Officer Sinead O'Hara was just answering a house alarm call. She couldn't have predicted the man standing at the front door was going to change her life forever.
David Whitemore, a hot, rich, Brit is completely out of her league. When he suddenly asks her out, Sinead decides to shake up her dull, boring life. Who wouldn't want to be Cinderella for a day?
David is the kind of man she can't say no to. The kind of man who pushes her limits in and out of bed. The kind of man she can't help falling in love with.
The kind of man who leaves her heart in ruins once Sinead discovers his secrets.
She wanted him. She trusted him. He betrayed her. Now she wants revenge.
So the hero cons the heroine and she goes back for revenge... it's catnip. The first half of the book is just waiting for the shoe to drop... it's fun and sexy. Fast-paced. Get it!!!
This book was such a surprise! I was expecting a straightforward romance featuring a billionaire and a cop, but in reality got so much more! This story took turns that were really unexpected, but great! I loved the characters and would absolutely love to see a book featuring Mary, David's sister and Flynn, David's business partner. And Sinead and David burn up the pages! Sinead is not to be trifled with!
S. Doyle's written another fantastic book. I can't believe I waited this long to read it!
Story of David/Declan and Sinead. Love the cop and criminal trope. Although, he’s not really a criminal but I don’t want to spoil it for anyone. But he does stuff that’s mostly against the law. He asked her out and they clicked and within weeks, they’re declaring their love for each other. Unfortunately, this is when he ghosted her and she flipped!
True, it’s a little OTT but I liked it anyway. I enjoyed how the h was a good detective and found out clues. I liked that she was pissed and used that as a fuel to find him. I like the MC a lot. He’s sweet, protective, and loving. Once he decided Sinead was it for him, he was all in. Loved it!
This book didn't get as many stars as the other Doyle books but I still enjoyed it. Let's just say right when I started to get bored Doyle through a wrench to make sure I was awake and awake I was!!!!
Talk about twist. Pretty sure I yelled out loud when that happened. I was pissed! So good. The ending was rather weakish, but the beginning and middle were great.
This is called Catching the Billionaire on KU. No matter the name, it reminded me of my favorite Harlequin Blaze (Ms. Match) with lots of snappy dialogue, lots of Hot and a twist. So glad I stumbled onto it.
This was a wonderful love story between two complicated, basically very good people, both with Irish blood. I could keep reading about them, forever. How about a series of Declan and his wife's adventures much like J.D. Robb's stories? Enjoy!!!
I loved it.. the secrets and emotional feelings you get with this book is amazing. Well written and came together to make this book so good you must read it!
