Sandra Dane believes she has the perfect job & the perfect boyfriend. She has studied to be an interior designer & is working in NYC as a junior partner in a well known firm. She is dating Bradley Cliffe she believes to be her prince charming. It is Sandra's first real relationship so she isn't sure why their is no sizzle like all her college friends talked about. She believes that Bradley's charming & attentive ways will someday win her over. When she is finally invited to meet his wealthy family at a dinner party given by his Uncle, Sandra learns that there can be more. Sandra awkwardly meets Bradley's Uncle Charles when he walks into a room in his own home he believes to be empty. Charles is shocked to find an almost naked young lady he doesn't know changing clothes in a room that should not be occupied. Once Sandra joins the dinner party she is seated next to Charles for the meal. His aloof manner grates on Sandra & she eventually speaks to him unlike many would dare to. Yet there is an attraction between the two of them that grows over the evening. Charles decides to hire Sandra to do some interior design work in his home on Long Island. When they meet to chat about the work, it becomes heated & they kiss. Sandra leaves feeling very badly that she has cheated on Bradley even though Charles said some things to her that hurt regarding Bradley. The next day she drives to the Long Island house to look over the space to decorated. That night when she calls Bradley she realizes he has been keeping secrets & she can no long see him. The next day, she means to leave to head back to the city but gets caught up in her work. By the time she make plans to leave it is storming outside. Just then Charles arrives at the house unaware that Sandra is still there. He hasn't been able to stop thinking about her. He tells himself to stay away from her. But will he be able to? Will Sandra have the same feelings toward Charles? What happens when they are left alone together?
This was a good older man falls for younger woman story. Our male lead character struggles with his need to control all things around him but finds he may have met his match with our lady lead. She is independent & stronger than she lets on. She is not interested in his wealth or power just in him. It is not what he expects. This book was well written & the characters are well thought out. The book is intended for mature readers. I will be reading more of this series.

This was a good older man falls for younger woman story. Our male lead character struggles with his need to control all things around him but finds he may have met his match with our lady lead. She is independent & stronger than she lets on. She is not interested in his wealth or power just in him. It is not what he expects. This book was well written & the characters are well thought out. The book is intended for mature readers. I will be reading more of this series.

This is the story of Sandra's boss, Arnaud Diablo, and her sister, Kristen Dane. They flit in and out of the first four books as secondary characters, support for Sandra. Here is their own story.
In the whole series, the elegance and richness, the fancy clothes and expensive wines and liquors are all the perfect setting for this extremely powerful man. It's not just his money that makes him powerful. You feel the strength of Charles' personality and the attraction between Sandra and him. As each secondary character plays their part you see them move into his sphere of influence and out. Charles Magister is such a strong character, bigger than life, that even Sandra seems to be secondary to him at times. But definitely, the whole series revolves around these two people and their involvement.
In five books, there wasn't a dull moment. Ms. Hall had things happening constantly that kept this a fast-moving, interesting story. I don't usually like books that have cliffhangers that require you to buy the next book and the next to get the whole story, but this author told you up front that's what was happening. And each book was approximately 350-500 pages long, other than the novella. You definitely got your money's worth. So, if you like big books full of twisty stories and lots of crises and hot, steamy sex, try this series by July Hall.
The first book was a BookBub acquisition from Amazon, but the rest were purchased at full price after reading the synopsis and explanation of the four books. I am receiving no compensation for my honest review. All opinions are fully my own.

Sandra Dane is living her dream life. She is working at a well known interior design firm in New York and dating a man from one of the richest families in New York. She hasn't met anyone in Bradley's family but his mother and she is beginning to think that he is hiding her from his uncle, who is the family patriarch. When she is finally invited to a dinner party at Charles Magister's house, she is both nervous and a little scared. But Sandra doesn't let much scare or knock her down, she is an independent woman and doesn't need anyone to speak or take care of her.
Charles Magister is the CEO of the family business and head of the family. He has taken care of Bradleys' bad decisions that might have landed him in places a family member should not be. When he finds out that his nephew has a girlfriend, he tells Bradley's mother to throw a dinner party so everyone can meet her. But what he didn't expect was Sandra Dane.
They both are drawn to each other, and that has not happened to Charles since his wife died 10 years ago. And for Sandra, she is just as lost in Charles' green eyes. But for Charles, who likes to have control with all things in his life, Sandra will test that because she doesn't like to give up control of her life to anyone.
Will Charles give in to the feelings he is feeling for Sandra? Can Sandra move past Bradley's betrayal and still redecorate the study for Charles? What will happen when Charles and Sandra spend time alone?
This is a first for me from July Hall and I love it and can't wait to find out what happens. This is more than a story about an older man and a younger woman, I found it a little suspenseful too.

