Condemned to repeat the sins of the past...

Faye thought losing her parents was the most devastating thing to happen to her, but she was wrong. Her uncle’s scandalous revelation has sent her into a tailspin, leaving her questioning her entire existence.

Everything she believed is built on a lie.

And the one person she shares a passionate, soul-deep connection with can’t be there for her.

Faye and Ky can’t be together. It’s forbidden. Though they are determined to avoid replicating their parents’ mistakes, caving to their feelings is as tempting as the apple in the Garden of Eden.

Ky had sworn off girls until Faye bulldozed her way into his life. Now, she’s his whole world, and their forced separation is crushing him. Once his manipulative ex resurfaces—hell-bent on ruining the Kennedys—he’ll do whatever it takes to protect his loved ones including turning his back on the one person he can’t live without.

Then tragedy strikes and all bets are off.

But is it too late?

When Faye needs him and he isn’t there for her, guilt and hurt threaten to obliterate their love. As they start to rebuild their fractured hearts, another sordid family secret is uncovered, and Faye worries Ky may be lost to her forever.

But can you truly lose someone if they don’t want to be found?

Happy book birthday

Losing Kyler packs everything from suspense, drama and angst to friendship, family and love. It fed my addiction and left me wanting more.

Just when Faye Donovan thought her life could go back on track, her uncle reveals shocking news that will have her question everything and the one person she wants by her side can’t be there because her relationship with Kyler Kennedy is prohibited. Star-crossed lover status is a walk in the park compared with the obstacles they face.

And it’s not just their lives that seem to be crumbling apart, the hits keep coming towards the Kennedy’s in general and everyone is suffering.

It is devastating for Kyler to keep away from Faye, but he’d do anything to maintain her and his family safe no matter the cost until disaster finds her and he’s not there to save her. Can they get past the hurt and heartbreak caused by omissions in the face of yet another upsetting family revelation?

I don't think I have the right words to convey the emotional roller coaster this story took me on. Siobhan Davis continues crafting an intricate story full of shocking twists and surprising turns that kept me flipping pages like crazy.

Losing Kyler starts where Finding Kyler left off and I had to mentally restrain myself from searching for at least one of the answers I was hoping to get. But Siobhan takes her time and leads us through the aftershocks of the revelations made at the end of book one. While reading about the aftereffects we learn so much more about all the supporting characters. Although keeping track of the cousins with K names was a great memory exercise.

While Kyler and Faye are at the center of this plot driven story –will they be able to have a happy future together?– Siobhan skillfully entwines several other side stories with their own curveballs that affect the main couple and kept me fully engaged. From James and Alex situation, to the very sweet Brad who gets a lot more page time in this book with his growing friendship with Faye but whose family situation is almost as distressing, to the rest of the Kennedy brothers who are dealing with their own worries and drama.

I know I’m being deliberately vague, but I promise it’s for the best. You just have to jump right in and enjoy all the drama! I will say that I loved, LOVED the character development, every single one was layered and complex. I wanted to throttled some and hug others. The pace was perfect, moving the plot forward answering some questions while setting the stage for others. I can’t wait for the next instalment in the series and every single one that is to come.

Losing Kyler is book #2 in young adult The Kennedy Boys Series by Siobhan Davis. It’s written from the heroine’s points of view with a cliffhanger. I recommend it for readers that like teen drama and angst revolving around family secrets and taboo relationships, all wrapped up in a sexy, swoony romance.

Siobhan Davis, you have done it again! You have tortured and twisted this family until they are a bleeding mass of twisted emotions writhing on their very expensive floors! And you know what? I LOVED IT! No, no, no, neither myself or Siobhan Davis are mean people, but Ms. Davis is definitely a gifted author and I love well-written tales that suck me in while I soak up every scene like a thirsty sponge.

Grab your angst-o-meters and see what you come up with as Faye and Kyler are once again wrapped up in the drama that seems to haunt the Kennedys at every corner. Not only has their love become seemingly twisted and most definitely forbidden, but the family seems to have one shocking revelation after another slamming them from every angle. How could love be so wrong? How can it become so ugly? Just when they realize the past cannot repeat itself, Kyler’s ex gets her claws into him and it seems he is forgetting all about Faye. Is he acting? Is it real? What about Kyler’s best friend, who has tried to be there for Faye, is he becoming attached to feisty and strong-willed girl or is he innocently being “just a friend.” What right does Ky have to interfere, anyway?

