What do you do when you find yourself alone in a secluded cabin during a thunderstorm with the hottest man in the state of Texas?
MIRANDA: Who knew that when I took the job at Big Sky Ranch & Spa that I would find the man of my wet dreams? Texas billionaire Conner Blackstone not only looks like a cowboy god, but he’s hung like a wild stallion and wants me to ride him like a bucking bronco.
But I have three little brothers back home to take care of so there’s no way I’m going to let myself get distracted by my boss. I’ve got too much to lose. My virginity. My heart. My family.
This billionaire cowboy will just have to learn how to take no for an answer.
CONNER: I don’t know what’s up with this girl? There are women lined up for miles to get a glimpse of what I’m packing in my jeans. The problem is, I want her. Naked. Submissive. Begging me for more.
But she comes with a lot of baggage. Then again, so do I.
So if she thinks that she can make me feel guilty about my four-year-old orphaned half- brother, then she had better get the hell off my property. I’m not gonna let no woman mess with my life.
Big Bad Cowboy: A Billionaire and a Virgin Romance is by Tia Siren. This is my very first book by Tia. I have voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
At first, Conner Blackstone was hard for me to love. He is rich beyond belief. He is the CEO of Blackstone Enterprises. He took over for his father several years ago. His father is gone now but when Conner was growing up, they did not have a close relationship. His father was too busy running his company and running from one woman to another. As it turns out, Conner is just like him. He works non-stop and fills his nights with a different woman every night.
Conner has recently realized he has a four year old half brother he never knew about. The boy’s mother died and Conner was named guardian. But Conner’s own father barely found time for him. Why should he take in this child? A child his father obviously cared for.
Miranda Carson had to leave school to care for her eighteen year old brother and twin toddler brothers when her dad and step mom died. Her job at Red Lobster is barely keeping them above water. Let alone making a dent in the pile of student loans she has. So when her best friend tells her about a job at Big Sky Ranch & Spa as a massage therapist for one month, she jumps at the chance. The pay is fantastic and it will definitely help make their lives easier.
It’s on her very first day that a cowboy comes in for a massage but makes it clear he wants a lot more than that. He is arrogant as heck but wow, is he gorgeous. But Miranda wants nothing more than to work hard this month and go home to her brothers.
Conner can’t get the woman he met out of his head. And she turned him down! Then again, she didn’t know who he was. He is determined to have her, no matter what he has to do.
I really did love this! Like I said, Conner was hard to love at first, but once you get to know him and realize why he is the way he is, I couldn’t help but fall for him. And Miranda! You can’t help but to love her and all she has had to sacrifice for her brothers. This is a short and oh so sexy story. I’m surprised at how much the author managed to pack in the pages. I’m so glad I got the chance to read this!
Having seen some fabulous reviews for this book I decided to give it a try, while I assumed it would be a short book I didn't realise it would be quite this short. I downloaded from Amazon kindle unlimited and started reading but I wasn't prepared for it to end at just 4% and I hate it when this happens especially with no warning. Connor Blackstone is an incredibly successful billionaire he inherited his father's company and he's taken it through the roof but now he discovers he has a young half-brother who he wants nothing to do with. Connor feels hurt his father never had time when he was young, he was too busy building the company and Connor was left. So we know why Connor's the way he is but it was still difficult to find anything likeable about him. Miranda Carson had to quit college at the age of twenty-two to became the legal guardian to two-year-old twins and her fifteen-year-old brother. Life for Miranda has gone from bad to worse and she's really struggling, living in a rundown apartment and working as a waitress at Red Lobster. So when she gets the opportunity to earn a lot of money working as a masseuse for two months she takes it. The rest goes as expected and what's here isn't bad it's just too short and seems jumpy at times.
This is not a romance story. This is more backstory than anything. And romance? What romance? Conner was a piece of shit who calls Miranda a whore and a bitch. He's hot and cold, and completely unlikable. Oh and let's not forget that he thinks of women as nothing more than orifices, constantly referring to the time that he got a blowie here, did a masseuse up the bum there. #dreamboat, am I right?
