I didn't buy this book, rather read it while I was in the gym waiting for a basketball court to open (gym was selling it on the book rack)...

Beginners of calisthenics can start off with way better workouts than this book provides, as it's pretty limited, even for beginners.

Perhaps this book is good for geriatrics or people suffering obesity, otherwise there are way, way better beginner calisthenics books.

Also, worth noting: All of illustrations in this book are easily found for free on most calisthenics PDF charts. Save your money on this book, and just use Google.

Superb Resource!

What a great guide! After 50 years as a gym rat, I needed to read that calisthenics are legit! This guide covers it all. Whole body! I read the Kindle version but I’ll buy the print version in order to have it with me at the Family-Y where I have access to perfect mat areas for a lot of these upper & lower body exercises. Strongly recommend for ANYONE, gym rat or not!!

The book was informative to get me started and motivated me to try calisthenics even more. I will continue body weight training and the book was useful to give me all the reasons for why I should move into calisthenics
