If matters weren't complicated enough, his fated, his gesha, appears to him right in the middle of it all. Now, losing is not an option.

Naima is a scientist through and through. She's seen how love can ruin a life and she wants no part of it. Hated female lead

This book had a lot going for it, but I hated Naima so much I could barely finish it. It took 4 days to get through it. She was extremely self centered, reckless, spoiled, hateful, immature and just overall bitchy. When she didn't get her way she turned to hurtful tactics with no remorse our guilt. And who demands to go to battle pregnant...really? This girl wasn't anything near a soldier or possessed anything close to battle experience, but there she is, pregnant as ask get out demanding to participate in a battle against what wad supposed to be the universe's most ruthless villain. But man did she like to bask in the attention of being pregnant...just not the responsibility obviously. And then in the end she decides the life of her child isn't worth more than dying on Braen's lap so fingers crossed, let's hope we survive. The other thing was she claimed earlier on, during the battle, that she couldn't understand or speak Chali, but somehow managed to learn, all by herself in a few minutes during the heat of battle, how to work the Chali ship systems and show down the self destruct process...right. what really hit me though, was this woman who cared so little for the life growing inside her was placed in charge of all life stones throughout the universe as well as what their purpose would be.

All considered, the entire story around Naima was superficial at best with contradictions abound and rarely making sense. This was one if the worst and most unrealistic lead women I've ever read. It's beyond disappointing.

Cold no more

Naima did take a minute to warm up to Braen, which I get, but even so, I think she talked herself out of things too much.

The Fearless has returned even stronger than before and it will take a very special Brion General and his Terran mate to take it down again. The Biron General Braen who has already destroyed the Fearless once has been searching the galaxy for a red headed, green eyed Terran that Audrey Price the Govenor of Verien and mate to a Paladin Warrior has told him he must find before the Fearless does. Naima has been searching with a team of scientists for the lifestone on different planets for the Galactic Union and finally she has found one .Naima has touched the lifestone and is now connected to it and the Fearless can find her. General Braen has finally found the Terran he has been searching for but when they meet he has to change some of his plans as she is his gesha the one destined to be his everything more than just saving the galaxy , she is the reason for his existence. For the Brions finding their gesha is the dream of everyone of them. Now all he has to do is convince his little Terran of that fact and everything will be as it should be. Not going to be as easy as he thought. Thank you to Vi Voxley for the wonderful review copy . Loved it. Can't wait for the next one. Highly recommend this author and her books.

Loved all the other Brion Brides books from this author, but this is my least favorite of them. General Braen is personable, what's not to like about him, but somehow he didn't quite fit the fierceness of the other Generals in my opinion. But the character- Naima, was down right awful, so self-absorbed, whiney, reckless, stubborn, immature, a woman I just could not like all the way to the end of the book. I like my heroines to be likable, or at least have character development to become likable somewhere in the book. I just wasnt riveted to this book like I was the other Brion Bride books. I really felt sorry for the General to get stuck with Naima as his Geisha. There really didn't seem to be the true romance between them either, just his instinctual thing knowing she's his Geisha. I also didnt like to read so much self absorbed thought dialogue in her head from Naima. Also there were a lot of editing mistakes in this book & a lot of repetitiveness to things going on that just seemed to bog the flow down even more. I hate that this book ended up not being a 5 star like I would give most of the other Brion Bride books I've read.

Annoying heroine.

I have quite liked the books in this series so far. Unfortunately this heroine got on my nerves. I felt the hero was head over heels for her for no good reason other than ‘fate’ and although she had a couple of clever ideas, he could’ve done better.

**spoilers**
Basically this heroine decided that she wasn’t capable of loving the hero the way he loved her, because she was too much of a scientist like her dad, who was an indifferent husband. Instead of being honest to the hero about this, she kept denying him and knowingly hurting him emotionally ‘for his own good’ by pushing and pulling. Then she finds out that she’s pregnant and it’s like she suddenly changes her mind and she’s all in. She’s finally honest with the hero at about 70% of the way into the book, and he reassures her in, like 20 seconds of conversation. So. Annoying.

Keeps getting better

I've currently read almost all of the Brion Brides series and I have I'm say that each one successfully out did it's predecessor. The last 3 are currently fighting to be my favorites. Action, adventure and passion beyond compare is what I found in this series. I love the bond and I hope there are more to come.

I'm sorry, I gave up reading after a couple of chapters. It was just so long winded and complicated. I haven't read the earlier books in the series and maybe you need to do that to get a feel for the world. I may go back to the beginning and try but wouldn't recommend starting the series with this one.

Loved this story, just makes you want your very own Brion General. I do t think I'm alone thinking that.

From the start of Naima & Braen's adventure I was hooked. Can't wait to read Kervans story and I'm sure it will be equally as good.

Long story but great world building.

He's fierce and lives to face death. She's a scientist who is very logical except when it comes to the alien General and his beliefs.

