Circe All it takes is one wrong choice to change the course of your life forever. It was all planned out; I was going to be someone special. That was me in a nutshell. But, when everything has been in your grasp, how do you live when it all slips away? My life has been a series of bad memories, bad moves, wrong turns and pain. Lots of pain. Then I met him. I thought that pain would be a thing of the past; I guess not. I thought I was living, but I soon found out I was simply surviving until I met him. After years of watching from afar, I realized that there is so much more to him. Wyatt Crown is beautiful to watch, lovely to imagine and a dream come true in the flesh. Every woman knows that. Did they know there are darker, more devilish pieces to his soul? There’s things he can’t show the outside world that is not part of decent society, but, it’s a need he can’t deny.
Wyatt I’m wealthy beyond what I’ll be able to spend, I have a family that cares, I have everything I could ever ask for — yet, I’m alone. There’s a hole in me that can’t be filled. There’s a darkness that can only be fed by depravity. Disguised as loved, it’s my bedfellow of choice. I’m from a family of daredevils. We call ourselves race junkies. I need the roar of the crowd, the rush of pushing limits and most of all — success. My father is, my sister is and my brother too. We race to win. Nothing less is accepted. If I can’t win, there’s no living with me.
This isn’t your sweet, he said/she said, they found true love. This is dirty, dark, twisted and full of partial hope. Don’t expect a happy ending, but if you get it; you can thank me later.
After re-reading this book, I had to change my review. I don't know if I was going through something the first go round or what, but I actually enjoyed it this time. I'm leaving my previous review below as a reminder that some books DO deserve a second chance. This was definitely one of them.
Wyatt - a championship racer, he took advantage of all of the perks his lifestyle offered. His days were filled with women and the fame brought him everything he thought he was looking for... until Circe.
Circe - a woman with a past that haunted her, she preferred to hide in the shadows. But an opportunity forces her into the limelight, catching the eye of the one man who stars in every dirty dream she could imagine. Being the center of Wyatt's attention was a thrill unto itself.
These two were certainly hot together. However, their relationship wasn't easy. Wyatt was a manic depressive and I think the author did a great job of showing us how it rules his life. It explains a lot of his behaviors and I liked how Circe kind of tempered him a bit.
I really enjoyed this author's writing and how this book sets up the further development of her characters. There were a few hiccups with this story's accuracy, such as time discrepancies because from one point to the next it was a few days or a few weeks, but it wasn't enough to discourage me. With one heck of a cliffhanger, I'm looking forward to finding out what happens next and to discovering Circe's truth.

Nope. I've decided that I'm not going to punish the author by leaving a scathing review. So... nope. No to the plot. No to the writing. No to the characters.
It wasn't for me.
This quote is what really got me though...
...petite five eleven frame that dips to a tiny tight waist, which is accented by an overtly voluptuous body that most pay big money for, she’s a pinup in many a boy’s bedrooms.
Who the fluck is petite at 5'11? Who??? I'm barely 5'2 and hate being called petite but that's what I am. At 5'11, she would have to be the skinniest person on earth. Pshaw, tiny tight waist and voluptuous body at 5'11 doesn't sound PETITE to me. How about you?
This is my first read by this author and I loved it so I'll certainly be reading more from her in the future.
Wyatt (Casper) is from a family of daredevils. He's a race junkie and a bad boy. Circe is lovely. She's thrown herself into her job and is trying to forget her past.
Sparks fly when these two meet.
Great storyline that made me just wanna sit & read. As well as fab main characters we have some great secondary characters. Looking forward to reading more of this series.
Brilliant way to start a new series.... CASPER'S GHOST is the first BOOK in the series Crashed and what a way to start a series!!! Kerri Ann has written a book that grabs your attention from he very beginning and will hold your attention until the final word is read. Fast paced, action aplenty - nothing is lacking here.
Wyatt (aka Casper) and Circe, two people who probably should never have met. But when they do - WOW!!!! I could not read fast enough - I needed to know where Kerri Ann was going to take their story. OMG!!!! When she puts a couple together there is no holding back!!!! The fireworks are mostdefinitely exploding with this one.
There are twists and turns that are buried throughout this entire story, so prepare for a rough ride. Your emotionswill be riding one of the largest rollercoasters that you've ever been on. You will feel them all: rage, compassion, empathy, passion, heat and prepare for some tear-jerking moments too, because yes, they're in there as well.
Kerri Ann, you absolutely nailed this one! Magnificent. I cannot wait for the next one. This series is going to be awesome.
