Dr. John Hardwicke is known as "Professor Hotness" around Moultrie College.
And I'm his student. Professor Hardwicke is head of the Political Science department, which just so happens to be my major.
He's the man who can make all my dreams come true ... in the classroom AND the bedroom.
He's also my father's best friend.
So I doubt he looks at me the way I look at him ... or does he?
When my parents decide to go on an anniversary trip during my Thanksgiving break, it puts me in a bind. I have nowhere to go ... until the professor offers me a place at his table.
And on his c*ck.
Things just got a lot more complicated for this co-ed. But when it comes to the professor, this student is the highest of achievers. I always make the grade.
WARNING: This book is HOT. Steamy. Deliciously wrong. Don't feel even a little bit guilty if it turns you on... that's the whole point, beautiful. Treat yourself to a sexy little escape. I promise not to tell.
Sylvia Fox writes steamy stories about alphas who aren’t afraid of taking what they want, and the women who love them. Each release is a stand alone with a guaranteed happily ever after. Cliff hangers and brooding angst won’t be found here — Sylvia prefers a man who delivers a good spanking and a diamond ring.
The start was promising. I liked the heroine's background and the writimg. But the hero came across as a bit creepy and I never felt their connection. Normally age gap romances/smut work for me. But I didn't find this one sexy.
"When I fuck you," he said as he pushed himself inside me again. "I want you to call me Uncle John. remember when you used to call me that?"
"I thrashed and squealed, my ass orgasming around his tongue."
Yup trying one more and then I'm done for a while. Maybe I will finish my other books that I'm currently reading. Cause man this UNCLE BOOK WAS NOT FOR ME!
This is my first book from author Sylvia Fox and I LOVED it! It is a short story, but I felt that she did a good job with defining the characters. The sex scenes were pretty hot that I re-read a few of them over again. This may be my first book from Me. Fox but it definitely is not the last. I'm heading over to Amazon now to find another...
A new author that I have discovered was Sylvia Fox. I fell in love with the titles and covers and ended up getting the whole of her list. She is now someone who will be on my automatic buy list. One of my favorite erotic reads is the whole Teacher or in this case Professor/Student relationship. In Mentor Me, Professor we meet Jo/Joey aka Josephine. She has been busy studying, and her best friend Alexis tells her she needs to get laid. College boys don't interest her, though; her attraction lies in an older man - Professor John Hardwicke. The thing is though that John is old enough to be her father, he is, in fact, her Dad's best friend since their college days, and he has known Josephine all of her life including the day she was conceived. When Jo's Thanksgiving plans fall through as her parents are off on holiday, she ends up crashing with the Professor in his Cabin over the holiday break. During this time, the pair's chemistry sizzles and a forbidden sexual romance starts to brew. I have to admit, I didn't mind the whole Professor/Student romance angle but what I didn't enjoy and found hard to read as it really doesn't do anything for me is the fact that John wanted Jo to call him her Uncle John or Daddy during sex, which to me Age play is gross. When the vacation is over, will this romantic encounter be just a holiday fling or will it develop into something more? When the truths are revealed, what will Jo's family and friends think of what has happened? Find out in Mentor Me, Professor by Sylvia Fox. A book which has everything from Teacher/Student relationships to BDSM and Age Play with an underlining sweet romance factor.
I liked everything about this one except when he asked her to call him 1. Uncle john (I have an uncle john and I was uncomfortable) and 2.daddy (because no just no) while fucking her
Second book by Sylvia Fox and while it is clear that she follows a formula that she repeats in each of her books it didn't stop my enjoyment of this one. Also this was a FREEBIE on amazon. If you like the whole dad's best friend sexy-taboo storyline then you will love this.
Josephine, aka Jo, is enjoying college, though she's serious about her education and her dream to one day run a presidential campaign. Though her best friend and roommate, Alexa, regularly tells her she needs to relax and have fun, but due to a not quite all she thought it would be with her ex-boyfriend, Connor, she isn't in a rush to experiment it again, even though she still wishes for the fantasy. When she applies to, and gets accepted at, her parents' alma mater, she didn't expect her Dad's best friend and former college roommate, Dr. Hardwicke, John, was the dean of the Political Science department, meaning he and Jo would need to work closely together.