I received this book as an ARC for a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we continue Braen's story and we are introduced to Naima Jones. Naima is the girl that Audrey Price saw in the end of Alien Paladin's Woman. Now that Braen has found the other woman that the fearless has seen Naima isn't sure how to feel about all of this. She thought she was just a simple scientist. Little did she know that what knows will help change the galaxy. Can she accept the man and help the universe or will she be unable to accept all that she is destined for?

Braen was understandably shocked when he found out that he didn't kill the fearless he just sent it to it's next reincarnation. Being a Brion though he never showed what he was thinking. He is determined however to make sure this time it will never come back again. This becomes his main priority when the woman he is destined for is connected to it. Braen didn't realize not only would he have to prepare for his next fight with the fearless but also with his gesha. Can he save the galaxy and win the woman who will mean more to him then his own life or will all be lost?

This book is another amazing story in this series. Both people are fighting for what they think is right but both are finding stumbling blocks that they didn't know they would find in their way. There are so many twists and turns that I want to tell you about but don't want to ruin the story for anyone. I will say I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone.

ALIEN GENERAL'S BABY(Brion Brides #7) by Vi Voxley

General Braen is known for his ruthlessness and defending the Brion's in battle and for defeating the Fearless. But his greatest victory turns into his greatest burden, and must once again prove himself. To complicate matters even more, his gesha appears to him whilst he is in the middle of everything. And now he has an even bigger reason win.

Naima Jones is a scientist and finds herself in the middle of a very dangerous situation, and all she wants to do is help with the battle, but been mated to a Brion is another story. She's seen first hand how relationships can destroy people, but ignoring the Brion warrior isn't an option, she just can't resist him.

With an unkillable evil who wants to destroy the galaxy, a Brion warrior, and everyone's lives are in her hands, Naima must make a choice...does she trust her heart or her mind?

Another fantastic read from this author, well developed and written. The storyline is full of action and very entertaining, kept me gripped from beginning to end. I loved the characters who were awesome and kick arse. A very enjoyable story, that I found both exciting and captivating!

I recieved an eARC of this book in exchange for an honest review, and I can honestly say I loved every single page of this book.

Braen is a big, strong, sexy Brion General who has defeated The Fearless in the past and he has been sent to look for a woman who will help him find the next incarnation of this fearsome monster. What he does ot expect is to find his one his geisha.

Naima is a beautiful, feisty, curvy scientist who has been sent to locate a lifestone on this deserted planet when they meet for the very first time.

When these two meet this story is so captivating that you cannot put the book down til you reach the very last page. This book definitely has it all romance, humor, life threatening danger, hot hot hot mating and best of all a fantastic HEA.

The catalyst in this story is incredibly well written and extremely frightening and definitely fits its name as The Fearless, so much so that when it is finally defeated, you can't help but breathe a sigh of relief.

I highly recommend this author, this book and this series to everyone who loves romantic syfy books. I know you will love it as much as I did. Be sure to pick up a copy of this book, you will be very very glad that you did.

The Fearless

This is a great standalone addition to the Brion Brides series, one that Vi Voxley fans and others are sure to love. Brion General Braen is the most recent warrior to kill The Fearless, a form of pure evil. Five years afterward, he receives word the Fearless is back. Braen immediately begins a search for a young Terran scientist, a mineralogist, to help him find the reincarnated Fearless before it becomes invincible.
Naima Jones is on a dive off the research yacht Nautica in a black lake on Mathos IV when she discovers a glowing stone in a cave at the bottom. She inadvertently touches the lifestone, creating a link with another woman who also touched a lifestone, and with the Fearless, who swallowed a lifestone in a former incarnation. But when a Brion general lands on the yacht's deck a short time later, a different type of connection is formed, because the instant Braen looks into her eyes, he knows he's found his gesha. He's heard from other general's that Terrans can be strong willed, but that still hasn't adequately prepared him for the stubborn woman who is destined to help him in his quest.
This is a great KU library read.

This is a great edition to the Brion series. I love how strong and protective those Brion Generals are towards their geshas. In this one, we have a great enemy return who threatens the universe. Braen thought he had defeated it before but now it is regrouping and needs to be destroyed once and for all. It is an intense battle for them all. When he meets his gesha, the desire to defeat his enemy is even stronger. Naima is a scientist and is focused on helping in the battle to come but not so sure about being mated to a Brion. She has a family history that makes her concerned about being in a relationship. They have great chemistry and she finds it hard to resist the attraction to Braen.

I highly recommend the whole series. They are very well written and are not the rush jobs you often find in this genre. The author takes time to develop the storyline and characters and provides a great experience for the reader. Earlier characters from the series are referenced and included but you can still enjoy it as a standalone.

General Braen is a living legend he is a Brion and he defeated the fearless but he knows there is a new one born and it learns everything the old one did so he has to learn how to defeat the new one before it becomes stronger then the old one but when he sees Naima he finds his fated, his gesha. Loved it

Love this series. Love the Brion's, happy to get another story about then. Loved Braen and Naima's story. A direct follow up to Alien Paladin's Women.
General Braen stopped a previous incarnation of the fearless. He is the best choice to take this version on. Using the information from Tieran and Audrey, he sets off looking for the women who Audrey saw in her vision.

