I am a seasoned card reader but I consider myself a beginner in learning about the Runes and the Norse Mythology, so my review reflects this point of view.
The artwork on the cards is stunning but it doesn't always express the meaning of the card. Also some symbols - like the Vegvisir- are not clearly depicted, which I feel is a missed opportunity.
However, the guidebook is very well-structured and easy to read. The messages are clear, but also leave space for intuitive reading. The content regarding the Norse mythology is informative, but I am not an expert in the field so I can't really say much about that.
I really enjoyed the spreads included in this book. They are consistent with the theme and very insightful!
Another thing that makes this deck a great reader for me is that, together with the mythos, we get some practical messages. So this deck can be used for spiritual guidance but also for practical, actionable advice.
If one is interested in the Runes and the Norse Mythology and is willing to put enough work to get passed the artwork problem, this deck can give some very nice readings.
