When we moved back to our hometown in the middle of my junior year, I had some pretty mixed feelings about it. I had expected to see the people I thought I'd left behind. What I hadn't expected was to come face to face with my own personal dream-stalker - in the form of the hottest guy in school. Crazy doesn't even begin to describe the tangled web my life becomes. One thing is for certain - If fate is real, she has a wicked sense of humor. In my chaotic world, dreams have a strange way of coming true, but even I couldn't imagine the impossible truth that would soon become my reality. Fate seems to have a plan for me that includes the boy who haunts my sleep, and it's far beyond even what I could dream up. But, really - why did this guy have to haunt my dreams? Arrogant, demeaning and downright rude, he is everything I never wanted...and all I can think about. I'm seriously starting to question my sanity. Now I just have to figure out what to do about all of it... Hopefully before I claw his beautiful blue eyes out.
I really would have liked to this book more stars. But I just can’t. While Misty had a interesting storyline in this book, she sadly failed to put it into a good book. While I believe if she would review it and work on it she could have a really good Book. While I read some other reviews on this book before I read I knew a lot of them mention SM Twilight similarities. There where some, yes. But not enough to say it was a retelling type book. It had some sentences in it that seemed to be just like twilight but then again with some work it could be a really good book. And not really like Twilight.
I was shocked at how similar this book was to SM "Twilight." I had read the reviews but honestly should had paid attention to them. At $6 it was expensive and sadly unoriginal. In fact there are scenes that are exactly the same as Twilight, right down to the same words written and spoken by the characters. It's sad because the author shows the potential to write, however the material is (at least in this first outing) not original. I barely made it through...it frustrated me that much.
The story took me a while to finish, wish hadn't paid for it. It wasn't a bad read just not an exciting one. It felt rushed without any real back story on either character.