I don't know what happened at 75% but all of a sudden Conner was in love with Miranda and Miranda turns out to be able to deep throat 10 inches of cock without ever having done it before.
The "dirty talk" in this was cringe worthy and not sexy in the slightest.
The way this story is structured was odd, it had the set up for a story much longer than it was, and it didn't feel cohesive.
This was readable, but not enjoyable. Tia Siren can write, but these characters were horrid and their personalities changed as frequently as the wind.

This was my very first book by author Tia Siren. It was a short, fast paced story about two vastly different people, both in personality and life status.
Connor was a little difficult for me to warm up to. He was arrogant, crass and treated women like trash. We had the pleasure of seeing and hearing some of his "finer" moments when it came to how he treated women -
He was raised by a man who treated women just as poorly so it wasn't shocking he did the same. I was so glad that Miranda did put him in his place and didn't fall into bed with him after he talked to her that way. Once he was intimate with the heroine, be seemed to calm down and was good to her.
Miranda was likable. She had lost her mother at a young age. She and her younger brother were left with their father. He remarried and had twins when she was 18. Two years later, her dad and stepmother die and she is left with a teenage brother and 2 year old twin brothers. She quit school and took on the responsibility of raising them. She needed to make extra money to finish her last semester of school and provide for her brothers. Which is what put her into Connor's path.
-raging manwhore hero -virgin heroine - you knew this from the title -steamy sex scenes -no ow or om drama whatsoever -brief epilogue with a HFN ending
There was a separation of several weeks and it isn't specified that he was with anyone else during that time so I'm assuming he was not. The incidents with the flight attendant was BEFORE he even met the heroine.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. Thank you!
Ok, after sleeping on this a bit I decided I'm just going to write my review as I always do. Honestly.
I liked this book at the start. The Hero is a Douche!!! Holy hell I wanted to throat punch him, but I love my heroes like that. I'm glad that the heroine didn't put up with it. I hoped she would have given him a little longer of a chase but after putting him in his place the first day he toned himself down. That's just it though. Once they finally get together we are at the end and i was disappointed in how fast it ended.
Ok so our hero is a selfish jerk, man whore and refuses to get to know his young 5 year old brother and wants to pay him off to get out of his life.
The heroine is a struggling waitress who is responsible for her 3 younger brothers. She has put her life on hold to take care of her siblings since her parents passed. She gets a great job opportunity that will help her pay bills and finish her degree. She works as a masseuse in a high end country club/ranch for the summer. The hero owns the ranch and goes there to unwind since he has to make a decision about his brother and wants nothing to do with him.
As he's getting a massage he propositions her and she shuts him down, tells him off and walks out. He does try to make it up to her and they spend the next day just talking and hanging out. They get stuck in a barn due to the weather and have sex. Next day he leaves. Time goes on, she goes home, doesn't really hear from him until one day he just shows up.
He has his brother, he's a completely changed man and she says yes to his proposal. My questions: how did he change? When did they fall in love? What happened between leaving the barn to now? How did he go from just wanting sex to HEA?
I will say had the book been just a little bit longer I would have loved it. Still, I enjoyed it and would love to read the next book.
My first book by this author and I quite enjoyed it. A smutty read which was sweet and quick. The sweetness exceeded the smut and I appreciated that.
Dint think there would be much to reclaim and like about the manhoe H who was also a complete jerk, but I was pleasantly surprised. There was actually some character development and you do get involved in the back-stories. The H had daddy issues and still turned out to be just like the father he hated. He resents his newly discovered 4 years old half brother and refused to even meet him. And this is in contrast with the h who is ready to make any sacrifices for her 3 minor brothers after their parents died.
They meet at his ranch (also dude ranch & spa) where the busy billionaire makes a rare stopover and meets the masseuse and his match, the virgin with an attitude. The one who could look the snake in the eye (pun, yes!) and say no.
