Heartbeat of the Block 2: A Street King's Love

Lu and Brasi are back again!!!! This couple just keeps coming for you. The storyline and suspense in this edition is awesome and edge of your seat just wondering what will happen next. I am trying to debate who is the snake I have two people in mine I just don't know which way the author will go but great series.

The second book was good, but it was more of Wren and Breon's love story. Even though Wren was a goon, he had a soft spot for Breon. After Breon had given herself to Wren, she thought that maybe, he was interested in other women. Curiosity gotten the best of her, and she bit off more than she could chew. I'm interested to know, when and if Breon will give her heart to Wren after discovering the other side of him.
Things are much more complicated between Lu and Brasi, with Brasi being incarcerated. The decisions are left between Lu and Wren, but it's just not the same without Brasi. Lu is normally one of the strongest out of the bunch, but with Brasi not around, she's always in her feelings. Also, the arrangement that Brasi was forced into with the warden, Brasi or Lu wasn't feeling it. The warden just seemed as if she was behind anything that's young, that would put it on her, and unfortunately neither Wren nor Brasi was interested.
I love Joc, and she fit right in with Wren and the clique. It's unfortunate that she only came down when Brasi was incarcerated. She looked beautiful, had a body to die for, but don't let the persona fool you, she was down for whatever. I knew to be Lu's friend, she couldn't have been right in the head, and she loved Lu just liked Lu loved Brasi, and her precious Breon. I can't wait until Brasi and Joc to meet each other, I just know, that the three amigos would be getting into all types of trouble.
Poor Chrissy had lost her mind. After all the things that Maverick done, this was the one that broke the camel's back. It seemed as if she had snapped, because of all of her husband's infidelities, and it was going to take a long time for both of them to recover. I know he's learned his lesson, if he wakes up. I just hope that Chrissy doesn't end up in jail, because she was the victim. Kela ended up getting the worst end of it, she represented all the women that done Chrissy wrong. She had it all, and threw it away, when all she had to do was keep her legs closed to married men, but she finally messed with the wrong husband.

I would have been finished with this book but one of my love ones passed away and I had to take several days to get my mind together. I'm loving where the series is going. What I love about A'Zayler is her characters are so very different in each series but they still drawn you in and make you love them. Wren and Breon are working on communication, but I'm ready for them to go a little deeper in the next one. I'm glad Brasi and Lu finally gave each other a fair shot. I feel bad for Chrissy and Kela, so we'll see what happens in part 3.

Breon and Wren are soo cute together. Can't believe the foolishness going on with the crew though. Lu got some patience becuase I would've gone up top on the warden as soon as she popped stupid forget all that other stuff. Brasi knew better then to think Lu was just going to be cool with that. The drama just keeps on rolling. Hope that everything works out.

Its getting better !!
From part 1 I wanted more of breon and wren and I got my wish .The only thing that's racking my brain trying to figure was it breon father who put brasi in prison off to read part 3 to find out . Im enjoying this series

Great book
Why couldn't Breon just not be nosey and go to work like she was supposed to. She knows the kind of man Wren is so to see him in action shouldn't stun her so bad. She is not build for the street life because she is so green but she chose to love a street dude. I'm still unclear on who told on Brasi and what he's going to trial for. I hope they all weather the storm and make it out alive and out of jail.

Loved it, great book!!!
Loved it, this was a great book. I just love the whole gang and Joc fit right on in. Uzoma gonna get her attitude right, lol. The crew is crazy for real, a judge really, lol. I hope Breon is okay. Kela finally met that witch named Karma, or rather Chrissy. Chrissy snapped for real, i wonder will Maverick make it? Can't wait for part 3.

This was so good! Lawd these men in this book are everything, I'm ready for Brasi to get out and hoping that someone is pregnant. I wanted Joc and Uzoma together and Zino needs someone, I hope Breon will understand why Wren did what he did in the courtroom and they're fine maybe she's pregnant. I need part 3 asap!

This author always make you feel the love and connection with her characters and I felt the love with Wren and Breon. They are so perfect for each other. I'm so ready for the next installment I need to know how everything will fall in place
