Sara come avrebbe reagito, cosa avrebbe fatto, ma soprattutto chi avrebbe scelto. Io non ho mai avuto dubbi, ai miei occhi Oscar è sempre stato il favorito. Leo è una presenza fondamentale, è come l'amico da cui correre quando si ha bisogno di un abbraccio o di farsi leccare le ferite. E' il confidente che ti da conforto e sostegno. Ma la passione, il brivido, l'amore... è Oscar. Senza il "bastardo" di turno, l'uomo indecifrabile ed oscuro, Sara non avrebbe mai avuto bisogno della presenza di Leo.
Forse è vero, Sara è un personaggio un po' debole, ma è impossibile recriminare. I maschietti, in questo caso, hanno la loro colpa e hanno fatto la loro parte. Sono stati ambigui, l'hanno tentata, e hanno deciso, tutti, di partecipare in maniera consensuale a questo "gioco".
Consiglio questa lettura a chi vuole leggere una storia diversa, a chi vuole uscire dai canoni e smettere di pensare, a chi non conosce regole... questo di sicuro è uno di quei libri che quando lo chiudi e lo riponi nella libreria, non hai certo chiuso anche la storia. Te la porti dentro, dietro, con te. Continui a chiederti il perchè, cosa c'è dietro, cosa avresti fatto se..., cosa avrebbe fatto lui se...
Spero vivamente che Giulia scriva presto una nuova storia, non vedo l'ora di leggere altro!!!

"La storia sensuale e disarmante di un triangolo amoroso e di una proposta indecente..."
Ho iniziato questo libro pensando si trattasse del solito triangolo amoroso, in cui lei alla fine sceglie il suo lui. Bhè è molto di più, è un triangolo molto fuori dalle righe... o meglio il sogno erotico proibito di molte donne! -_-
Protagonista del romanzo è Sara, venticinquenne reduce da una storia finita male, cornificata dall' ex storico e, da clichè supergettonato, con l'ex sua migliore amica! E fin qui tutto fa brodo...
La temperatura inizia a salire quando nel romanzo compaiono loro: Leo e Oscar, amici inseparabili ma come il giorno e la notte. Come li definisce Maddy, la migliore amica di Sara, loro sono due "dei greci". Leo è tutto ciò che una donna può cercare nel ragazzo ideale: bello, sexy, gentile, romantico, protettivo ma deciso e forte quando serve. Fisicamente è un angelo: capelli chiari, spettinati, piercing al sopraciglio, occhi azzurro cielo e un fisico da paura!
Completamente agli opposti cè lui: il bello e dannato, lo stronzo per eccellenza che fa capitolare, usa e getta tutte le donne che vuole, scorbutico e rude, ironico e letale: è Oscar. Moro, occhi come la pece, e una sfrontatezza che irrita il più delle volte. Sensuale e rude, introspettivo e dal passato nascosto.
Sara ancora scossa dalla sua storia precedente si ritrova inaspettatamente spazzata via dallo tsunami Leo&Oscar che la metton davanti a una vera e propria "proposta indecente" (rif. citazione giù).
A metà del libro già si capisce per chi propende Sara o forse mi sbaglio perchè ci speravo tifando per lui. :P
Non vi dico di più per non rovinarvi la sorpresa...
In sintesi, è una storia che cattura nonostante qualche clichè. E soprattutto è ben scritta, l'ho divorato in qualche ora! Lo consiglio a chi ama quel giusto pizzico di hot (le scene son dettagliate, ma mai volgari) e a chi eroticamente parlando fantastica sul "ménage à trois".

Ciao a tutti cari lettori, rieccomi qui con voi a parlare di ”Ho scelto te” di Giulia Ross, conosciuto anche in versione self publishing come "Le mie metà". Scelto e corretto dalla casa editrice Newton Compton è uscito in libreria lo scorso 24 Settembre. Ammetto di non aver letto la versione self ma credo che sarebbe stato lo stesso stupendo. Il libro mi ha coinvolto tanto, l'ho divorato in una notte, per scoprire presto dove sarebbe ricaduta la scelta di Sara. Parliamo un pò della trama di questo frizzante libro. Il libro inizia da oggi, per poi ricadere nei ricordi di Sara portandola dove ha conosciuto le sue metà, Leo e Oscar. Sara uscita da una brutta storia si deprime, crede di non essere all'altezza di far provare certe emozioni ha un uomo. Poiché il suo ex ragazzo la tradita con la sua migliore
amica. Sara per uno stage si trasferisce a Basilea. Lì dove incontra i due personaggi maschili, Leo affascinante principe azzurro dai capelli biondi, dolce e premuroso, e Oscar l'anti principe, il classico don Giovanni, molto schietto e sincero anche se fa male. Sara durante il suo stage conosce entrambi e non riesce a spiegare come mai prova per entrambi questa irrefrenabile attrazione fisica. Per i due amici non ci sono problemi che si stia formando questo triangolo amoroso, bensì i due propongono a Sara una proposta. Le proporranno di passare con loro quattro giorni a Barcellona lì dove entrambi saranno i suoi fidanzati, ma non appena i giorni saranno finiti tutto tornerà alla vita di sempre. In finale Sara sarà portata a una scelta. Dovrà sceglie chi dei due i suoi sentimenti la conducono. Ho trovato questa storia
davvero leggera, mi è piaciuto molto che l'autrice non si fermasse su particolari inutili. La parte erotica l'ho trovata molto pulita, non sono mai volgari o troppo aperte. La fluidità della storia si vede fin da subito, dal mio punto di vista non lo mai trovata noiosa o altro. L'unica cosa che spero è che l'autrice riesca a scrivere un romanzo della non scelta, perché anche se la scelta l'ho adorata, mi è dispiaciuto dell'altro, che a mio parere è anche molto intrigante come carattere. Anche se lo sono stati entrambi. Non so voi ma se sarei stata al posto di Sara, mi sarei trovata in un bivio, la scelta e stata molto dura, perché i protagonisti sono entrambi molto attraenti e ben definiti dall'autrice in modo da fa innamorare noi lettrici. Vi saluto e vi consiglio di acquistarlo perché è da non perderlo. Alla prossima. Mary