5 stars This is my first book by Kerri Ann and I look forward to the next book in this series. The story is riveting and fast paced with a lot of drama and events that keep you turning the pages even though it took a while to connect with the main characters but once I did I was fully involved with their lives.
Wyatt, whose nickname is Casper, is a real live wire, a proper adrenalin junkie. He races bikes for a living and has highs and lows in his life on a daily basis. His Mother doesn't help with his mental health so there are a lot of sparks in there. This makes for an interesting, volatile relationship and doesn't make me feel very kindly towards her.
I love Circe. She is made for Wyatt. They are compatible in every way. She calms Wyatt down and seems to have captured his heart.
There will be tears and heart stopping moments and also some hot, sexy scenes to get your heart beating a bit faster. That ending... OMG! I cannot wait for the second book in the series.
This is the first book in a new series, and my word, what an amazing series this is going to be. Wyatt aka Casper, is from a family of daredevils, and Circe lives her life trying to forget her past. When these two meet the chemistry is explosive. No spoilers from me though!! This is a fast paced, sexy read, which is action packed, with twists & turns, which had me intrigued and hooked from the very beginning. Kerrie has done an awesome job in writing this book, and I cannot wait to read the next book in this amazing series. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book!
This hard-core romance is a fast and addictive read. For the most part, I couldn't wait to find out what happens; it kept me on my toes. It has all the typical parts of a romance: a damaged alpha male, an independent heroine with a secret back story, some seriously hot sex scenes, and a devastating crisis that changes everything, but they are done in such a way that I couldn't put it down. This is not like other romance stories.
Wyatt, nicknamed Casper, is the prince to Crown Industries and wants nothing more than to race anything with wheels and chase the constant high of kinky sex, but he's more than just a playboy. He has deep-seated personal issues that make him intriguing and loveable. Being well-written, I was easily able to connect with him, unlike so many other male leads who are aloof or overly-cocky. Wyatt is fully involved when it comes to Circe, his family, and his racing. His tender side males him a guy you want to know.
Circe is a woman of mystery. Her past is barely alluded to, but you know it's something deep and traumatic. She is just as easy to love as Wyatt. Instead of being a heroine who prostrates herself at his super-star feet, she makes him work for her attention, but also prepares herself to be just another notch in the bedpost without expecting anything more. Already believing that she'll fade away from his attentions, she is surprised when he doesn't want to let her go. She tells him that she is no one's dirty moment and she proves to be right, as he is hooked and she returns the affection.
There are other side characters that make the story what it is. Without China, Wyatt's sister, the story would have been flat, but China adds a perfect amount of sweet and innocent to the story. She's young and still inexperienced in many ways, but she's a vital part of Casper's life and how he gets by. Wyatt's mother, Marca, is a piece of work. She's hard to relate to and most of the time I wondered why she even had children, as it seems that all she does is fight with them. Circe's best friend, Carli, is a riot. She provides a good portion of the humor that is so abundant in the beginning and provides another stellar Carli moment later on that hints towards more of her in the future. I wish there had been more Carli in this book, but I get the feeling that she's going to be sticking around.
The story is a fantastic tale of boy meets girl, boy falls in love, girl falls in love, and tragedy helps bring them together. It is an emotional read, as the author portrays the extreme highs and lows of being bipolar. She does a wonderful job at giving the reader an accurate glimpse at how life altering this disease can be, especially when those individuals go without medication, as many bipolar people tend to do. This leads to a lot of family drama that most readers probably cannot relate to, but will be astounded and drawn in by. Being from a bipolar family, I was stunned by how well it was done and how honest the emotions were. Some scenes between Wyatt and Marca were hard to read, due to this fact. I felt sad and angry at the same time, because they were so intense, but that's how bipolar people can be.
Loving everything by Kerri Ann, it was easy to fall for these characters, too. Even though the book is very fast, I found myself completely immersed in these people. It would have been nice to see a little more of the development of the relationship between Wyatt and Circe. They text for many weeks and they fall in love, but most of it is off scene and more alluded to then actually written. A good deal of the book they spend apart, but when they are together, they fit seamlessly. The sex was hot and is chock full of dirty details. So, prepare yourself for some highly erotic love scenes. They are graphic, but titillating and I did not skip them, like I do in many other books.