While one brother is accused of rape, the family looks to be pulling together, until the next emotional time bomb goes off in their faces. Who has biological connections and who doesn’t? For a family who has always ridden the storms of angst and anger, this time out, the very foundation of their bonds are being torn apart.

Faye is lost in the melee as Ky refuses to talk to her, just when she needs him most. Nothing will top the final revelations as Faye is handed a letter from the past, one that will leave her with even more heartache as well as understanding for the mother she lost and Ky overhears a conversation not meant for his ears.

Can you say, family soap opera? Better, more grueling and certainly darker than any afternoon soap on television, the Kennedys, Faye and Siobhan will fill your angst quotient until the next Kennedy Boys book comes out! Again, I must ask, Siobhan Davis, how can you give them so much to deal with? How did you do it in such a way that there was no way to put LOSING KYLER down once that first page began! Brilliant, captivating, aggravating and heartbreaking and I am dying for book 3.

I received an ARC edition from Siobhan Davis in exchange for my honest review.

This series is so OTT with the drama (which I normally hate), but I’m loving every second of it. I love the writing, the absolutely messed up and flawed characters, the twists and turns, all of it.

I decided halfway into book 1 that I wouldn’t read this as a romance and maybe that’s why I’m enjoying it. I mean in two books there’s only been about 2 chapters of romance and happiness.

Faye is strong yet also doormat-y at times. She’s loving and caring and always puts others before herself. She doesn’t judge others for their shortcomings even when they deserve it.

Kyler could be an amazing H if he wasn’t always pushing Faye away and running. He’s done so many messed up things to Faye but in a VERY misguided way, it was always for Faye and members of his family. I know many would never see it that way.

I can’t wait to read the final book of Faye and Kyler because I definitely need answers to the many open questions. I’m still rooting for them. If when Faye finds him again he’s with any OW, I think that will kill my last hope for them. He said he’s leaving to make himself worthy of her and sexing up OW is NOT how you do that.

This series is definitely not safe.

Losing Kyler picks up right where Finding Kyler ended.

In this installment we experience the ups and downs of the budding relationship between Faye and Kyler. We’re also privy to a number of other secondary storylines that will set the stage for the Kennedy world and the future books.

While the pace is slower than I tend to enjoy, there is no one better at world-building than Siobhan Davis. Her writing is masterful and unmatched!

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Burn: 🔥
Heat: 🌶

🗂 Genre: Contemporary Romance

✨ Tropes: Forbidden

📣 Type: Losing Kyler is part of The Kennedy Boys series and ends on a cliffhanger.

🎧 Audio: I listened to the Audible narration. Although the books is told in a single POV (Faye’s), the narrator gave voice to all characters. Full disclosure, I did not love her voice for characters besides Faye.

⚠️ Safety Squad: This is a forbidden storyline that some readers may be uncomfortable with. If you have any hesitation, check the warnings before diving in. Otherwise, blind is best!!

🛑 Be Advised: My Goodreads shelves are … explicit in both senses. As such, they could be considered spoiler-y.

Five secret stars for Faye and Kyler ❤🔥!!!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

In a review for the first book in this series, I said that Faye's and Kyler's story absolutely got me and I became obsessed with them.

And that continued in this one too...

When I've finished reading "Finding Kyler", I thought there was only one secret need to be solved but I was so wrong.

On every page of "Losing Kyler", there was another new secret that the Kennedy family were keeping. So, because of these all secrets, I couldn't put the book down until I finished it.

Relationship between Faye and Kyler was a true rollercoaster which is not strange because of everything they went through.

I highly recommend this book to everyone who loves a good dark bully high school romance with taboo trope because it'll keep you awake all night.

P. S. I can't wait to start reading " Keeping Kyler" 😍😍😍!!!

I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book.

She's done it again: Siobhan Davis has given us another wonderful read.

Siobhan Davis is best known for her sci-fi books – she writes one hell of a sci-fi story, and if you’ve yet to read any, I certainly suggest picking one up – but with The Kennedy Boys books, Siobhan Davis is demonstrating that she’s more than capable of writing a cracking contemporary read as well. I’ll be honest and say I prefer her sci-fi reads a bit more, but her contemporary reads are more than worth it if you’re a fan of the genre. The fact I’m reading them when I’m so picky about my contemporary reads is evidence enough of that. All in all, the woman writes a damn good story whatever she is putting on the paper.