When Jo learns her parents will be gone for Thanksgiving, and John offered to let her stay with him instead of at the house alone due to some robberies, Jo isn't sure what to expect. She's nervously excited because there's so many things that could go wrong or right.
As John and Jo spend time together, their attraction overwhelms them until they can no longer deny what they feel for each other. They both know the journey in front of them won't be easy, but it just feels so right to be with one another.
What happens when Jo's parents learn that they're together? That they're going to be grandparents? What about the college? Student/professor relationships are forbidden, will John lose his job? Will Jo need to leave school? Will John and Jo find a way to make it work, earning their HEA?
One-click now and follow these two as they risk everything just for a chance to be with each other.

This is an extremely hot, hot, hot taboo love story.
Josephine has had a crush on her Dad’s best friend, Professor John Hardwicke, for years now, but her fantasies about him are becoming much more adult in nature, both while she is awake and asleep. She doesn’t have any reason to believe the feelings are reciprocated, but she’s happy to always spend time with him when she can.
John is a professor at the same college Josephine attends. When her parents decide to take a last minute trip to Europe and leave her alone on campus for Thanksgiving, John is quick to offer his guest room and his company for the holiday weekend.
As they spend more one on one time together as adults, they realize that they have a great deal in common and that the conversation flows easily despite the age difference. They also quickly begin to realize that there is an insanely strong physical attraction between the two of them. John and Josephine give into their desires and this results in an extremely steamy weekend in John’s secluded mountain cabin. Josephine is very inexperienced with men and John has particular tastes and is virtually insatiable in the bedroom, but he is very willing to be patient and teach her everything she needs to learn and she is more than willing to be an eager student.
John and Josephine know that this is not just a fling. They believe that this could be IT. They just aren’t sure how her parents, their friends or the college will react to Josephine getting involved with a professor twice her age. Will they be able to make it work?
Extremely sexy older man/younger woman novella with a very HEA. No angst, no drama, just a fun, fast and very steamy book. Standalone.
Decent as far as the genre goes. Male leads like this are dangerous to expectations for real men. I just have to keep reminding myself, these storybook men are fictional. They do not exist.
Another hit by Sylvia Fox!! I love a dads best friend taboo book!! John was always a fantasy of Josephine since she had her first wet dream, lol. But she never thought he ever had any desires for her. She quickly realizes that's not the case during a impromptu sleepover at the Professors home. This is a no angst, hot & quick read!!
I received a ARC copy of this book for a honest review
I'm not a fan of Daddy/little girl role-play but this time, to my tremendous surprise, I actually liked it. A lot. The story was intriguing, the chemistry between main characters was amazing and sex scenes were scorching hot.
This is a great short story with an older man and younger women. Gotta love those kinds of books. :) I voluntarily read an Advanced Review Copy of this Book
At first, this one seemed to be a bit better than the previous ones - finally, something was a bit different here, and the characters seemed just a tad more developed.
But... well, let's just say that the sex scenes read like a bad kind of porno. Maybe I'd be a little more nicer if I didn't just read a bit of Pornland by Dines for school, but after that... Reading Pornland made me a bit sick at the description of what porn actress go through in hardcore porn, and reading Professor, it just made me remember it.
I mean, the main heroine even describes herself as merely a "set of holes for him to fill" (or something similar - and this is exactly how hardcore porno makes men see other women), and honestly, this is a problem with this series in general (aside from the sometimes creepy age difference, where the main hero knew heroine even when she was a little kid), the women always bag the men and suddenly it's just "I don't care about school, career, anything, I'm just someone he has sex with and that's all I want to be" and yeah, sure, for some women, that might actually be the goal. That's fine. But I really don't want to read a set of books from one author where literally every heroine feels this way and where all of them, in the end, only exist to please the men.