For the rating:
Genre and general reading age - romance and definitely for mature readers. Level of sexuality - very high. This book is far from overflowing with sex, but it is extremely detailed. Be ready for some steamy love scenes that might make you blush. Is there graphic language? You betcha. You can't have an adrenaline junkie hero without a good dose of swearing. Refreshingly, even Circe swore and she's far from a damsel in distress. Is it part of a series? Yes, it is book one. It leaves you with a huge cliffhanger and I'm already anxious to read what happens next. This is one series I'll be keeping a close eye on. Did I laugh? Many times. Both main characters are highly entertaining, but Circe is extremely fun to read. Her best friend gIves the book the much-needed levity it needs, since it has so much heavy emotion to go with it. Level of character development - I found them to be consistent and enticing. There is obvious personal growth for Wyatt that is wonderful to read and Circe is a damaged woman, but she is an enormous strength that holds them together.
I loved this book. When it comes to reviewing romance, I'm hard to please. Too many stories are cookie-cutter, but Crashed is unique. From humorous start to jaw-dropping ending, I was sucked in. This book more than deserves its ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars. I highly recommend this quick and exciting read for all romance readers who are looking for new characters to fall in love with. I know I fell in love with them.
While I wasn't sure what to expect from Crashed and I had a hard time getting into the first half of the book, then it really started to pick up. As a first in the series, there's a lot of set up with Wyatt and his family, with who is playing what role at the moment.
For some reason I didn't connect right away with Wyatt. Sure the guy has some issues and "needs", however what he did to quiet the noise got real old, real fast. Reading on, the more information given about Wyatt and his situation, I started leaning towards the liking him side. Once he fell for the girl, then I really hoped he was a guy that could turn over a new leaf.
The book has an interesting storyline in there somewhere. While I'm not a fan of insta-love or the leopard changing his spots so quickly, I do want to see what becomes of this racer and his family. Everybody seems to have a little something something going on in the background as well. The book ends on a wicked cliffhanger, which was also not one of my favorite things about it, but count me in for round two.
I am really not sure how to write my review for Crashed, this is my first time reading a book by this author but I can tell you that it won’t be my last. I am not a fan of race car driving but I sure did feel the rush and burn of it from this book. This first book was such a fabulous way to start this series off. I was hooked at the very start of this book and perhaps it has to do with the authors descriptive words and that opening scene.
The story is just like a NASCAR race. It is fast-paced, exhilarating and packed with action and some really steamy scenes. We are introduced to Wyatt (Casper) and Circe, two people who live for the race but each coming from different worlds. Wyatt lives for the thrill of the race, fast cars and the bonus of the added women. He loves things fast but that’s not all to this bad boy. Circe is a very driven character, she loves her career, the race and has a huge heart. When these two meet things happen very quickly, there is a connection that can be felt right away. I am not a fan of instant love but for some reason Wyatt and Circe’s relationship just felt natural.
What really sold me on this story was that there was more than sex between the main characters. Wyatt hides behind his bad boy fame. What he hides is the very volatile and unnatural relationship he as with his family. What he has with Circe brings him peace and tranquility to his very chaotic life. The author happens to bring two completely different people together and makes it work! I did not expect the many twists, turns and tears I shed while reading this book and those feelings were an added bonus. My emotions were everywhere. Be prepared to get angry, sad, happy, frustrated and startled with every page. I can’t wait to get my hands on the next book in this series. Let me tell there is an entire family of Jamison’s that have a story to tell and boy does it look like some good stories.
Casper’s Ghost is the first book in the Crashed series and was a great 5 star read.
We learn quickly that Wyatt (Casper) likes to go fast and is quite the daredevil. In fact all of his siblings like to live on the edge. I’ve grown up in this life of ‘need for nothing, ask for all.’ Wyatt is cocky, confident, hot and what he does to women in bed, WOW.
Sex is my drug. My need for it is so strong, I literally can’t function without it.
When Circe interviews Casper after his race win she gets his FULL attention. My toy is getting a workout tonight Circe was great, I had some LOL moments with her. Her past has her being cautious around Casper. When he finally gets her in bed watch out. He finds that he want’s more from her. Will Circe give him what he wants? Can they make a relationship work?
There is so much more to this great read. Be prepared for a roller coaster of emotions. The secondary characters were great, my favorite was Doll. I didn’t care so much for his mother, she was a biatch with a lot of issues. Circe was great helping with Wyatt’s bipolar, this is a serious topic that was handled well in the story. I had some teary eyed moments but overall this was a great read. I highly suggest you 1-click and get started today.