She also knows how to pull you into her story and leave you wanting more.

Finding Kyler ended on a serious cliff-hanger. It’s something you come to accept with Siobhan Davis: if you plan to read one of her series, know every book will leave you with countless questions. The wait between Finding Kyler and Losing Kyler was hard, mainly because the final Saven book was thrown in the middle, leaving me all kinds of mixed up as I did waiting of so many different kinds. It was worth it, though. So very worth it.

Losing Kyler picks up where Finding Kyler ended. You know that great big bombshell that was dropped – well, we’re thrown straight into the aftermath. Sometimes when such bombshells are dropped at the end of books, authors will jump forward in time when they start the next book in a series – not Siobhan Davis. Siobhan Davis allows us to watch how everything plays out. She throws us into the emotion, giving us all the details we could want.

Not that the bombshell dropped at the end of the first book is the only drama we deal with throughout, oh no. The Kennedy Boys books are promising to be the best kind of soap opera. Each time you think nothing more can be added, another twist is thrown in. Honestly, I cannot remember the last time I enjoyed such soap opera dramatics. Everything that can add drama will add drama. Everything that can be twisted will be twisted. Everything wrench that can be thrown into the works will be thrown into the works. It really is like sitting down in the evening to watch the soaps on the television.

If I’m being completely honest, I enjoyed the side drama more than I enjoyed the central drama. The Faye and Kyler drama is a lot of fun, but I find myself enjoying the other Kennedy boys more. Due to this, I’m so glad Siobhan Davis has decided to give the other boys their stories. I cannot wait to jump into them, as they promise to be wonderful if the drama we see throughout this book is anything to go by. Now whilst I enjoyed the side drama more than the Faye and Kyler drama, I will admit to it being important to the overall story. Siobhan Davis does a wonderful job of bringing everything together, and I’m curious to find out the exact links between the events. Some things are fairly obvious, whereas others have me completely unsure as to what we can expect next.

Speaking of things being obvious and others being a massive mystery, I feel as though certain events throughout this book were overly obvious. More darkness was added to the community, and it seemed to come out of nowhere, yet it was clear who was involved with said darkness. I feel as though this was more so a case of me reading far too many crime novels, though. I tend to pick up on such things far too quickly, which can sometimes leave me getting ahead of twists and turns when a story is not a crime novel yet involves such aspects. Moreover, I’m accustomed to adult crime novels and the uncertainty added in this one is more in line with the young adult level of crime mystery. It works well with the storyline, but if you’re a crime aficionado the shock factor isn’t quite what it should be.

I also feel as though the romance development was rather expected in places. The way things played out towards the end of the book really grabbed me, even if I’d expected such a thing from the first book. I wasn’t sure how the specifics were going to play out, but I had a feeling such a twist would be thrown in. The way it played out, though, was well beyond what I could have imagined. Throughout the whole book lies and deception were central, but I didn’t expect such a thing to come out at the end. I was so caught up in all the things being thrown at us from one corner that I didn’t expect the other corner to fling in such whoopers. It was wonderful, certainly shifting things back to the drama-filled levels that I felt lulled somewhat in the middle of the story.

As expected, Siobhan Davis leaves us with yet another cliff-hanger. This one is nowhere near the size of the one at the end of Finding Kyler, but it’s certainly more than enough to leave you on the edge of your seat in anticipation of the next book. It’s not the same kind of anticipation that was experienced at the end of the first book, but it is certainly a classic Siobhan Davis hold. I’m really not sure where the next book will take us. There’s so many possibilities and I cannot wait to see what Siobhan Davis decides to do with the story. I’m super eager to see where she takes us.

Overall, this was a really enjoyable read. I’ll admit that I didn’t enjoy it as much as I enjoyed the first book – but it’s like every other Siobhan Davis book, in the sense that once it was open I found myself unable to put it down for any period of time.

As a final note, I would like to thank the author for allowing me to advance read this story.

I would like to thank Siobhan Davis for my copy. Due to this lovely offer, I have decided to leave a review.

I AM SHOOK!

I recently took a year off from reading and reviewing as I've had a lot to deal with personally, but what a book to return too! I am speechless. I had totally forgotten how much Siobhan was a favourite author of mines and how much I love her books.