Like sure, it's just a little erotica for fun, right? Why am I so stingy about it? Read it and move on. But I just... I hate this, to be honest. I hate that every heroine is described this way and that there's not even an attempt at giving them both a man and a career, or even a freaking life outside that man and giving that man one baby after another. There. Thank you, let's move on now.
This was the first book that I have read by Sylvia Fox and it won't be the last. This book contains some sexual taboos, so if you are looking for a sweet tame romance, it isn't for you.
Josephine is planning to visit her parents for the Thanksgiving holidays when she finds out that they are going to be away. Rather than be alone, she goes to stay with her Dad's best friend and college roommate John. What starts out to be an innocent holiday together quickly turns into a deep sexual attraction that neither can nor want to walk away from.
Josephine & John can't keep their hands off of each other and have rough, passionate all consuming sex that is made even more hot and erotic because of the many taboo elements that are coming together with them having sex. There is John's relationship with her Dad, their age difference and because John is a Professor at the college where Josephine attends. But neither of them has ever experienced anything like this before and they aren't about to stop now.
This is a quick and easy hot sexy read that you won't be disappointed with!!! I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review and originally posted this on another website on November 19, 2016.
I literally read this book in like, an hour. It was kind of awful and ridiculous, like parts of it were so bad that they were actually comical? I'll admit, some parts were hot, and I did like the premise, but...wow.
All I can say is that this book was free and short, and I needed to get up my goodreads goal! It was all so unrealistic and cheesy and laughable, I mean 'Uncle John', really?
Some of the scenes were pretty hot, but it all happened way too quickly, the reactions of Jo's parents were totally unrealistic, they literally found out she was pregnant, got engaged and did whatever else in like two pages. Don't think I'll be picking up any of her other books as they all sound the exact same (a girl fucking her dad's best friend).
Jo Faulkner has a crush on her dad's best friend, John, and what she doesn't know is that the feeling is mutual. John is a professor at the college Jo attends. When Jo has to spend Thanksgiving Break with John, the truth comes to light. The two have to decide if a relationship is worth the consequences: the school policy, the age difference, and Jo's parents' reaction to their relationship.
I didn't mind the big age gap. She was a college student and he was the same age as her dad. I did have a problem with the call me your uncle or call me your daddy, because he was her dad's age, best friend and his dad's college roommate.
Eeeew....I can't deal with the "Daddy" role play. Blech. How do people do this without thinking of their fathers?? I dig the age difference, just not the role play.
2.5 stars I liked both the hero and heroine. I liked the passion they had for one another. I have to admit that i cringed throughout this book. I can deal with the whole call me ''daddy'' but call me ''uncle?!'' NO. At times John seemed distant and acted like nothing was happening between them. Just like the previous books in this series, I hoped for the hero’s point of view. I was disappointed that I didn’t get to hear what he was thinking. This story is a fast paced romance. If your looking for a hot insta love story then this book is for you. This book has some seriously hot scenes. I read this book in one sitting and was left satisfied with the ending. I liked Jo’s parent’s reaction to her relationship it was unexpected.
Josephine has fancied her fathers best friend, John, for years. Whilst away at college, she hopes to bump into John, who is a professor at the school. When her parents inform her that they are going away for Thanksgiving, Jo is invited to John’s cabin for the holidays. After a few hours alone together at John’s home, thinks soon get hot and steamy between them. As they spend the holidays alone together at the cabin, they soon find themselves admitting their feelings. But after agreeing on starting a relationship, how will Jo’s parents react to their relationship?
Umm... I really don't know what to say. I am at a loss for words. All I can really say is that this is an incredibly stupid book. I really hate putting it that way, but it is... it just is. Not only did it fall incredibly flat, and I believe that is exactly the opposite of what should have been intended, but it was highly contrived, emotionless, and shallow. There was no depth to the story. None. I found myself incredibly bored, and reading quickly so it would finally be over. Not many typos -- which was a plus -- but the writing was not good. Often the author wrote how we should feel instead of eliciting it from her readers through her words. Other times the dialogue was just either corny, pointless, or plain weird. I read this on a recommendation from Amazon based on other books I've read... apparently, that was a bad idea. I do not recommend this book.
