"An explosion of verbal fireworks Adorno might have envisioned on a dark night." Ann Lauterbach "A tantalizing wacky, ideological treat for ears & what minds 'em." Charles Bernstein
I was just reading about Stacy Doris today, but I forget how, and I forget why. Anyway, this collection feels somewhat ahead of its time but also feels a little stuck in that mid-90s cybernetic utopianism that feels so odd in Shaviro or Baudrillard in hindsight. People had a lot of optimism in MUDs I guess. Anyway, another poetry collection that made me laugh in the silence of my room and in the silence of a SEPTA car, so that's always something.