Just when Faye thinks things could not get any worse, my god the Kennedy family live up to their reputation! The family faces a huge blow with the allegations against Kalvin, then you have the "minor" issue that James, Faye & Kyler are trying to face, you literally are biting your fist reading on to the next chapter. With more turns, twist, shocks and absolute heart-wrenching moments, your heart is in a glass cage of emotion because everything is MINDBLOWING!

I have been a big fan of Siobhan's for a while now, her writing style grips you and she loves to hit you hard and fast. This book was no different, I felt every emotion and the story definitely packs a punch.

My heart absolutely aches for all of them in this book, I was crying, laughing, crying again... Faye and Kyler's love is something else, the thought of cousins freaks me out in a major way but I always root for these two. I just want them to be happy!! Is it too much to ask?!

I love how we get to see more of each of the brothers and their personalities, I would love to be a fly on the wall in that house anyway! Even more so now that Brad is fully in the equation, he is such a sweetheart and he melts my heart! Faye... its tough at the top!

If you like the high school drama, think Riverdale meets the bitchiness of Dynasty then you will love this series! Its packed full of craziness but also loving moments that will keep you hooked all the way through, I just read it in one sitting and I loved every minute of it.

Wow what a second book. This series is completely addictive and book two will blow your mind some of the plot twist I did see coming but it in no way takes away from the story. That being said I'm pretty sure their are plenty you will not see coming and its just an awesome read alround.

I couldn't put it down so glad I bought the boxset because it does end on a cliffhanger so be prepared. I am doing my happy dance cos I'm on to book three and so excited to see what happens next, so glad I found this author love all of her books so far and they have all been five stars reads.

As much as I wanted to not carry on with this series I just needed to know more and yep, more dysfunctional mayhem with the Kennedys. This time around even though this story has so many twists and so many turns it’s like I’m chasing my tail round and round lol but trust me this book will really give you whiplash and to top it all off I got so annoyed at both the main MC’s and I found Brad and Kal to be the only realist out of the lot but don’t get me wrong I like the triplets too.

4.5 anxiety-inducing stars.
I received a copy of this e-book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
I actually liked Losing Kyler better than Finding Kyler. The author has requested a review without spoilers, so I will refrain from that. I will simply say that for me, this story is 100% plot-driven. Many of the characters aren’t even that likable and all of them are flawed. It was the twists and turns of the plot that kept me turning pages. And turn pages, I did.
As I can’t reveal much about the plot, I will focus this review on some of the characters.
Faye: It is hard for me to judge her. It seems like tragedy continues to plague her. Most of the time she is a strong young woman, but she doesn’t always exercise great judgment. She does seem to be a slave to her hormones. Unfortunately these hormones lead her to make some of the mistakes she made in the first book.
Kyler: As with Faye, I can understand the lingering deep feelings he has for her, but it seems like his lust would be turned off like a light switch. I genuinely like Kyler but keeping secrets, especially from Faye, leads to repeating a serious mistake he did in the first book.
Brad: I like Brad, but I don’t buy his selfless, boy-next-door act. You didn’t follow the bro-code in the first book and you don’t in this book either. Even if you have no respect for your best friend, have some respect for yourself. You come across as an opportunistic creeper.
James: He is a cheating, horrible husband. I disagree with Alex; he is not a great father. Kyler and Faye are better parents to the younger cousins than he and his wife. He improves toward the end, and becomes more responsible. But over all he is a WEAK man, and I can’t respect him.
Alex: One of the worst characters in the book. I can’t buy that she was ever a successful business woman. If James is WEAK, Alex is WEAK, WEAK, WEAK. By the end I was completely disgusted with her and her hypocrisy. At this point I’m cheering for her nemesis, Courtney.
The cousins with the K-names are too difficult to keep up with. These cousins and Faye were too grabby hands with each other for my taste. I don’t constantly hug, hang on, sleep next to my male cousins.
I must mention Addison at this point. She doesn’t have a lot of page time per say, but she wreaks havoc on all the characters to some extent. She has to be the most-hated villain in the history of contemporary romance. She’s got her evil fingers in so many pies. I wouldn’t be surprised if in book three we learn that she is responsible for global warming, the economic housing crisis of 2008, and the defeat of HRC.

review got deleted so adding it again :)

I can not get enough of the Kennedy family stories or Kyler and Faye! I love the intensity, the over the top drama, the angst, the scandal and lies, and the alpha possessive Kennedy men. I love a good taboo/forbidden relationship, and this one has just consumed me.

