The complete series of On My Knees, a twelve book Alpha Billionaire Romance series by CJ Thomas.
Alex didn’t know that the bag of money she found on the side of the street would bring such trouble.
If she would have seen the dangers lurking around the corner just waiting, she never would have spent the hundreds of thousands of dollars. And when her life is threatened, she has to make the decision of a lifetime—die, or repay the rightful owner.
If she decides to live, she will need a way to get the money. And Kendra might just have the quick solution she needs. However, becoming a highly paid escort wasn’t exactly how she saw her future. And when her male suiter is none other than billionaire film maker, Nash Brooks, who also happens to be a member of the exclusive L.A. night club, MINT, Alex might have entered a world she can’t escape.
Mature audience only. 18+
This box set also includes the full-length novel, Heat, for your continued enjoyment.

Alex is a film student trying to make her way up to the big leagues. She first went the route of acting (in high school) the decided to switch things to the other side of the camera. For her working in the industry was a dream for herself, as well as a way of paying respect to her parents. She lost both of her parents in a car accident, and they struggled to make it in Hollywood but it never panned out.
Nash is a big time movie producer/director. He's got an attitude of arrogance and manwhore, I seriously disliked his introduction. He loves to take an intern under his wing, and put them on their knees.
If you've read any of these books in this series, you know that these are supposed to be 'love stories' in a loose translation but I just didn't feel it with Alex and Nash. Even through to the end of the book Alex felt as though she was lucky to be with Nash and owed him everything...and Nash didn't really let you think his feelings towards Alex were any different. There were hints that his feelings were growing, but his actions certainly didn't follow.
All in all, not a bad book...still left a lot of questions. Like for one, his daughter? WTF...you never hear anything more about that crap. Okay read, something to pass the time. I wouldn't recommend to a friend though.
There were many things I liked about this story and I was very intrigued with it for possibly the first half. But like a movie or a play that goes on too long and you begin looking at your watch or the playbill, to try and figure out how much longer it's going to go on, it lost me about midway. Some things rambled on too long and others were resolved without any explanation. (i.e. How did anyone figure out who the killer was and how did the person know about the specifics of the relationship with and try to implicate Nash, and what was Ted doing with her an hour before?) This story had a lot of potential, but it just kept getting sidetracked with additional layers of unnecessary and ultimately irrelevant and unresolved storyline. Even many of the sex scenes, which were mostly pretty hot, became too much and did nothing to help tell the story. I really wanted to like it more. I just couldn't.
Alex and Nash's relationship was very complex. It was a long read because the author was very thorough in telling their story.
I normally don't read books that are this long, but the involvement of how all the characters worked to weave such an interesting story held my attention.
I’m glad we got the story of Alex and Nash and wow ,now how about Wes Reid ? I bet it is a doozy ....all of CJ Thomas books are worth reading ....I enjoy them immensely.....can’t wait for the next new series .......
Pain/pleasure has a very fine line between them. It mixes so well with the back stabbing and double dealing of Hollywood. Following your passion takes on a multi-faceted meaning in this story. Definitely keeps you interested.
One of the worst books I have read. I didn't like the characters. I didn't believe the story line at all, and I have believed some far out story lines before. It felt like an outline of a story where the rough draft of what will happen was filled in. The money involved was just ridiculous. I was stuck without wi-fi and could not download another book or I would have moved on quicker.
I like this series and struggled to put it down. I'm a sucker for the alpha male and the simple girl routine Favourite parts of the book are the chapters from Nash's perspective. Did I like it as much as the This Man trilogy, 50 shades or the favorite of the moment Grey? Probably not but it was still pretty dam good Worth the download and the time to read Recommend
I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 I was left hanging in the end it was a happy ever after ended but they never did say who the killer was so that made me sad to say the least. And it didn't say if Nash was off Scott free from them looking at him being a suspect. I know they said Ted was free and off the hook which kind of made Nash not a accomplish anymore but still left hanging. And don't remember Alex telling Nash that she loves him. Other then that good book really enjoyed reading it would recommend it to someone that likes a spicy book.
Great series , really good storyline. There is always something happening in this to hold your interest and you are never quite sure what the next thing will be and there is plenty of hot sex and sexy alpha male. There is so much going on you are immediately sucked in to the story and held there and Alex and Nash are so good together. Really enjoyable would highly recommend.
Oh my god, what a read that was, first the whole series of on my knees, then the free bonus of heat, first the story of Nash and Alex, and the relationship that took us nearly everywhere a relationship could go. Then the story of Julia and Dan, oh my that was a tense one, really enjoyed these books.
Oh yes. This book had me squirming in my seat. True erotic novel with a smooth flowing plot but lots of j tense sex scenes that keep you coming back for more.
Love this authors writing. Keeps you hanging on the end of your seat and reading all night. Loved the free stand alone story of Julia and dan at the end of the complete series too!
