I hadn't read this fairy-tale before this version and I really enjoyed it. My issue is Roland covered that the sisters got arrested and that no one was putting up bail, but what happened to them? Did they die as they did in the original story or die in another way? Did the devil get their souls as he did in the original story? I wonder if I missed something. Other than that, it had a very sweet ending and I can only hope that there is more of the story to come.
Five stars for a continuation, there just isn't enough here for a satisfactory happy ending, though I am glad it at least had one.