Set in the high octane world of racing - car, bike and snow boarding the Crown family are competing, adrenalin junkies that masquerade in front of the public eye as the perfect family yet behind closed doors have many dark secrets. Wyatt Crown, the younger brother, was never meant to race bikes yet he craves the rush. Insanely talented he constantly battles his demons, awakened by his mother's, by feeding their dark desires with sexual deviance and promiscuity. Hungry always for more Wyatt is insatiable in the bedroom and out on the track. After an amazing win an unlikely lady catches his eye...
Circe, hiding her own traumatic past, she loses herself to her work. Infatuated by the bad boy racer she is suddenly up close and personal, asking the most intuitive question of her career. Highlighting herself is something she avoids at all costs usually and yet something about him makes her throw caution to the wind. Can she take a chance on him or is he too much of a risk?
Crashed is a fast paced, adrenaline filled read. With sex, passion and mental health issues that cause so much heart ache the story line has much more weight to it than expected. With a lot of drama and sorrow I feel this is the start to an amazing series. I really want to explore the dark demons that control Wyatt and his mother more, as the scenes of them both having an up day made this story for me. It was a beautiful moment in the darkness of grief that really shone through. A great blend of sexual attraction and romance made Circe and Wyatt a great couple. I can't wait to read more about the Crown family.
This is such an intense, and amazing read, that I'm going to just give a brief description before I free my dramatic girly girl emotions on everyone. Wyatt Crown, aka Casper, is the epitome of a mouth watering alpha, chalk full of tendencies that fall towards the jerk side of the spectrum. Circe 's life is a series of bad memories, and bad choices leading to wrong turns that has left her with serious pain. So she pours everything she has left into her job. When the meet, well let's just say the fun begins. I stayed on the edge of my seat, and absolutely LOVED every minute of it. Not only did I LOVE Casper and Circe, but the colorful cast of secondaries added even more depth to an already deep story. AND, they added some well placed humor that had me laughing hard. Kerri Ann has a talented writing style that's highly addicting, as she instantly caught my attention, and held it fully until the very end. Twists and turns around every corner had me dropping loud f-bombs right and left. The angst filled pages had me feeling everything little thing like it was my own life, while the FIERY HOT sexy scene goodness, with panty destroying heat, nearly short circuited my kindle. But one thing I really want to touch on, is how realistically the highs and lows of bipolar disorder were portrayed. I CANNOT WAIT for the next book in this AMAZING series, so all that is left is to HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND this wonderful piece of awesome that is Casper's Ghost to EVERYONE!
What an introductory to a new series. This book had me in its hooks from the very beginning. Kerri Ann did such a great job and as a new to me author, I can say I can't wait to get my hands on more. You will not want to put this book down for even a minute once you start reading, just a warning. THIS BOOK HAS IT ALL!!!
The fireworks and chemistry between the two characters when they are together is off the charts. These two were meant for each other. Wyatt show everyone one side of him but there are things brewing inside and Circe calms the storm within him.
Wyatt lives for the thrill of driving, the fast cars and the even faster women that come from the previous things. Meanwhile, Circe is driven about her career and forgetting her past. Her heart is so huge. She is such a caring person and it made it pretty impossible for Wyatt not to fall for her. They had an instant connection as it there was something drawing them to one another. I absolutely loved their relationship.
Reading their story unfold will have you completely engrossed throughout the whole book, trying to figure out how it will all play out. Kerri Ann did a great job on giving us a story that although smoking hot, it wasn't all about what goes on between the sheets. I love a book that has a great story and this one was awesome! You will experience so many emotions reading this that you better just hold onto your seats and enjoy the ride. I highly recommend this book and can't wait for the next one!
Five Exciting Stars! Wyatt aka Casper likes to do everything fast. He races anything with wheels for his families's company Crown Industries and he is a playboy with a mother who is not to good for his mental health. Circe has had a traumatic past and finds herself getting lost in her work. She sees Wyatt and is intrigued. Circe makes him work for her attention but she knows that she will give in easily. Will Circe take a chance with Wyatt? The author writes a well written novel that kept me on the edge of my seat throughout the whole book. The author does an excellent job with writing about mental illness. I loved Wyatt and Circe! You will go on an rollercoaster ride of emotions as you read. I felt angry, sad, and also felt their passion for one another. This is a fast paced story that will capture your attention from the start to the finish that you do not want to miss out on! I highly recommend this book!
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. This book was read and reviewed by Annamaria for Alpha Book Club.
"Casper's an aphrodisiac. To me he's dangerous. No, to many a woman he's dangerous. To me, he's a reminder of the dangers of my past."
Exhilaratingly addictive, Wyatt Crown aka "Casper" is hotness on wheels, but like most fabulous book alphas, a colossal jerk, until.......
