I received this book willingly from the author (and can't wait to see if there's more to this story of the Bleeding Hearts).
I loved this book, I could not put it down. I kept wanting to see what was going to happen to Nalia and Owen. Nalia is a struggling musician living in the California area trying to catch a break. Her roommate and best friend Grace happens to have an in with a personnel agency and gets her an interview. Turns out it's being an assistant on the road touring with a band - The Bleeding Hearts. Nalia cannot believe her luck. She's soo nervous when she goest to the agency for the interview. To her surprise sitting behind the desk is none other than Owen, the lead singer of The Bleeding Hearts. He's even more hot and steamy in person.
Turns out Nalia has the same effect on Owen as he has on her. The chemistry is hot, but the tour bus is very crowded and the tour life is not as desirable as she had hoped.
How will things work out between Nalia and Owen? I'm sorry but you will just have to read it for yourself!
Nalia is an out of work assistant. She is an aspiring singer.
Owen owns a record label and is a lead singer in a band.
When Owen promised his brother that the band will get back together and do a tour if he goes to rehab and gets clean, he has to make good on his promise. Now Owen needs to find an assistant to help with the tour because he cannot do it all. He still has to run a Record Label from the road and be the frontman for the band.
After interviewing 3 potential assistants Nalia is the only one not STAR STRUCK and who has her crap together enough to even offer her the position.
So honestly, I have mixed feelings on this book. I feel like it has been done a million times. Nalia & Owen became involved way to soon and then Nalia had an issue and just decided that she could not deal without even speaking to Owen. Typical female before if you ask me. Jump to conclusions, avoid confrontation then run away. It has happened in a lot of these types of stories.
I did like Owen’s character and that he was not your typical ROCKSTAR. He did not sleep with fans and random girls and was a hard worker. He took care of his brother as much as he could. I also, did not like that Nalia’s past was only the last chapter of the book. We have no idea what her life was like. And they say she has nothing keeping her in LA no family or job but then we meet her brother who lives in LA. So that was a bit of a contradiction.
I read this book as a bonus within "Billionaire Beast". and have voluntarily submitted this review.
This so sweet and sappy, it had me reading all night. A lead vocals of a band that had decided on a come back, after five years, off the charts, was also the CEO of a recording label, that had made him a Billionaire., was concerned about the stress the upcoming road trip would put on him, if he had to juggle both record label and tour co-ordination. The idea of a administration person, on tour to do the following up work was touted, and women interviewed. Nalia was the person who caught his eye when reviewing resumes and she was the one that shone through the interview. However, his interest was in the woman, as much as the administrator side of things. They had a buzz between them, but the madness of groupies , time schedules and lack of privacy in a bus with 4 band members and this one girl may be the hardest thing either of them had done. As I started of this piece, it really is a fantastic story.
I read this from Google Play Books because it's free at the moment. The format is not good, seems like an independent publishing. The story also plain and not much twist.
Great read. Owen is not only a rockstar but owns his own record company. With getting back on tour, Owen needs help and gets an assistant that will change his life. Nalia wants more then anything to be a musician and accepts the job to be an assistant to The Bleeding a heart band and never thought she would find love. I liked reading Owen and Nalia story, characters were great and the ending was perfect
I voluntarily reviewed this Advanced Reader Copy of this book
I enjoyed this book very much. I chose this rating because this was a pretty good book. The other books in this box set was pretty good as well. In the Rock Star the characters were very close and in love a close unit of great friends. Overall all the books were great. I loved them all. I recommend this book to all romance readers.
I picked a 3 out of 5 stars simply because at times it was way to rushed. There should have been more relationship build up. It didn't seem realistic. With that being said, it's a book. They aren't real. I only read rock star billionaire. There are more than that. I'm off to see if it has a series for that one alone.
Nothing really stands out about this book, it is a fairly simplistic romance story set around the glamour of a rock bands tour. There are the usual ups and downs between boy and girl and that is all there is to it. Fairly unassuming simple story not a particularly good read.
It was great I loved the characters I want to know the other band members this book can become a series if the Author wanted to. I loved the bonus books also so it was a great surprise.
Nalia is a singer looking for a gig but with no luck she gets a job with sexy billionaire named Owen as his assistant. While on the road together things get hot, but Nalia is worried about Owen And she knows the rock star ways. Can Owen be true to just her?
Loved this story. Owen and Nalia both feel more than they want to for each other. The author does a fantastic job making the characters into "real" people, not just stereotypical romance 2-D types
Nalia and Owen meet when she applies to be a tour manager/assistant for his rock band. Owen, however, has seen her online page and pictures and fantasies about her late at night. He has placed a firm rule in place for his band that any assistant he hires is off limits. Owen finds it hard to stick to his own rules!
