Escaping to Fairimorr proves to be more daunting than either had counted on, and when they arrive at their destination, they don’t receive the warm welcome they expected. With a new, foreign world ahead of her, Joey is faced with new challenges and obstacles that she never dreamed she’d ever have to face. Her human upbringing puts her at a disadvantage, which those she now comes into contact with don’t even begin to understand. She must choose whether life in Fairimorr is worth the sacrifices she’s made, or if she’ll find a way to escape back to Earth. All the while Joey learns to trust her instincts to survive, and not all of them are human instincts. And when her world feels like it’s tearing apart, she is faced with the question that her heart needs answered: does she truly belong with Kev, as his mate?

Wow, just wow! I really loved the relationship between Kev and Joey in book 1, but I adored them in book 2! I loved experiencing this new world and the shifter culture Joey needed to learn. Wrenched my heart right out of my chest when they were separated due to a pack feud (a twist on the Romeo and Juliet theme that I always love). Then that ending--a twist that makes me want to immediately dive into book 3, which I'm glad now that I had the foresight to buy already. Overall great writing, great read, one to pass along to others. Now, leave me alone so I can go back to Fairmorr! LOL

Joette and Kev are on the run and Joey's weregal side grows stronger. Escaping to Fairimorr should be their solution but it proves to be more daunting and harder than they thought. A foreign world and left alone, Joey must learn who she can trust and how to live her new life, meeting people she never thought she would meet. Her up bringing as a human is putting Joey at a disadvantage. While Joey's world is falling apart she must learn to trust her instincts. Is Fairimorr worth it? Is Joey going to be able to learn everything that she needs to to survive.
If you read my review of Perfect Scents you'll already know how much I loved it and the Weregals, you'll probably guess at how Whitewash went for me. Just imagine me trying to read, while hiding from an evil kitten and the world and all the annoying things that real life requires. Basically I did not sleep that night. Or really all of the nights that I stayed up reading the Weregal Chronicals because that was the only way I was going to get this read. But I will warn you now, Heather Karn has a way with cliffhangers and I was so incredibly lucky that the third book released only hours after I finished Whitewash. What did I love about Whitewash? That's basically asking me which character I love the post or even which book is my favourite. It isn't possible. I can't wait for you all to meet Chester!
'*I'm what?* I shrieked, rising to my feet too fast fir my new form. I smacked the wall with my backside as I moved to face everyone. Looking over my shoulder to check my spacing, I saw what they'd been staring at.'