The end of book one had some major heartbreak in store for us- with Faye and Kyler finding out a potentially devastating piece of information that may derail their budding relationship- now that they have finally admitted their feelings- and may make their love even more forbidden than we’d assumed. HOLY MOLY.

These story is drama to the max- soap operatic and delicious. Poor Faye just gets so much thrown at her- and the revelations that force them apart just broke me (and her)- she needs Kyler, and he pushes her away. Is there ever a path to these two being together given all that is stacked against them? What other secrets and lies do they have to unpack and work through? Is their love something they are willing to accept, despite others thinking it is wrong?

Both of these characters really struggle with their complicated feelings for each other- and it is hard to watch them unravel. I wanted to punch Kyler more than once, and I wanted to hug poor Faye- I just wanted them to stop fighting against each other and their feelings and fight FOR each other- their love is just so intense, and they both clearly need it to thrive.

Of course, Siobhan leaves us with a jaw dropping conclusion that had me one-clicking the next book in seconds. This story is addictive- it consumes me completely. I’m a Kennedy boys addict, and I’m not even sorry. I MUST know what is next for Faye and Kyler!

Keven me intrigó, y mucho.

Faye Donovan thought her life was finally looking up after losing her parents, her home, and everything she’d ever known. After coming to live with her aunt and uncle and their seven sons in America, Faye thought she had found someone to complement and complete her in her cousin Kyler - her soulmate. Her other half.

But too many family secrets left too long festered in darkness, and now Faye finds she and Kyler can in no way be together. At all. Ever.

Realizing much of what she knew her entire life was a lie, Faye is traversing a well worn path of frustration and desire. Living with Kyler and yet forbidden to be with him, just as they were ready to weather the derision that was sure to have faced them as cousins.

The relationships and story lines in this installment are just fierce! I loved watching how everyone evolved. So much happened in the first book, and now several of those threads are going to get resolved, but now other threads have frayed and are taking on a life of their own.

Yes, this is Faye and Kyler’s story, but it’s also so much more.

It’s a story about identity, and what makes a good parent. It’s about loss and regret and love. Its about the sins of the father being visited upon the sons. It’s about the damage secrets cause when there is no candle to shine a light on them. And it’s also about how every decision has the potential to affect every single person around you in visible and invisible ways.

Do yourself a favor and read this trilogy. You won’t regret it.

"You're my one and only, Faye." I love Ky and Faye and I loved this book!

If you enjoy some drama with your romance, this is the book for you. The drama transcends generations, sins from the past take their toll on the present. Still, to me, the joy of this series and the heart of it is that families find ways to survive-- because through all the muck, there's a core of love that's solid and unbreakable.

That being said, this one ends in a flurry of angst, so I can't wait to read Book 3, Keeping Kyler, and read how Faye and Ky resolve their issues.

Review of books 1-2

I am so disappointed in this series. I liked some of this author's other work, and I can't tie out how this series is written by the same person, they are so different.

My first disappointment lies with the sheer amount of unnecessary drama in the books. I only read the first two, but seriously it's a jacked up roller coaster ride that makes very little sense. I feel like the author used drama to replace plot and character development. Every chapter has some new thing happening and the larger arc of the plot frequents disappears only to be pulled awkwardly to the front line whenever it's convenient.

My second issue is the MC. Initially she comes across as capable, or at least adultish, though reckless. She's constantly handing out advice to her uncle and cousins. so how does this girl flip out like a 13 year old over a guy she fell in love with in like 3 weeks and nearly gets herself raped because she gets drunk and hooks up with a predator? Bimbo doesn't begin to cover it. these two personality traits (responsible adult and bimbo teen) never get reconciled in a way that makes me believe in her as a character. And let's not forget she's so hot everyone magically wants. Cue the eye roll. This girl is so unlikable I can't believe she's at the center of a story. I mean, what girl who just violently lost both parents is going to be in any headspace to get romantically involved, much less be with it enough to notice a hot guy. This girl loved her parents and was torn to pieces when they passed, but a week later she is all Ky this and Ky that. Unbelievable. Instead of grieving, she's looking to get some. Real winner there. But I guess all her bursts of years over this guy she barely knows are proof of her grief.