I think I have developed a fetish for billionaires and cowboys lately, and when I met Connor Blackstone, I thought he was such an Alpha male personified. But on the first few pages of getting to know him, I was majorly disappointed with his attitude - brooding, jerk, arrogant, playboy extraordinaire who thought so highly of himself. He treated women like tools, like piece of rubbish. Plus, he blamed his equally philanderer dead father for having to acknowledge and raise his long lost half brother. Gahd, I hated Blackstone in an instant. Miranda, however, was a virgin who had been struggling financially as she tried to raise her three brothers after their parents died. I didn't like Miranda either at first, because she outright blamed her own father for the misfortune that befell on her.
There were a lot of things in common between the two, except for their social and financial status. And when these two met, worlds collide and Miranda finally put Connor in his rightful place.
I liked how it ended between them, Connor realizing his faults and Miranda finally accepting where she belonged. This was a short read, a little slow at first but eventually picked up the pace at the latter part of the story. Definitely hot and steamy too, although I would have preferred if this was longer, because there was so much promise with Mr. Blackstone's side of story. I would love to know more about his little half-brother and Miranda's rebellious brother Scotty. Nevertheless, this was a nice and dandy read!
I was going to dnf, but it finished before I could.
Just gross. I can take some sexy talk although I am really glad I read on my phone or my computer so no one ever knows, but this was just ick. They meet twice; they have gorilla sex or something; he leaves; he proposes.
Sensual, enjoyable, story like a hot fantasy!! I really liked this quick story and it's characters Conner and Miranda.
Miranda's life wasn't looking very promising until fate drove her into the arms of a playboy Conner who was used talk dirty and expecting all the women to fall into their knees for him but well he found his match and the only woman who turned his flirt down.... that drove him nuts... no one said love is easy but it's definitely steamy and very sexy if i can count the scenes that the author has created...
If you're looking for something sweet, hot and quick erotic romance then this story is definitely for you, i certainly enjoyed it and i'm looking forward to read the next story the author will create!!

This was my first book to read from this author. It's a short fast paced read, and I have to admit after reading it twice I still can say I didn't really like it.
The story was a good one, don't get me wrong about that, but I absolutely hated the hero in this book.
Connor is a cocky a$$ who thinks he's gods gift to women. He's filthy rich and plays by only his rules. He doesn't care about anyone but himself, and treats women as if they are an object to be used.
Miranda was a likable character. Although life has thrown many hardships her way she still finds a way to make sure her brothers don't go without.
The ending of the book was pretty abrupt. He left Big Sky Ranch & Spa without much explanation to Miranda after having a night with her. Then comes back and proposes his love for her and need for her to be his wife. Kinda felt a bit rushed as if the author was just trying to wrap up the story as fast as possible.
**Received this ARC in exchange for a voluntary review** Wish this story was longer, seemed like it was missing some info. Really didn't like Conner's attitude whatsoever but liked how Miranda would put him in check. Loved Miranda n I also liked Conner's best friend. Overall, not a bad story but not a great story either.
"I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book."
IDK. I didn't really like Conner. When you don't like the MC it hard to like the book. Also a little thing that bothered me was the Use of analogies.(There was a lot) This is a Insta-Love but I didn't feel the connection between them.
Miranda is a woman that took guardianship of her 3 younger brothers after her dad and step mom died in a car accident. Having her to quit college just semesters before graduating to work in jobs with low pay. It’s a struggle but she is making it work. Then her best friend gets her a job for a month at Big Sky Ranch & Spa where she will be a masseuse. She will make more money in a day than a week at her other job. So, she takes a month leave so she can try to get ahead of some bills.
Conner has his own set of problems being CEO of Blackstone Enterprises where Big Sky Ranch & Spa is part of the enterprise. Finding out his father had a 5-year-old child at the time of his death 8 months ago and that he was now this child’s guardian. He wants no part of this child’s life since it will interfere with his playboy ways, but the will states that he must take care of his new half-brother. Conner decides he wants a massage and goes and Miranda gives him one but he thinks she should give him a bit more than a massage and states something cruel about sucking or riding his big cock. Miranda has no clue he is the owner of Big Sky Ranch & Spa turns down his advance. Once finding out who he is she thinks he is going to fire her.
