You’re supposed to tip the stripper at your friend’s bachelorette party, not take them home. But that’s exactly what Tess does. Her life feels like it’s on pause. She’s tired of drowning in her seemingly endless sea of fears but doesn’t know how to get from under them. Most days, she doesn’t even want to think them. So sleeping with the hot young stripper at Club Bang-Cock seems like the perfect distraction. Until it becomes much more than that.
Elijah is in school to become a preacher—something his parents want for him. But when he accidentally lets a secret slip, they abruptly stop paying for college during his senior year. Broke and desperate, he grabs the chance to finance his education by stripping at Club Bang-Cock, and he quickly makes peace with it. After all, he’s not working there to pick up women like most of the other guys. But a compelling woman walks into the club and changes everything he thinks about himself, and about his future.
**Warning: This erotic novella contains graphic descriptions of sexual situations, a very legal young stripper, and a woman determined to show him what being grown is all about.

Normally level-headed, restrained and dignified, Tess unleashes her inner cougar to take a walk on the wild side with the "Tenderoni" she meets at the strip club. What transpires is a sensitive and unique tale of discovery, enlightenment, transformation and maturation. This is a quick read that is well written and complete with the elements that position the reader to ride a wave of emotions. Although this is promoted as an erotic romance, it's pretty tame compared to others in this category
Originally when I read the synopsis I was like "Ok"? But it still sparked my curiosity. I'm happy I tried it. This is a wonderful novella. Yes I call this a novella because it was too short.
In light of the fact that I received a copy of this book to review, I felt obliged to at least attempt reading it. I was pleasantly surprised at the depth of feeling and emotional maturity of the story. In a situation that shouldn't have worked, two adults find solace and wisdom in each other. Judgemental family and friends drain Tess and Elijah of energy and in a moment of time they find each other. As short as this novelette is, it is packed with storyline, and I would have loved an epilogue to set my heart at rest. I received this book for free from eBook Discovery. I voluntarily post this review. This is my honest review.
Lindsay knows how to craft a story around steamy scenes keeping you both enthralled in the story yet anticipate the next sex scene. I don't read Romance Novels but I do read Lindsay Evans.