My third problem - the incessant tropes. I am legit sick of this mean girl wants the love interest thing and the MC catches them together and runs off crying. Ugh. Also suck of these MC's losing their brain cells when some abs show up. Which of course leads her to stupid actions and a sense of entitlement about the love interest for no apparent reason. I get that love can be illogical, but lose the requisite emerging bimbo in the storytelling. No one likes it and frankly it's insulting to women. Is it ridiculous to want her to not be a jealous shrew after 5 minutes with the guy? This leads into the next trope: insta love. There was build e to the relationship but then declaring their love so fast was just blah. They don't even know each other, so love isn't in the realm of possibility. And despite what some may think, stating creepily into each other's eyes doesn't a relationship make. They spent most of book one staring into each other past their walls, apparently sharing the truths of themselves without words or, you know, shared history. I can't suspend my disbelief long enough to swallow that down.

Ultimately these two books were skimmable and very disappointing from a plot and character standpoint. They were just a mess of teen hormones and childish behavior around a series of overwhelming and over dramatic scenes.

Oh my gosh! Losing Kyler was such a roller coaster ride! It was epic and heartbreaking at the same time. You can read my review of book 1: Finding Kyler, here.

*A little spoilery for those who have yet to read book 1.*

This book picks up right where it left off. After James drops the father bomb upon Faye, everything becomes far more complicated in their life. The more they try to come up with a solution, the more their problem entangles them. But when a new truth is revealed, it's up to Kyler and Faye to decide what to do with the truth, face it or run from it.

As always, Siobhan managed to surprise the heck out of this book as well. Something or the other kept happening which made it difficult to put this book down. The plot was absolutely unpredictable which kept me on my toes. After Faye learns that James could be her father instead of just uncle, it complicates the relationship between her and Kyler. Their chemistry was off the charts and it was a struggle for both of them to be apart from one another.
He's like my own personal kryptonite.

But seriously, the Kennedys are one big messed up family but despite that, I loved the relationship between the brothers and how much they cared for each other despite their inner demons. I really, really hated Addison. I mean how can be a person this low? She is definitely onto something big and I can't wait to find out about it in the final book of this series. The way she manipulated the situation of Kalvin really pissed me. I hope she gets what she deserves. Among the brothers, I seriously loooove Keaton, he is such a good friend to Faye but I'm really looking forward to reading Kalvin's story as well.

I enjoyed how the plot was executed. The constant drama and the unexpected plot twists kept me thoroughly entertained. I loved the romance between Faye and Kyler but it felt that their relationship moved nowhere and I wanted more of that. Nonetheless, I was glad to finally know Faye's whole truth and I hope she gets some closure. But that last plot twist seriously shocked me! I didn't even see that one coming.

Overall, Losing Kyler was a great read! I enjoyed it so much. I loved how the plot was executed and I enjoyed the character growth. The chemistry between Kyler and Faye was undeniable. The writing was smooth and the pace was even throughout the book. I can't wait to see how everything goes down in the final book of Kyler and Faye. I'm so freaking excited for it!

Recommend it?

YES!

This series has seriuosly stretched my comfort zone! But yet I am addicted to it! The payoff to follow through with these characters has been huge and I was excited to keep going. In book one and a lot of book two I was struggling with how I felt on one hand, because as in my first review, this is a love story that involves a cousin relation (granted cousins that don't know the other exists till they are 17), and then I found myself rooting for the characters. Talk about whiplash in my brain! I felt very bipolar in my feelings. Like any great love story though, their connection and chemistry is incredible and I found myself becoming more acceptable towards them. Book two ups the "forbidden romance" by a thousand percent.

The side characters, ALL of the Kennedy brothers, and Kyler's best friend Brad are equally addicting and their hotness oozes off the pages trapping you in their crazy lifestyles. The major plot in book two involves Kalvin Kennedy but the secrets that are in this family knows no end and everybody has drama! Just when they think they are rebuilding relationships and working through mistakes of their past, another secret blows up in their faces and they are reeling from another revelation. Talk about twisted pasts and damaging secrets! This family is seriously dysfunctional but yet you'll love them to the very end....despite their issues.

And one of the stories antagonists, Addison, that chick needs to seriously be put in her place! But money in this town talks more than the law. If you can pay your way out, then whoever has the bigger checkbook seems to walk away scotfree! Poor Faye is stuck in the middle of the insanity, trying her best to keep her new family together.

Another big cliffhanger ends this book and of course I'm sitting her begging for the final installment! For all the emotions this series brings out, from the "ewww" to the "gasp" to the "awww" moments, it gets a 4 star rating. Check out my review for book one, Finding Kyler . I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

Amazing! Siobhan Davis outdid herself with Losing Kyler and I can't wait to read Keeping Kyler!