I really enjoyed reading this book, at first I was a little aprehensive about the age difference, 20 years seems like a lot, but then i started picturing Charles as an older Henry Cavill and i was on the go for an exciting story.
I was intrigued about the the pull Sandra and Charles had towards each other, how they were imagining been together even if they knew it was something wrong. The depth of the characters personalities unraveled throughout the book, which made me feel like I got to meet a more personal part of them as I kept reading.
I found myself taking my kindle everywhere I just needed to know what happened next!
Hot, exciting and full of drama!

it's a wonderful love story between two very lovable characters: charles, a billionaire widower in his mid forties and Sandra a redhead interior designer.he's 20 years her senior and kind of cold but when they will meet, sparks are going to fly and their chemistry will blow your mind.
I can't wait to read the next books in this series!

Once I had read the blurb regarding this book, hell yessss. I live a good billionaire romance story, so I jumped in, and now I’m finished I cannot wait to start book 2. Why oh why must life get in the way of reading. This was written in both Charles and Sandra ‘s POV but without the obvious markings in chapters I sometimes struggled with the change, but by quarter way through I could see the difference in the characters. So whatever you do, don’t let this little issue stop you from reading.
For designer Sandra Dane getting her 1st job in an affluent company, dating a hot, young heir to the Magister fortune and pulling off a job with a somewhat difficult client, her world is perfect - well it should be. Although she loves her job and boss it is boyfriend Bradley Cliffe , who has her 2nd guessing everything. Although he is nice, his avoidance of meeting his family and the ok sex has her in edge. He has been known as a playboy but always seeing the good side, Sandra constantly gives him more and more. A surprising invitation to a party at Charles Magister place is just what she has been waiting for. Sadly Bradley becomes more and more like his deadbeat father, Robert.
Meeting the Magister family should have been great, but Bradley’s uncle is no push over, as head of the family he makes all the decisions. If he doesn’t like her then she’ll be gone. So this meeting will be huge.... but as always Bradley lets her down again and she is pushed into changing at the Magister residence before the party. Imagine her surprise when while undressed and in nothing more than satin and lace she has an unwelcome visit from a man who literally just barges in like he owns the place. Yep he does – this is the meeting for Charles and Sandra, and well.... nothing will be the same. Humiliated and horrified she dresses and rejoins Bradley and the other guests hoping to avoid the scary and gorgeous Charles Magister.
It seems that it is not only Sandra who is taken by the beauty Mr Magister, Charles himself is left shocked and taken by this stunning woman, whom from that 1st “meeting “ plagues his days and nights. Dreams of a woman that he doesn’t have a right to even think about , especially the x-rated dreams that keep him awake at night. For a man whom lives day in day out remembering his deceased wife, is now coming back to life thanks to his nephews girlfriend. Sound intriguing , scary and wrong, hell no! Bradley is a shit head with zero women skills... Charles on the other hand is all hot alpha billionaire, he is everything Bradley isn’t , and although he knows he must stay away from Miss Dane he cannot do and finds himself hiring her to redesign his Long Island family home.
A one night stay turns into a weekend with so many surprises, dreams and reality I’m choosing not to tell you about. Being in close quarters with sexual chemistry so hot that it could start a fire. But more than one encounter will steam roll into a situation that Charles can’t control. Mr in control is about to find out that not everything you want and crave can stay hidden. I’m feeling a huge explosion heading to Magister Industries, one that Charles, Stephen and Rosalie cannot control.
I’m looking forward to Come And Get Me, book 2 in the Magister series.

