I gave this book a four because I loved every book except the last two. The second to last was just ugh. Neither could make up their mind and it was just childish drama then sex on repeat. The ending was abrupt and I would have liked to know what happened with the interview and see them ruin that she devil. The last book was just ok honestly I skipped over the flashbacks and just read the here and now parts. They were good but it was a little boring and it just needed more.
I loved Chopped! Dove is a bookish doctorate student hunting for rare leaves when she stumbles upon her very own "Grayzzly Adams." He's a mammoth of a man, hot AF, and the woman of his dreams has just intruded onto his land. The flames burn bright between these two, but can they find a way to make it work? This sexy book was steamy and so highly entertaining! I think this might just be my favorite book from this author!
This is the 2nd book collection of Kristina Weaver's that I've read and I enjoy the story lines, the plots and the characters. I can easily overlook the grammatical errors because the stories were that good to me.
Overall, the series was pretty good. I felt like some of the authors should have researched the differences in American and European English a bit more but the stories were original and not predictable.
Most of the books where good. Lawson was the book that showed a woman with no backbone or self-preservation. When I read books like that they just make mad.
The collection started off pretty good, and I was enjoying the first six stories. After that, it kind of lost its zing. The hero and heroines became unlikable bullies. The couples spent more time antagonizing each other, overreacting and jumping to crazy conclusions, and straight out refusing to accept apologies than any thing else. There was a lot of redundant, back and forth begging and groveling between the heroes and heroines for a considerable length of each story. As a matter of fact, one couple spent what seemed like 90% of their story separated! I wasn't sure I would be able to finish out the collection, but I've read other stories by Kristina Weaver before this and liked them, so I forged on hoping that the next story would be different--they weren't. I think I ended up with a frustrating headache.
A great set of varied stories. I loved the Russian women. Loved all the short stories where they fell in love immediately and the men chased the woman. Loved all the pregnant ladies. Just a great bundle that kept me reading.
