“The longer you stay the more powerful the spell to keep you there will become. You both could be trapped in that building forever.”
Three beautiful females, Delf, Shorn and Serena, are unaware of their magical abilities until the Calling. After which, they become the most powerful source of magic the world has ever known. They become the Witch Trinity. Their purpose? Save the planet!
Unfortunately, things don’t go as planned. An ancient witch, known as the Crow, sets out to destroy them.
It becomes a race against time with not only Serena’s life hanging in the balance, but the entire human race…

Serena and Simon are just a couple in love, or are they? When Simon looks for an ancient book, Serena is seeing things that can't b explained. What does it all have to do with the calling and the Witch Trinity, more than you might think. This is a magical book that I think readers will find enjoyable, this is just part one and a quick read, but I have a feeling a lot more surprises, magic and mystical adventured lie ahead. This book is well written and I think the author has a lot to share that readers will find interesting.

It's a book with a very simple writing that you can easily read it. It's a story about three witches that together form a powerful Trinity, the plot is not that complicate at all and action takes place in modern days so if you enjoy a modern, actual supernatural story this is the book for you.
This novel breaks new ground and brings a new lease of life to an ancient set of beliefs. Witchcraft and magic are explored in an exhilarating and informative way. They bring truth to the craft, as well as a unique set of characters and rules. What I love about this novel is that we are given a brief introduction. Which not only includes information about the story, but some interesting facts regarding the history of witchcraft. They perfectly set the theme and mood before the riveting tale even begins to unfold.
Speaking of which. We have a modern day couple meeting to find an engagement ring, when Simon brings an old spell book called Agrippa, to Serena's dismay. He was supposed to be focusing on their day of shopping for the perfect engagement ring, not some spell book. But his obsession with this magical tome becomes more than a little inconvenient and more of a danger when it unleashes hell in more ways than one. The element of the supernatural is intertwined perfectly in a modern day scenario of a romantic couple. We have plenty of high suspense moments and adrenaline throughout part one, giving you no choice but to read the next one. You are spell-bound to carry on.
The tale flows well, starting slow and building characters and a back story. But it doesn't take long for things to go awry and have us gasping and holding our breath!
Forget glittery vampires in Twilight, or wizardry in Harry Potter, this novel sets a new standard for the supernatural fiction genre. It really makes us believe that there could be a coven of witches hiding in reality. A bunch of women casting spells, some bad, some good, hiding among us in plain sight, dressed normally and without eccentricities in their personality. In fact, the element of realism in Witch Trinity is so excellent, I believe it is what makes this novel so superb. We can imagine ourselves in some of the scenes, going about our normal day and then thrust into a whole new world that you had no idea existed. A new level of consciousness that has its appeals, but also comes with threats.
If you love the supernatural genre, this is for you. But if you fancy something different and are thinking of breaking from your usual reads, this is the book to do it with. After this you'll be hooked, dying for more.
Witch Trinity - The Calling: Book One (ebook) by David Jones (Goodreads Author)
I love fantasy stories about witches and magic. And this one has it all! The first part of a series, the story unfolds fast but always leaving clues for the stories to come....Love the characters and how the author switches from one perspective to another, like watching a scene from different angles! Can't wait for book two!!!!!
This story had me intrigued from start to end. Witch Trinity introduced a new twist on witchcraft and magic, which kept the story interesting and flowing.
Witch Trinity started off from the perspective of the main character, Serena. Her character was down to earth and relatable which made the story that much more enjoyable.
I enjoyed how the author switched views during the telling of the story because it brought us a deeper understanding of the story. The book also defined “witch trinity” and laid the groundwork very well to set up the next book in the series. This definitely leaves the reader wanting more and anticipating book two!
