This is real Dystopian story telling right here. If you want stories from different authors about messed up worlds, crap gone wrong, mind screw, etc kinds of reads this is the box set for you. the third book (Immortal) in this series was some freaky crazy chaos mental instability crap! I wanted to quit but I couldn't. I got mad, hopeful, angry but I had to know what happened in the end. This ended up being the best book in this collection. The ending still has me scratching my head. This is not really for romance readers but I'm a romance reader and I enjoyed it in a love/hate sort of way.
No thanks ! Gave this collection my best but it never really jelled for me, I found some of the stories boring beyond words. Had to force my way through several other stories. Too bad. I just found the long walks described between any action or significant events just lost my attention. Some others gave this collection excellent reviews, I wish I could have done the same but not this time around. I will perhaps give this collection another try in a year or so.
This isn't my usual genre of reading. But, nine books so I took a chance. It turned out to be fun reading. Some were out there but all in all it was a good read.
One good thing about box sets is you get to meet new authors.
