I left town to get away from my over-protective parents and to try and forget Vaughn, the bad boy biker, who thought I’d screwed him over. But now I’m back and he’s as unforgettable as always. I know that I should stay away, but he’s something I need right now. A distraction from the pain I’m going through.
To hell with everything. I’m tired of being a good girl. I’m tired of running away…
Vaughn
I thought I’d gotten over Lily, but seeing her again has rocked me to the very core. As much as I want to give her the cold shoulder, the need to possess her is burning me up inside. She’s the one girl who I’ve never been able to forget. Now that she’s back in town, I’m going to make sure to return the favor. This story contains crude language, sexual situations, and violence. Is not suitable for readers under the age of 18. Please do not buy if any of this offends you. This is a work of fiction and is not meant to be a true depiction of a motorcycle club. It was written for entertainment only.
**Spoiler ⚠️ ALERT ** Don't don't read past the first few sentences if you are new to The Biker Series. This book is another knock out by Cassie Alexandra. The love, drama, taunting, heroics, real life family relations and sexy sexy men will keep you reading and wanting more. Cassie has a way about her stories that make them come to life inside your head. If you haven't already give this book and her other a shot. Spoiler starts now ... I was excited when I found this book. I had no idea it existed until I stumbled upon it when I was searching for another book to the biker series. Hearing some of my favorite people's names (from the biker series) as I read this really brought me right to where I needed to be. (Tank, Raptor, Gold Vipers etc...) The story starts off with Vaughn and he became this no woman no strings sexy character that takes you completely by surprise after lily steps in. (He totally changes his ways for her). The details in lily's friendship, her relationship with her parents, the setting in Stillwater and her run ins with an old fling were executed perfectly. Although you can tell Cassie didn't write this alone (some details were not normal for her) but still great. I wish more or Vaughns history with his Parents would have been included prior to the ending drama with Tom. I love lily's grandmother. He character was outstanding. At the end I was a bit disappointed because I related this as a new line up that may attach itself to a future of more Biker books. But then they introduce the new V.P. and I realize I've already read his story and a familiar character that was murdered in another book was alive and present in this one. So then I pieced it into the series where it actually belonged according to the time line. I'm not upset by this but my hopes were really really high that this would be the next series. I'm hoping we get more Biker books and a sequel to the StPaul chapter and they flow together ❤
Love Cassie and any lover of biker books, intense story lines and action packed smut Needs TO BUY HER BOOKS !

I didn't care for this books like I wanted to. Vaughn and Lily crushed on each other in high school. She couldn't make it on their date due to her over controlling mother. He was of course rude the remainder of their high school time. She moves away. While in Chicago she meets Karl who later turns out to be gay. Apparently everyone knew he was gay except for Lily. I think Jasmine should have told her what she thought and perhaps saved Lily from prolonging the heartache. She returns to Minnesota for her grandmothers birthday. She literally almost runs into Vaughn. This is where the dislike begins. Vaughn is screwing a married cougar in his neighborhood. He gets a blowjob from her after seeing Lily. He runs into Lily at a bar. He was actually fixing to head out with a waitress that was off the clock he's screwed before when he sees Lily. He was also hitting on the waitress that was working as well. He ditches those two ladies to play darts with Lily and Jasmine. Vaughn and Lily hook up. Vaughn ends up bringing his granny to Lily's grandmothers party. Lily discovers that Vaughn slept with her cousin Pam one year prior. In Vaughn's defense he only slept with her once and tried to avoid Pam when he found out she was Lily's cousin. I'm not sure how big their town was to not know who were all cousins especially since they lived by each other. Vaughn and Lily try to make things work despite what's going on with his club. What I didn't understand was if he knew the crazy man was in town why not keep an eye on Lily? Or all the women that were close to the club. Even after she was almost taken she wasn't protected. It also bothered me that Charlie's threats and the danger they were in was serious but he missed a few phone calls over Lily. I hated that he just found out about Tom and never had a chance to heal and move on with him.

Lily and Vaughn were high school friends. When he asks her out things didn't work out. Her parents grounded her and after waiting for her to show up he ignored her and wouldn't let her explain what happened. Years later Lily is back in town and its no long before they are hooking up. Her mother is an overbearing bitch and Lily for the most part just lets her run her life. She eventually puts her foot down when it comes to Vaughn though. What irritated me is that fact that Lily was almost kidnapped by the MC enemy but she was able to get away. Not to long after she see's the guy responsible and alerts Vaughn. When she realizes he knew all along who was after her she runs off. Twice she was in a situation that could have had some serious consequences and what does Lily do? She decides to go for a walk in a deserted trail away from everyone even though she is been watched. Of course she gets nabbed and I just didn't care. From there it was a comedy of errors. Someone really needs to learn how to edit this series. There are so many errors that makes it distraction to read. When you have to go back and reread to make sure you understand what was just read.
I got this book cos I loved the other MC books Cassie Alexandra has written. So pleased I did as it was as good as those are, it also brought some old favourites back. I was pulled in from the beginning, it has taken me longer to read than normal due to being I'll. I would highly recommend this book along with all of Cassie Alexandra's book. Well worth reading
Il libro peggiore letto di quest’autrice. Proprio brutto. Una storia prova di qualsiasi stimolo. Personaggi insipidi. E come sempre, le donne in queste serie devono abbassare la testa e tacere: se nei primi libri l’avevo tollerato per tanti fattori o comunque capito le motivazioni, in questo proprio mi ha fatto pietà. Patetico.
OMGosh, OMGosh, OMGosh!!!! Each and every page... 😍😍😍
I thoroughly enjoyed this novel from the first page until the very last. It has been a very rare occurrence that I could just pick up a book and read it in one day; but, I was captivated by these characters and their amazing love story instantaneously.
Another cute love story between Lily and Vaughn, they went to high school together and was suppose to go out one night and Lily didn't show up so he was pissed for he wouldn't let her explain, until they met up and he attends a birthday party for her grandma. So many things happen in this book that I had to keep reading didn't want to put it down. I can't wait for another one of her books!
Great Read and investment of purchasing the whole story on finding true love and yourself. The love our families provide for us could be over bearing or non existent. Sometimes families are bonded together without a trace of DNA. Lily and Vaughn both find out running from families love doesn't make life simple it only makes the love, grow more founder.
Control isn't about giving a person the harness over your life. Standing in your own truth and belief is controlling of ones life.
The author has real knowledge about rivals in all areas of psychology. I found only two grammar errors, however, does not mess up the story. You will enjoy this book and will want to read another