Conner then decides she is the woman that he wants and goes after her. How do you say? A must read to see if Conner can change Miranda’s mind about him and what happens with her brothers and Conner’s newly founded half-brother?
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book. I love reading Tia Siren's books. They keep getting better and better.
I'm a little disappointed that the characters (and by extension the author) were constantly trying to claim Conner as alpha this and alpha that. If he was anything he was an jackhole! I couldn't like him even the tiniest bit. Nothing redeeming at all in the way he treated others. He was basically every single disgusting cliche of the male gender that you warn your daughters about. All of them. And maybe some I hadn't realized.
Absolutely no character build. Nothing. We have convenient cameos of Miranda's brothers in the beginning (a page or two tops) to really hit home why she is so desperate and then they conveniently get dropped off with an aunt. The blurb really built this up to be more meaningful. I wasn't even looking for anything too deep... this was so shallow my big toe didn't even get damp. The author obviously didn't know the characters well or just didn't care because Miranda goes from stereotypical gorgeous virgin wallflower who references her vagina as "down there..." to "stick your big ___ in me!" *insert droll look here* This was like every awkward porno movie I giggled about as a teen all rolled into one. My head is spinning and I wish it were for a better reason.
Hit 4%, had a headache from my constant eyerolling, and had to throw in the towel... so to speak.
I honestly hate to review bad but if you purchase a book based on the description provided you should be warned if that is absolutely not what is delivered.
Right from the start this one drew me in. I was in a funk and found this beauty and feel in love with the heroine. Her determination, her love for her family, the heart break she had to go through and the growing up she had to do so fast made he an amazing lead.
So Miranda was great. I loved her inner dialogue at the start of the book because it not only gave us a feel for the story but also we got absence of who she was, the growing up she had to do. Even though it's not what she wanted her attitude towards what was tossed on her plate was very respectful. She didn't do a lot a bellyache and because of outcomes or how her life turned out. She earned my respect and I truly loved her as a heroine.
The hero was cold, he needed to find compassion and the heroine was the one to provide that and helped he be less..... mean/rude. He was totally the opposite of the heroine in so many ways but together they clicked.
Wanda Jean was an awesome secondary character, along with Wesley, the banter thy shared with the main characters helped us see them are better people.
I loved the plot, it had the perfect mix of dirty to real problems that people can encounter. Your heart feels for the characters.
The dirty talk wasn't my favorite. The author put too much stock into her being a virgin and it annoyed me a little bit/ that's why I gave it 4 stars. It was a quick read, the ending went a little fast, but it was still enjoyable. 4 stars #2OCCJD
Big Bad Cowboy is a charming and amusing short story. I liked reading it. Tia Siren tells the story of Miranda and Conner very eloquently. Miranda is struggling to earn the livelihood for herself and her brothers, Conner is a cold-hearted billionaire who only sees himself and who is not very concerned about his fellow men. When both meet, it sizzles quite nicely. If, however, the two should become a pair, Conner must change tremendously.
I thought I was getting a story about what was on the cover- Billionaire and Virgin, but it is just a bunch of not very good short story in all different genres. Now this is one of my pet peeves when it comes to buying books. I absolutely HATE to buy a book and then find out I was tricked into thinking it was something it's not. I won't be buying any more of this authors books because I can't trust what will be in it.
Conner is a billionaire playboy, who can have any woman he wants, until he meets the lovely but also feisty, Miranda. He is so arrogant and believes everything should come his way. Miranda is a 24 year old Virginia but that doesn't stop her from the fantasises that she does. She is struggling to care for her 3 younger brothers and is offered a job at Big Sky Ranch & Spa. Which will help tremendously towards the care of her brothers, who she loves wholeheartedly! While there she meets Conner, not knowing who he is at first and puts him in his place! Conner is totally shocked that she is not jumping straight on him, like everyone else does. And he likes it and is determined to have her! There is something about Miranda that soothes Conner and helps him lower is defense and be vulnerable. She helps him see how much of a douche he has been in the past. She tells him of her love for family and it makes Conner think of his half brother. She makes him realise that he wants the same bond with his brother even though he was against it in the beginning. He wants to lavish the love on him he was never really shown by his own father. I really enjoyed this sweet, heart warming story. I loved how the love of a good woman made her see what it was that he needed in life himself. The epilogue was just the sweetest ending to the book. Being as greedy as I am, I didn't want this book to finish! I wanted more! A quick and fun light read.
