Deadbase was a guide book put out anually that contained a database of every (known) Dead show with dates, locations, set lists and reviews. It was a great resourse for identifying mislabeled tapes, tracking down "killer" shows, and generally wasting huge amounts of time in lew of doing your homework. If I had spent as much time studying my science text book as I did pouring over this book I would probably have a Phd in astrophysics. Good times.