Losing Kyler picks up exactly where Finding Kyler ended. We follow Faye and Kyler after the bomb dropped by James. But that's not the only bomb. Lots of secrets are unveiled and the Kennedy family will never be the same.
Will Faye and Kyler continue their romantic relationship or is all hope for their happiness lost?

I loved Losing Kyler! The story is full of drama, twists, mystery, and suspense. It hooked me from the first page and I couldn't stop reading! When I thought things were finally good, another bomb is dropped and everything changes again.

Faye is a fighter. After everything she has been through, she still keeps being strong and determined. Sometimes she lets her heart rule her and she ends up getting hurt. But she always tries to find the good in everything and everyone.
Like Faye, Kyler is a fighter. He'll do everything to protect the ones he loves, but sometimes he ends up hurting himself or the ones he's trying to protect. His whole world changes when the final secret is revealed.
I loved getting to know more about the Kennedy boys, Alex, Brad, and James.

Once again, Siobhan Davis did an amazing job! Losing Kyler is flawlessly written and hooks you from the first page. The story is captivating with all its drama, suspense, and all the secrets and twists. The characters are amazing and seem so real. It's very easy to connect with them.
I can't wait to read what happens to Faye and Kyler in Keeping Kyler and for the rest of the Kennedy Boys series!

Some reactions while reading book 2:

2) Lana.

For reals, how could you do that? And invent such lie??

3) James

Seriously man, you had to go there with Courtney?

5) Kyler and Faye. I know it was hard. I was like this throughout the whole book:

I didn't lose my faith in y'all and when I reached the end, I was like:

So yeah, I'm really into this series and I hope book 3 is out soon. 4 stars and again, a great job from Siobhan Davis.

Losing Kyler is the continuation of The Kennedy Boys series and starts off exactly where Finding Kyler ended. So yes, you must read these books in order to know what is going on. And Siobhan continues to give us more shock and awe as this saga continues.

Losing Kyler is still all about Kyler and Faye and their quest to find true love with one another. And their taboo relationship gets another blow thrown into it. And this time, it could definitely mean the end for them.

But as Kyler and Faye are dealing with this new bomb in their relationship, the rest of the family is not done with their drama and hurdles to overcome. James and Alex are battling not just between themselves but dealing with some huge issues their sons have gotten themselves into. At times it felt a little overwhelming, but I enjoyed how Siobhan tied these issues into Kyler and Faye and it didn't take away from the main plot of this story.

Siobhan does a really good job of keeping the reader vested in this story and ALL the characters. Not only am I intrigued to see how things pan out for Kyler and Faye, but I need to know what happens with other Kennedy Boys, their parents and their family friend, Brad. Siobhan has definitely built up a great set of characters and amazing background stories on each to keep us coming back (just as long as she does not play these stories out too long).

We are promised the ending to this book in the next few months but another brother's book in the summer. So I am grateful that we are not held in suspense too long to see how the dust settles for Kyler and Faye.

Highly recommended series.

I'm not quite sure what to say...
So, as you may or may not already know, the first book in this series is one of the worst books i've ever read... This one was determinedly not as bad!
I do have a few problems with it though:
1. why did the author re-use the same plot line (Addison thing) Books aren't like life... If you want to keep an audience entertained then if something works the first time it doesn't mean you should do the EXACT same thing again... It got annoying and petty smh
2. They were still making it seem like it's ok to hook up with your cousin! It may be legal in the states, but it's not morally right. IDK
3. Towards the middle it got really repetitive and dragged on and on
what it did right:
1. it established that the characters do in fact think incest is wrong, just not with cousins lol at least we're taking a step in the right dirrection
2. that court case was intense
3. Addison is no longer 2D, the author actually gave a little dimension!
4. I liked all the plot twists, it was a hot mess but, I'm kinda into that lol (it was kinda soap opera-ish lol)
5. I haven't read many books that follow characters that had false rape allegations! It's probably a first for me and I did like it. Yes rape is serious, but so are the victims of those false allegations! Both can RUIN lives.

Overall, I'm glad I read this... It has resolved some of the previous problems I had with the other book. It's safe to say; I won't be having any more nightmares about Finding Kyler

Received an ARC Copy in exchange for a honest review..

