Two books in one. Both were action filled. I don't know why I'm going toward Gangster books!!! I guess I need more drama in my life!! LMAO That's the only way I'll take my drama, through books and movies!!🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️

This book was...something. The book is two stand alone stories by two different authors. Kiki Swinson's "Special Delivery" is about a mail carrier turned drug smuggler. I thought I could live with this story until I got to the ending which was completely ridiculous.

In "Gun Play" by De'Nesha Diamond, a cartel princess is kidnapped during her 21st birthday party. The story focuses on her lover who ends up in a hospital suffering from amnesia. Diamond set up a pretty good story but the execution failed with the constantly shifting points of view and weak ending.

The book as a whole could have used better editing.

Overall I think readers of urban fiction will enjoy this one anyway, especially if they have read other works by the authors. Personally, I would point urban fiction readers elsewhere before choosing this title. Read at your own risk.

Wow. Okay Special Delivery, I didn't expect that. I was not thinking Eduardo and Lance would do that but greed can make people do the unthinkable. And Luca shocked me with what he did.
Gun Play was my favorite of the two. Carlos is a sick man and his brother the same. I wonder if there's gonna be something after this to tell what he plans to do next.

Now first I'll admit I did read the back synopsis and my brain just didn't process that it would be two different stories. Now with that being the cover page did not make sense for both stories just the first one. The story Special Delivery by Kiki Swinson it was okay, I was intrigued. Nothing really stand out because it was a short story and short stories just don't stand out that much to me. I do feel bad for the girl because she had to sleep with big dirty Carlos but I also felt like she could've avoided that if she told Eduardo. Also were they black in this story because they said n*** a lot? The second story gun Play bu De'Nesha Diamond was really good, I didn't mind the switching of the POVs once you got used to the chapter names and knew who was who. there was some filler chapters that I think was uneeded. But what got to me is the ending. WTF was that when did they swap idenitites? Is Carlos Julian and Julian Carlos? Like was there a face transplant I missed. Then I felt like we just killed off some characters just to kill them off. I feel like these two stories would've been good separately then together.

Special Delivery
Eduardo was to good to be true the whole time he was using Gabriella for greed. But Gab was not dumb and that was a smart move she did knowing that she had a child and to always to be loyal to family
Gunplay
Love Cat and Julian relationship. Thinking Julian lost his memory it was Carlos hit obsession with Cat made him crazy the same thing that happened to his father happened to him wanting something he couldn't have

First story was definitely better than the second.

Story 1- Special Delivery was about Gabriella who mas a mail carrier who ends up in yhe drug game simply because she was overwhelmingly attracted to Eduardo.

Story 2-Gun Play was a little on the unoriginal side. Was almost lije a combination of every drug cartel movie you've seen before. The exception is the twist near the end. That twist rescued the story.

As usual I enjoyed the first story but the second really didn't keep my attention. If I try another of their compilation books I might read the second story first to see if switching the order makes a difference.

First story was interesting and had decent sex. The second story is too long winded, convoluted and poorly written.

Two short stories. The first was pretty good. The second felt like it should have been a full length book. It had a twist and a cliffhanger of an ending.
