These stories were great to read, except for the latter portion of William Cowper's life because it was depressing to learn the deep depression he faced. But all four Christian Heroes, Horatio Spafford, Philip P. Bliss, William Cowper, and Frances Havergal were contemporaries of each other. I'm very pleased with Mrs. Phillips' work.