Thanks again to Siobhan Davis for gifting the book.
Once again another superb read and a perfect start to the 2nd book in the series.
Faye and The Kennedy clan surly doesn't have life easy at the moment, just when you think that some issues will be sorted or fixed, there is more thrown in the already fragile setup, and Mrs Davis doesn't disappointed at all..

Poor Faye, she almost found the perfect family, and The perfect boyfriend, just to go to battle again, and it seems that nothing will work out in anyone's favor either.

As promised, there will not be any spoilers, as there is plenty of bookworms to still read this amazing series.

You'll love this story, it's naelbiting good, at times you'll wanna scream and say what the F....... Hell but we can't say all that we want in our reviews cause it will be rejected and that's just argh!!!!!

Secrets, lies, truths is almost always the order of the day
Drama and suspense in each and every chapter
You'll fall head over heels in love with all The Kennedy Boys, can't wait to read each and everyone's story next, and don't forget about sweet, funny Brad either..

And so much more...

Will there be closure to some burning questions?
Will James and Alex get their act together and save their family?

And most of all, will Faye and Kyler a.k.a Ky's relationship work out in the end??

Hmmm, questions, questions...

Happy Reading!!!

Siobhan Davis puts the "rama" in drama with this second installment of the Kennedy Boys. One gorgeous female cousin thrown into a house full of hot and sexy boys? Check. Incestuous relationships (yes, that's plural)? You betcha. Infidelty? No problem. Crazy ex-girlfriends? Of course. Serial killer? Wouldn't be drama without one. Parties with alcohol, and underage sex? All the time. Rape accusations? Yep. Questionable parenting? Let's play who's your daddy.

Losing Kyler picks up right where Finding Kyler ended in a way that you HAVE to read FK before even thinking about LK. Kyler and Faye have just had some devastating news dropped on them and their world is turned up. side. down. Davis takes a huge risk with this revelation, and it was hard for me to push through it. But, push through it I did and the story ends up being a lot of fun, never knowing what could possibly be on the next page.

As with FK, I love the Kennedy family. The potential for storytelling is huge with this cast of characters and I want to know each and every story. Davis does a good job of distinguishing between all the boys so they aren't carbon copies of each other. Mom and Pop Kennedy provide their own share of drama as well, making this family dysfunctional royalty.

So, why 3 stars? Well, there's just a little too much drama and its execution is very weak at times. The reveal at the beginning was forced and as it provides conflict for at least 50% of the book, it left me dubious as to why it even had to exist. Ky's manipulative ex-girlfriend provided enough drama to keep the whole series going, so I would've much rather that be the main conflict. There are other dramatic moments that felt unnecessary and they're big enough to base an entire book on.

But, you know what? I couldn't look away. Davis has made me care about these characters, so I'll keep reading. I was provided an ARC of Losing Kyler in exchange for honest feedback.

WOW!!! HOLY SMOKES!
This book was one high after another and then another and another! I don't think my heart rate slowed down at all during the entire book. I devoured this book! DEVOURED! On the edge of my seat needing to know EVERYTHING...of course she ends the book with a MINDBLOWING revelation that she knows will bring us back for book 3! At least it's out so there's no wait for all of Kyler & Faye's story!
If you haven't read this series but you're looking at this review...it means your thinking about it! DO IT! Don't let anything keep you from it! If you're thinking about it, I think you'll enjoy it as much as I have. I didn't read it for so long because of certain aspects of the book but I'm telling you READ IT! I'm sorry that it took me so long, I wish I'd have started it much sooner!

Whew! What a rollercoaster of emotions this one was! I'm not okay and I need book 3 NOW!

Faye and Kyler are EVERYTHING! I love their relationship...when they are together and even when they aren't. Their connection is a high that you can feel from the pages! So sweet yet HAF!!! Absolutely amazing! I don't know what's in store for me with book 3 but I'll say this...I know I won't be okay when their story is over. I'll want them back. LOVE!!!!

*I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book*

At the end of book 1, I was floored with the revelation at the end. I couldn't wait to read this book to see what happened next. I loved that the book picked up right from that moment and continued on. There are so many secrets in this family and for some reason she manages to unearth every secret they are trying to keep. No wonder the whole family is imploding with the amount of secrets they are keeping from one another...lol. Of course, this book left off on another explosive secret so I am excited to read book 3 and see the results of this one. This book draws you in and doesn't let you go from one jaw dropping moment to the next. It is like a soap opera in book form and it will leave you wanting more.
