I was really into this story. I've struggled with the author's books in the past, but this one was a big winner for me. What Maggie and Felix have is so darn special. I loved the backstory. I liked that the focus was less on external factors and more them coming to terms with the fact that they love one another as more than best friends. There was depth and dimension to the characters. They build their love through time, experience, and support. When they finally get together intimately, it is SEXY! I would have loved some more in the epilogue, but I enjoyed every second. Safety: Completely safe. Both are virgins. No rape. Emotional abuse.

This story is just so dang sweet and cute but also sexy. I have a huge secret to tell, so please don't kill me but when I first started reading Jenika's books I couldn't bring myself to like them. I know, what was I thinking. Here is the deal tho, the fact that I really enjoy and look forward to them now means that she won me over. Her stories just get better and better. You might wonder, if I liked it so much, why didn't I gave a higher rating, right? Well, I've become quite picky with my reads. I want a rich plot and since this book is super short and sweet there wasn't much story building, as in action, drama, twists and all the good stuff that leaves your mind in high performance. I would say that this is a perfect book for times, when you just need something more simple, fun and enjoyable. Simple is sometimes the best way to go! What I also really liked about these two characters is that they knew from the start what they wanted, they didn't have any doubts or were wondering what ifs. Also the epilogue is a nice touch to the whole story. Just leaves you with a warm feeling.
All in all, if you have a small time break, then go grab this book!

3.25 VERY SWEET STARS
I will be very short and sweet with this review. This should be the most amazing and awesome book as it's just about perfect. But it was just boring!
Everything according to plan again and the sex was just sooo vanilla!

I felt more like I was reading "Shielding Lily" by Alexa Riley but without the amazingly sensual sex scenes.
I can't give this a great review and I really wanted to, but it was just too blah and meh for me.
It was sweet but not much else. For example:
"What we have, what we share, that’s as real as anything else in this world.” He was now eye level with me. “You’re the realist thing in my life, and I won’t let you go."
It was all this throughout the book. She is mine and he is mine! We love each other and let's do things according to our perfect plan and have it be perfect!
Well it was perfect...but for me perfectly BORING!
Maybe it's because I just finished reading an action packed amazing story that I feel this way?
But I really don't think so.
A nice read but not worth a reread for me personally.
It's nice that they are both virgins and that they have always loved each other but what would be my compelling reason to read this?
There is NO CONFLICT SO THEREFORE NO RESOLUTION, so I am asking WHAT IS POINT TO THIS STORY?

Loved this! Two people meant from each other...soul mates...each other's first and only....so, so sweet.
Seriously swooning over here...
I can't give this 5 stars just because it was so short. But if it had been longer and a little more story to it with a tiny..and I do mean tiny..bit of angst, it would have been a perfect love story.

Very sweet.
Not much of a story and almost zero conflict. 100% safe. I really liked the beginning where they first met as children. It was very touching.

Sometimes falling in love can be so easy....
Felix fell in love with Maggie when he was 6 years old and he made a pink heart just for her.
He knew she was his.
They grew up together, went to college together, became flatmates and best friends.
What a sweet, old fashioned story!
The only problem these two sweethearts have is to admit they are in love with each other.
I loved the book! I finished it smiling.

I’d do whatever it took to make sure this woman always looked at me with love in her eyes.
Felix knew Maggie was his from the moment he met her - when they were six years old. Maggie didn't have an easy life, but Felix made everything worthwhile. It took them years to finally admit their true love for one another and everything about them was cute and awkward. Say You're Mine was super sweet. Sweet enough to give someone a toothache. It was also extremely repetitive and I wondered why the author had Felix doing ALL of the giving. Maggie took and took and I didn't find her to be as genuine as he was. Maybe if there was more to this story, her character and her intentions would have been fleshed out. Who knows? One hot scene and a bit of a look in the future of this couple completed this sugary treat.

3.5 stars!! This is a short read about best friends Felix and Maggie. They meet at 6 years old and Felix always knew he'd want Maggie by his side. Maggie has a tough home life and Felix is the best part of her life. This is the story of their friendship becoming what they both always wanted it to be. It was a believable story with a virgin hero which I truly love. He's always known that Maggie was it for him and finally decided to make her his in every way. I love these quick reads by Jenika Snow.

Felix and Maggie met when they were 6 years old and there was never anyone else for either of them. Both feeling love for the other, they were afraid to confess their true feelings for fear of losing the other. Finally after many years of being the best of friends, they make their relationship official
The story had no angst at all.
~They did NOT push each other away.
~They did NOT break up and screw others. ~The hero did NOT screw other women because he didn't have the guts to tell the heroine how he felt
~we didn't have to see sex scenes with hero or heroine and OW/OM
~we did NOT have to hear about dead ex's or any ex's at all for that matter. They were each other's one and only
~hero was NOT a manwhore
~we get a cute little epilogue but it wasn't terribly far into their future though
If you are in the mood for a sugary sweet read. ..maybe you read an especially sad story, or a story with skanky manwhore hero...whatever the case may be, this story would be for you!

Say You’re Mine by Jenika Snow is a very sweet, straightforward story. If you read the blurb, then you practically know what to expect. I won’t reveal much since this is a very short read but if you are fans of Alexa Riley’s books then this book might be on your radar since Jenika Snow did incorporate that best friends to lovers trope and the virgin aspect. This book was enjoyable but I wished the author kept the story line moving forward instead of repeating the lines of “ you’re mine since it was already given. I guess I just wanted an equal balance of sweet and steam when reading these type of light read. But if you are looking for a very sweet best friends romance story, then this book might be for you.

This was a short, simple, no-drama, and sexy read. There was a disclaimer upfront that this read was going to be an exceedingly sweet one and it definitely delivered. Yes, the plot was super simple but it still somehow worked. This was a beautiful friends-to-lovers story that captured that special moment in their lives when two people decided to bring their relationship to the next level. Good one!

This was a quick read but it was so sweet and I loved it. This story tells us about Maggie and Felix who meet when they are both six years old and Maggie moves to town. The second Felix see's Maggie he knows she will be his and that never stops being true. We see them grow and fall in love and I just loved this story. It is short but it was and is worth the read. We get a really nice epilogue and I love that we get both Felix and Maggie's point of views in this book. I will say I wish this book was a little longer just so we could see more of them growing up together. But even without that this is still great read. Felix is crazy possessive and Maggie is determined and in love. All together this is really worth the read and I can't wait to see what book two will be about.

I freaking ADORED these two. Panty melting relationship goals all the way. Maggie and Felix meet when they are 6 years old and Felix already knew she was the one for him. Short and sweet, a double virgin story for those of us out there who are sick and tired of sexist double standards and would like both of our MCs to be virgins for once. Unfortunately, there wasn't much in the way of character or plot development, but what can you do? This one had quite a bit of drawn out angst, but it was still innocent and sweet.

Be warned, this is so sugary you might get diabetes...
This is something I've never ever understood. I get the fear of telling your best friend you're in love with him/her in case he/she doesn't feel the same so even the friendship would be lost. This is something I've never ever understood. I get the fear of telling your best friend you're in love with him/her in case he/she doesn't feel the same so even the friendship would be lost. But you are supposed to know everything about that other person (here they've been together since they were 6) so it amazes me they can't see they're in love with each other.
