Four seasons. That’s how long Angela Donovan hoped to know Mark Shafer before they married. But less than a year later, she still fears repeating the mistakes of her previous failed relationship. As Christmas approaches, she senses Mark’s plans for a proposal and wonders if she can learn to trust again.
Mark has learned all there is to know about the Shafer miracle trees—or so he thinks. Papa reveals secrets about the trees’ matchmaking power just as a highway expansion threatens to destroy the family legacy. Mark is determined to save the farm and the promise of love stirring in the branches of the Shafer miracle trees.
Heartwarming and engaging, The Tree Keeper’s Promise captures the warmth and wonder of the holiday season.
This sequel didn't disappoint. The intriguing story answers all the questions and finishes the story of Angela and Mark. Well written with twists and turns which keeps the story moving. The characters are true and the setting is beautiful. Wonderful read.
I loved this continuation of The Christmas Tree Keeper story. I was so happy that we got to read more about Mark and Angela’s relationship and get to read more about all of the other wonderful characters. There were emotional parts in this story and many heartwarming moments. I love Caroline, she is so hopeful and joyful. There were a few surprises, some scary parts, and love all around. I loved how this story ended and when Angela said “The trees and you-this life and our love-will always be a glorious wonder to me.”
This book was a cute and sweet sequel to The Christmas Tree Keeper. I love how this book develops not only a romantic relationship, but many familial relationships and friendships as well. The messages of hope and love and miracles made it the perfect book to read during the holiday season. I definitely recommend it for a quick and sweet winter read!! ♥️
A beautiful love story . I enjoyed reading it. I would recommend it to anyone who likes a good read without the graphic language and content. I hope to read more books from this author.
If you are looking for a romantic book to read with a great story, this is it! Tamara Passey is an awesome author. I can hardly wait for her next book.
I enjoyed this story as much as the first. The characters were delightful and the story interesting and enjoyable. Nice easy to read and loved the aspect of the trees.
I loved this book as much as the first! The Tree Keeper's Promise continues the story of Angela and Mark and delves a little deeper into their relationship where they find they must overcome a few hurdles. Although reading The Christmas Tree Keeper is recommended before reading this book, it's certainly not necessary in order to follow the story. In fact, the author does a great job of filling in any blanks without being too overt, which can be difficult to do. I love the charm of this setting--a Christmas tree farm in the northeast-- as well as the realistic characters and conflicts. Another winner from Tamara Passey!
The Tree Keeper's Promise is another beautifully written book by Tamara Passey that you won't want to miss! It is about love, hope, trust, and forgiveness centered around a Christmas tree farm in Massachusetts. It will keep you interested from the first page to the last! A must read for the holidays along with Book 1, The Christmas Tree Keeper! I read it last year and loved it and read it again this year before reading the sequel. Wonderful, heartwarming books!
Angela Donovan loves Mark Shafer, the Tree Keeper, but can she trust him to keep her heart safe? She thinks she will know if they get to know each other over 4 seasons but will she? As Christmas draws close again there are complications that get in the way of the future, like the highway that threatens to eat up the tree farm. Mark must find a way to save his beloved tree farm and his future with Angela.
Not as good as the first book but still a good story.
The sequel to The Christmas Tree Keeper, this book takes place a year later, focusing more on Angela and Mark's relationship. This is a sweet and clean romance novel.
If you're looking for a quick, feel-good book, you would enjoy this.