Naima Jones is a scientists her team is looking for life stones. When she finds one and touches it she becomes connected to the fearless. When Braen finds her she is in a bad way.

Braen key to finding the fearless is his gesha. While Naima respects his beliefs she doesn't subscribe to them, even knowing Brion's don't lie, and their soul mate bonds are known and well documented by the Union.

A fast paced, steamy and in tense story. Happy Kervan is getting a story. I hope Mila and Waen get one too. Can't wait for Kervan's story!

This is another wonderful story in the series Brion Brides. I have enjoyed the inner action between all the characters in the book. It has some hot sex scenes.
General Braen has beaten the Fearless once before and must do it again. The problem is to kill it so that it can not grow back again larger, stronger and smarter. He must find a woman named Naima who has touched the lifestone. Naima is in space to find a limestone. She touches it causing the Fearless to learn about her. Braen finds her and realizes she is his gesha. He will protect her at all costs. Will these two be able to defeat the Fearless? Will Naima be killed by the Fearless? Will she stop fighting against Braen?
This is a must read if you like mystery, betrayal, conflict and alpha males. It is a 5 star story. “I am voluntarily reviewing a book gifted to me by the author with no obligation.”

A Brion general named Braen had kill the fearless once before. It didn't stay dead. Now he called upon to do it again but to find it he needs the women who came in contact with the lifestone because now she has a connection with all the lifestones and with the fearless too. He just didn't expect her to be his gesha, his heart and his whole world.
On Matthew 4 Naima has found the lifestone in a sea of black water. She touched it now she is connected to all the lifestones everywhere and the monster who wants them and her. Her only hope is the Brion General sent to get her and kill the monster. To bad she doesn't believe in happily ever after.
I loved it. What a awesome syfy romance with fantastic action, drama and spice. The story line is amazing with lots of mystery. Don't miss it. You will not be disappointed it's awesome

ARC - I voluntarily offered to review this book and my opinions are honest!

This book was awesome!
Vi Voxley's storytelling keeps getting better + better.
I hope that she never stops writing about the Brions.
Once I start reading the book, I could not put it down.
Braen is your typical Brion General. Total Alpha male.
Naima is a total scientist. She is always wants to know how something "works"
It is like opposite attracts.
I think that by touching the stone + the connection w/ the Fearless, only made Naima more stronger.
Braen knew that he would be the one to kill the Fearless, but now he had another ever more powerful incentive.
He had his gesha to protect.
Besides the first book w/ Diego, this is my 2nd favorite Brion book by far.
Kudos to Vi Voxley!

The Best Brion Brides book yet!

I don't think there was one thing about this story that I did not like. Even the heroine's form of altruism was something I could understand and felt right for the story. Braden has replaced Faren as my favorite Brion General. He is just that bit different from the other generals but still maintains the core Brionese morals...and arrogance. If you are already a die-hard Brion Fangirl/-boy I guarantee you will NOT be disappointed! For those just venturing into Vi Voxely's fantastic alien adventure, be sure to start with the first in the series. Enough back-story is present in this current book to make it entertaining, but the experience is so much richer when you "know" all the characters fully.

I missed the Brion generals and their brides, and although I LOVE everything by Vi Voxley, the Brion Brides series was my introduction to her books and has a special place in my heart. Braen is the newest of the magnificent Brion warriors to meet his fated mate, but convincing Terran Naima that she is his gesha, bound to him forever, is not going to be easy. In addition, ancient enemy the Fearless (who we first met in Alien Paladin's Woman) is back with plans to capture Naima and exact vengeance on Braen, unless these two extraordinary lovers can stop this evil being once and for all. Alien General's Baby is another outstanding action-adventure romance by this gifted author and I loved it.

Great Read! Vi never disappoints and her Brion Warrior series are very unique and well written. But I want to emphasis that each can be read alone. In this book, as all others in series, a Brion general meets a human woman who is his mate but of course she doesn’t agree and lots of resistance and hot sex for her to finally agree. This book has everything one needs to keep on their toes. There is controversy, sex, adventure, enemies to defeat and true deep love. Character’s from previous books thru, especially the from Paladin’s Woman but again written so that one can easily follow plot and all characters are well plotted out. I highly recommend you read this book and try out several of her other books in this series. Not your normal sci-fi.

Excellent book

Greatly enjoyed this book!!! Just 1 major small problem; grammar!!! There were many mistakes easily taken care of with editing programs. Being a Learning Disabled person I have to be aware of problems that can cause reading to become very difficult for me to finish a book. Unfortunately this was almost one of those times.

Now for the great part!!! The book was exciting, refreshing and full of love. The devotion that between both partners was awe inspiring. The long wait for the general and his gesha, was truly worth waiting for. The power of both beings from other planets and life experiences being able to come together is still exciting to me.

Read the book to discover what it means to be greatly loved and wanted beyond belief. Well worth reading!!!
