Ryan Graudin was born in Charleston, South Carolina, with a severe case of wanderlust. When she’s not traveling, she’s busy writing and spending time with her husband and wolf dog. She is the author of Invictus, the Wolf By Wolf duology, The Walled City, and the All That Glows Series.
Thanks to some amazing girl named Brittany, I finally got my hands on this little beauty and I am so excited to say it was worth the wait.
Adele was a great background character, but I really enjoyed getting up and personal with her. I wouldn't have minded a little novel on her and her struggle to get to where she was in the races. Being the only girl and not letting her brother hold her back and then falling in love with the competition (if she really ever did, one can't be really sure).. it all sounds like a really great read to me. But I will be satisfied with this little clip.
This is a short little story about Adele during her captivity. Throughout the duology Adele is kind of a background figure, the reader never really gets to know her. She's a bit of a mystery to everyone and this helped to shed some light on her character during the time of Wolf by Wolf. I really enjoyed getting to see Adele and her personality. It was a great short story to put some clarification on Adele's story.
This was a really cool little short story that brings Adele, the real Adele, out of the background to show what she really went through while Yael was pretending to be her. Several escape attempts and the strange sensation of seeing herself through the TV screen really brought this character to life. I loved seeing how she really felt about things, since in impersonating her Yael could only guess. I hope she becomes a main character in Blood For Blood.
Shout out to the beautiful and kind soul on LiveJournal who was able to get this to me. You're a real one.
This was short. Doesn't particularly add that much to the series. But it was interesting to see a little bit more about Adele. Honestly, kind of wish she were more of a main character.
Storm After Storm breaks down Adele Wolfe's character. She isn't merely an unfeeling hardass who won the Axis Tour. She's a woman who's terrified of being pigeonholed into the role as wife and mother. This short story, brings emotion to the badass Adele Wolfe.
