Rate this book
To their friends in San Diego, Sophie and Neil Beaumont are a successful, happy couple. One rainy night in 1987, that illusion is shattered. As Sophie struggles to pick up the pieces of her life, she doubts that the aching hole in her heart will ever heal. But everything changes when her best friend’s child, Jonathan, is born. Feeling a sense of hope, she has an intuition that he will be a beloved soul she knew in a past life. Their strong connection inspires her to embark on a journey of personal transformation that changes the course of her life. Prior to his birth, Jonathan and his team of spirit guides create his intricate soul plan. His life purpose is to share wisdom from the spirit world with others, to help them live their lives with less suffering. However, as the result of an unexpected event, he disconnects from the spirit world, and without access to that unique knowledge he was born with, he finds himself at the mercy of his own heartbreaking struggles. His spirit team is determined to help him meet his mission—after all, people like Sophie are depending on him. But can they find a way to help him awaken? The Line Between is an inspirational story of hope, loss, friendship, forgiveness, transformation, and eternal love. It speaks the language of the soul and reminds us to embrace all of our life experiences—the everyday routine, the miraculously mesmerizing, and the rip-your-heart-out tragic moments—as equally meaningful.

I very much enjoyed this book and new author. When the "angels" were in conversation I was reminded of the angels from It's A Wonderful LIfe and their conversations. The reincarnation issue within the story was a bit much for me, but the story line was very well told. There were enough twists to make the book more than interesting. I truly recommend others read this. The book addresses some of life's very basic issues.

This story quickly abducts you into a journey that has a very broad scope . It makes you think, feel, wonder and begin to know possibility in new ways. This book is a gift, especially in this day and it would also make a great one.

This book is very much a contemplative read, exploring the deep questions of spiritual guides, reincarnation and 'what happens when we die.' The most powerful writing is at the start of this book with a gripping opening that had me on the edge of my seat. I also really enjoyed the astral plane chapters. For me, the focus on Jonathan's relationship with his parents and Sophie got a little bogged down in detail, and was somewhat over sugary. However, I feel that this was a deliberate ploy of the author, to contrast the everyday, mundane, earth-bound side of life with the ethereal, spiritual side that is said to exist in parallel. Despite tragedy striking several times, this was still an uplifting and reflective read and quite unique.

I love this book. It starts fast, pulling you into the story. Following the story through the characters, there is so much to think about, and enjoy. The story really spoke to me and had me thinking about many aspects of my life and the things that seemed like coincidences at the time. I love the idea of spirit guides, and that we may all be here for a bigger purpose. I shared the book with a friend of mine who has recently experienced trauma. The book spoke to her and helped her through her journey of healing. Read this book!

Great book!

I really enjoyed this book...just when I thought I figured out where the story was going there were twists! I also liked the authors ideas of reincarnation and look at meanings in life small and larger than we can understand. Very thought provoking..waiting for the next book!

29 years old, with two growing boys, I've never truly studied the Buddhist religion I was raised under. This book expresses high influences of reincarnation, and I could not be happier. It's beautiful written! My heart ached, I cried, I laughed, I smiled, and I felt at peace with this book. This is a must read book! Although, I do suggest, having an open mind and open heart to different beliefs and religion practices of your own, and truly see where this book is coming from:) beautiful message, beautifully written, I think it may be my favorite book<3