I voluntarily reviewed this book in exchange for an advanced copy
Conner is a billionaire playboy who can have any woman he wants and is so arrogant he believes he deserves everything his way. Miranda is a 24 year old Virgin but that doesn't stop her fantasies, struggling to care for her 3 younger brothers she is offered a job at Big Sky Ranch & Spa for a month which will more than help her finances. There she meets Conner on her first day not knowing who he is she puts him in his place which has never happened to him before. Miranda makes Conner think a different way and helps him lower his defence and be vulnerable but he doesn't like that it makes Conner think of his half brother. I really enjoyed this heart warming story that has the right amount of humour and heat for all the characters.
This was my first book By Tia Siren. I could not put it down... Big Bad Cowboy: A Billionaire and Virgin Romance is a fast read. I started it this morning and finished it this morning. It left me wanting more. Miranda is our leading lady who becomes the legal guardian of her brothers. She tries to do everything for them. She takes a chance to go and work for Big Sky Ranch & Spa to make some extra money to support her brothers. Little does she know she's going to run into the owner Conner. Conner doesn't want the family that he has. One amazing night later Conner is rethinking his views.
I never go below a three star, simply because an author out themselves out there and deserves some respect on that front.
I really wanted to like this book. It started out promising, 4% later it's over. Say whaaaa? It's like you blink, take a yawn, and it's over.
Like others mention, the male was a straight douche, but if you enjoy alpha male books, you know there will be some redeemable qualities along the way. It was wham, bam, thank ya ma'am, he leaves, and then weeks later shows up on her step, the end.
Not sure what this was? Erotica for sure but.... hmmmmm......great premise that I just wanted more of. I couldn't even say there was romance even. It was more like---you're hot....I'm a virgin....I want you.....spend the night together....let's get married. My head was spinning. Short read that would have been so much better with more time spent on the story.
Not much to it, very short and very short on good content. Just enjoy more intense, thrilling books where the sex involved is more natural I believe. Guess it may just be me.
A short story about a girl having to take care of her brothers and finding a job as a masseuse. Guy is very rude. I was confused as to what was going on.
I wasn't sure if I would like this book or not, but I gave it a try anyways. I'm so glad I did. This book is just like all of Tia Siren's book I've read-I didn't want to put it down even when I was so angry at Conner for how he treated Miranda. It was definitely worth the time I invested in it.
Billionaire, CEO, scoundrel Conner has very little use for family and very little respect for women, but when he meets Miranda, a new hire at his ranch/spa resort, she puts him in his place and gives back as good as she gets. He’s accustomed to women falling to their knees, but instead she spun on her heels and headed for the door.
Miranda is a young woman who was just finishing up college, when her parents were both killed. She suddenly found herself as the guardian to twin 4 year olds and a miserable 15 year old. Miranda lives to provide for her little brothers, working long days as a waitress, but never quite making enough to get comfortable.
When a job opportunity comes up at a spa resort, she jumps at the chance for the short term/high paying job, but on her first day ends up telling off her new boss after he lewdly propositioned her.
Conner, not willing to take no for an answer, tries a different tactic to get Miranda’s attention and sets out to get to know her better. They spend an incredible night in a log cabin during a storm, but then go their separate ways. Miranda sees that although they definitely have sexual chemistry, they don’t neccessarily have the same priorities in life.
Can Conner be the family man that Miranda needs him to be? Or will he stick with what he knows and never get a real happy ending?
Very quick and dirty billionaire romance with a heartwarming ending. Standalone with a HEA.