Insert an unlikely romance, life altering events, seriously sexy scenes, you're left with a movie-like saga dropping your jaw with a story line of epic proportions. I sat devouring this book, jaw-dropped, salivating, dying to know what happens. You know a series is going to be good when you sit and contemplate all the characters and wanting to know their stories too. I'm hooked and can't wait for more!! I thank the Author for providing a copy to review!!
"He's the planet and I'm the comet in orbit, circling. I'm being pulled deeper, and deeper with no option but to fall to the pull of his gravity."
I don't know where to start or what to write because no matter how many times I think about it or how to write as there are no words that will justify how extraordinary this book is. Kerri takes you on a journey that is nothing less than amazing. Crashed is fast paced with plenty of drama that will keep you turning the pages until to the end. There were tears shed whilst reading this book. I virtually couldn't see the words, my heart shattered into tiny pieces. I was on a roller coaster ride with so many emotions sadness, angry, loss and heart broken. I absolutely love Wyatt aka Casper ⬅️ he's mine and Circe aka Siren. The sexual chemistry between Wyatt and Circe is sizzling hot, steamy and sexy that will leave your panties wet. Kerri is a tremendous writer that draws her readers into her books and makes you feel connected to the characters. I can not wait for the next book in the series. I highly recommend this book and you won't be disappointed.
It's been awhile since a read a normal romance book and figured for my sanity I had better grab one. So this book came along and I'm glad I took the chance to read it. It is very well written with plenty of everything to keep you hooked up to this book like it is your lifeline ha!
It follows a family that are famous for racing in varying degrees. No everything is not as it seems and yes there is a whole canyon of a cliffhanger at the end!
The writing itself is clear and descriptive and if I'm honest I loved some of the issues that are touched upon in this book but I feel there is a lot more to come yet.
There are characters of all variety in here and you're sure to ‘bond’ with at least one of them.
Omg! I am in jaw dropping shock right now. This ends with a doozy of a cliffhanger that will leave you dazed. Put your seat belt on & get ready for a roller coaster ride of emotions. A decadently delicious novel that is sexy spicy & sinfully devourable with a bit of humour. Fall in love with this beautifully written & developed novel with no plot holes. With compelling characters that are realistic with real emotions and flaws. With twists & turns you won't see coming. I need book two now. A must read definitely worth one-clicking. Be prepared for the tear-jerkering moments too. Perfect start to a brilliant series that leaves you breathless I volunteerily reviewed an advanced reading copy of this book.
Kerri Ann completely swept me away with this book. I was on the edge of my seat from the first page until the last.
Wyatt Crown, better know as Casper, is from a family of daredevils. Circe lived her life mostly through her job trying to forget her past. OH, but wait until they meet....
This story is filled with deep emotion, sexy scenes, and twists and turns that keep you wanting to know what is next.
Do yourself a favor and pick this one up!
Kerri Ann, I can't wait until the next one in this series.
Crashed takes off on a fast-paced track and just keeps going, but hey there's racing involved so why not.
You meet Wyatt who tends to have a 'who cares' attitude but meets his match in Circe, his Siren. You can feel the pull between them when they first meet and know some hot interactions are on their way.
There was a moment of heartbreak, laughter, and family tension that you could feel pulsing from the pages as you read. The scenes between Wyatt and Circe are hot. I can't wait to see what happens next in this series!
I really did enjoy 'Crashed', it's the first book I've read by Kerri Ann and will definately be looking for more, first up will be part 2 of this book. I loved the plot and characters, I'm looking forward to more books that include the other characters stories.
This is the story of Wyatt, a champion Motorcycle Racer, and Circe, a Sports News Producer. He's a player and she is hiding from the world. A one night stand leads to more and tragedy draws them closer.
Reviewed for Amo and Sarah's Book Corner.
I received a copy of this book in return for an honest review.
I received and voluntary reviewed an ARC of this book. This book was read and reviewed by Stacy Aube for Cutting Muse Blog Review.
I was in a trance when I read this and didn't realize I finished in a few short hours. I love when a book grabs hold and doesn't let go. All the characters in this are deeply flawed but highly addicting. I will be patiently awaiting the next book.
this was another amazing book you wrote! its about a man who has a dark past that is only releived through sex or booze. he meets a woman who has demons of her own . together sparks fly. thanks for giving me a chance to read this book!
