If you believe in fairytales then my f*cking story isn't for you. You can read it if you'd like. But I could give two sh*ts if you do. I'm a monster. In the world I come from you should never judge a book by it's cover. The lambs looked like lions and the lions looked like lambs. I was raised in the mafia. Violence was nothing to me. Being the son of an abusive Bravta solider I was born to fight and taught to kill. I fled Russia because my father wanted me dead. I spared his life because I'd never make my mother cry. I learn my lesson quick. You can't outrun everything. The Chinkov' family wasn't willing to let me go. I won't beg for my life but I'd fight to keep it. Especially after I met Val. I mind as well be the f*ucking gingerbread man, the Bratva was after me. Catch me if you can.

I never thought a villain would be so intriguing. Rustam's arrogance is his charm. I LIVE for Val's attitude. You can tell she doesn't take any sh*t. Them two together is such a bad romance. It makes you wonder what if the villain got the girl in the end. I guess this is a new era where the good girl falls for the bad guy.
The story let's you know that women who don't take crap, are meant for arrogant men. Because Val changed him, he was arrogant at first but once she stuck her claws in him he couldn't do anything about it. Their banter is the best part of the story, they always say if you fight like an old married couple it's a match! The author shows you the difference between them and the struggles they've both been through. Great story!
Damn! Nalla took me on an amazing rollercoaster with Rustam and Valentina and I couldn't get enough! Brilliantly executed novel with enough twists and turns to make this girl gaps and guessing!
The story kept me engaged and the characters were on a whole other scale, I absolutely adore them and I can't wait to see what "Catching Fire" has to offer me!
Ru and Val were a hoot! Their banter was so entertaining. Even though they both wanted each other, they fought like cats and dogs. I enjoy books that follow characters over years, so this was a lot of fun to read. Val was a good girl and Ru was a bad boy that took every chance he could to corrupt her. They had great chemistry even though they weren't officially a couple. This was a fun read that leaves the reader with questions and the ending leaves the reader wanting those questions answered. The formatting needs a little work. It was hard to decipher which dialogue belonged to each character.
I honestly loved the novel. The main characters are hilarious. I wish I had Valentina's sarcasm. Rustam... I think I'm craving Russian food, or Turkish. He's a bit arrogant, but not to the point of annoyance. The arrogance actually made me like him. He pushed Valentina's buttons in ways that made me wish I had my own Russian. I can't wait to see what happens next with these two.