Oh my goodness, Kerri did it again! This book is fantastic! I loved every minute of it. I only put it down because I couldn't keep my eyes open. I love how it is so fast paced, just like the characters, it fits perfectly. I'm dying to read the next one. I'm sure it will be another nail biter.
I could not put it down. Excellent read. I really enjoyed this book, can't wait for the next in the series. I was provided a complimentary copy of this book so I could give an honest review.
I have to say this is actually the first time I have read from author Kerri Ann. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the synopsis of this book is what me to wanting to read it. It sounded intense, intriguing, and different from what I'm used to reading.
This book was definitely from what I usually read. And although it is marked as a dark romance, I have definitely read darker and dirtier. Though don't get me wrong there are dark elements in this book.
I really liked Wyatt, aka Casper, and Circe's characters they were both strong and dealing with their own demons. I don't want to give anything away, but I definitely felt for Wyatt in this book. Also Circe is very kind of mysterious, you know something has happened in her past, but you really don't get idea of what it is until the very end.
I thought that this book was very enjoyable and definitely had gripping moments. It definitely had me keep turning the pages and wanting to know more. I have to say I couldn't stand Casper's mom through most of this book and didn't really understand her and her kids dynamics through most of the book, until it was explained towards the end. WARNING: this book does end in a cliffy. So if you're not a fan of cliffies you may want to hold off on reading this until the next one comes out.
I'm giving this book 4.5 Stars out of 5 and can't wait for the next one!!!!
***I received an ARC of this book for my honest opinion***
Crashed: Casper’s Ghost: Volume 1 by Kerri Ann a fab four-star read. This is the first book in the Crown and Anchor series and wow it’s a great start, the ending will have you floored I can’t wait for book 2. I have read other work by Kerri Ann and they have been well written and planned making good reads that have you hooked and this one follows those other reads. The back characters of this story are just as good as the main people, they keep you entertained and hooked on the story from page to page. This story deals with issues and shows you how people deal with life and health issues and some don’t deal they just live. Wyatt Crown is more commonly known as Casper he is the prince to the Crown industries but he just wants to race, he doesn’t care what he races as long as it has wheels. He is what I would lovingly call a speed junkie, in the best way possible. He’s hotter than hell and has a body that would leave your mouth watering. He also has a side to him that leaves you knowing there is a depth to him, that makes him real and makes you fall a little in love with him. Circe Maco is a journalist, she is reporting at the Isle of Mann TT races, and even that gets my heart pumping every year, she knows the history and risks involved as does everyone who has seen all of the memorials along the route. When she gets the chance to interview Casper she knows she has a chance, but a chance at what? This isn’t your normal hearts and flowers romance, it deals with issues and people and real life. It shows us a side to ourselves we may not be willing to see, but it’s a read that you need in your life.
Crashed by Kerri Ann is a book about what you do t see behind closed doors.
Wyatt, otherwise known as Casper, lives a privileged lifestyle. Born into a family of racers he loves going fast especially when he's racing his motorcycle. Even with all that privilege, he leads a hard life. He and his mother only seem to have one thing in common, the mood swings that come with being a manic depressive.
The other members of his family, especially his father are the buffers that keep things from getting out of control between the two of them.
Circe has gone out of her way to distance herself from the privileged lifestyle she once lead. She has her reasons and demons of her own to deal with.
It started with an interview. The next thing you know, Casper is becoming a one woman man and Circe is trying her best to keep up with him.
I had a bit of a hard time getting into this book, but once I did I was hooked. I mean what girl doesn't want to be the one to tame the bad boy?
I loved watching the two of them do what they needed to to keep the relationship going. I would have liked to have seen a little more though.
The book skipped a lot of time and it seemed like one minute they were just texting each other and the next they were in a full blown relationship. It really noticeable where Wyatt's family was concerned.
That was really the only complaint I have about the book. I felt really invested in the characters. All the characters not just Wyatt and Circe. I'm excited for the story to continue in the next book.
Casper's Ghost by Kerri Ann was a fierce ride. There was fire, there was ice, there was pain, and there was definitely darkness. Wyatt, as twisted as he thought he was my heart ached for him. Will he be able to fight his darkness to win his light? Will one race, one instant, change everything?
Circe, well that woman deserves a metal! She is a force to be reckoned with in her own right. I just wish we got to see more of her grit, more of her sass. Will her light be able to force the darkness back? Can she stand up to and fight for Casper?
I really enjoyed this book, the cliffy...well not so much. I was lucky enough to have Siren's Call on hand so it wasn't so bad. I wish some plot twists were better explained. In this case, in my opinion, more details were needed to make the book a 5 star read.