I don`t usually write reviews here but for this little gem I just have to. I have read this book five times in the last two weeks, the book hangover is that bad with this one. The story is fascinating, I absolutely adored the writing style, and oh my god the bedroom scenes.... I don`t know what it is but something about the way they were written made me buzz all around and sigh like a moron.
It is not often that I find myself loving the MCs to death like I did with Charles and Sandra. She is everything I love in a female lead: strong, resilient, ambitious, proper on the outside and dirty on the inside, has self respect and her own pride and never steps on it for anyone, wants Charles but doesn`t ultimately need him to survive, to me she is just perfection.
And as for Charles himself...well... Let`s just say out of all the books I`ve ever read in my life if someone asked me to pick one MC out that I could bring to life and keep for myself he would be my choice within a heartbeat. I might be a little bit in love with him.
It is not often that I find myself loving the MCs to death like I did with Charles and Sandra. She is everything I love in a female lead: strong, resilient, ambitious, proper on the outside and dirty on the inside, has self respect and her own pride and never steps on it for anyone, wants Charles but doesn`t ultimately need him to survive, to me she is just perfection.
And as for Charles himself...well... Let`s just say out of all the books I`ve ever read in my life if someone asked me to pick one MC out that I could bring to life and keep for myself he would be my choice within a heartbeat. I might be a little bit in love with him.

Loved, loved, loved this book about a May-December Romance. I especially loved watching two of the main characters change throughout the story. Can a man in his 40's completely change his thinking about love? You betcha he can. And I want to continue the story through the different books. I can highly recommend If You Want Me.

I adore stories like these, but I'll admit, when I realized that there was a 20 year age difference between the main characters, I was a bit apprehensive. I LOVE age differences, but this one was a lot larger than the normal age gaps I'm used to. But I loved this book!
I love the characters. I loved the overall plot. And you know what? That old saying: age is just a number, was proven in this book. Charles Magister is one of the hottest and sexiest characters I have ever read about. His age didn't matter because he carried himself so well and was charming! His character, even at the beginning, was likable and interesting. He's wise, witty, and at times very funny.
As you can see, I love and adore his character. And the heroine, Sandra? She's amazing as well. She wasn't a doormat, like some female characters are portrayed, and she's wise beyond her years. She's classy, smart, amusing, and she's the perfect match for Charles (Although, I'd totally fight her for him! Haha)
The book overall was entertaining and engaging. I couldn't put the book down and read for hours and hours. I was tired when I got to work, since I stayed up so late, but this is one of those books that make being a little tired worth it. I don't want to go into details about what happened in the story, since the blurb tells you all you need to know, but I will stay that this book will hook you from the first page.
Prepare to be charmed by a Magister. The hot and charming one, not his prick of a nephew.

This is a series, following the same couple. It held my interest, in fact, I couldn't put it down, and I want to read more. It's a "throw back romance"--older, billionaire guy, naive, inexperienced young woman, and they can't get enough of each other. It worked, though.

I was given the first two installments (when 12 were anticipated) prior to this book being condensed into 4 parts - am so glad the author was receptive to feedback doing so. As I perceived in the initial go around, this book was well written and the older rich flawed man story line is not one I have seen too often. There was great character chemistry, steaminess, and it was very easy get caught up in this forbidden love affair. This new book previews a bit more and teases at the end what is in store for book 2 - up til then I was questioning how much plot/content remained to fill an additional 3 full-length books. I still have some skepticism about there being enough depth for the long haul, but it's too soon to tell. I rate this a four star read with a potential to become 5 pending how the plot develops. Look forward to diving into book 2!

What's better than excellent?
This was a great read, modern, richly described, easy to submerge yourself into the story. It is so much more than the story of the billionaire and the 25 year-old. July Hall builds the story with layers of emotions, the betrayal by Bradley--Sandra's fiance and Charles' nephew, Sandra and Charles' recognition of the possibility of their love and future happiness, as well as all the fallout from publicly admitting their love. The reader can be confounded by how far-reaching the ripples of this love can spread through the business and society worlds they are a part of. Which possible path will they take? The route to that decision provides lots of delicious reading. I loved both characters-July Hall does make you feel like you are there making choices along with the couple, so expect to feel the highs and lows as if it's your life before your eyes! I loved this story full of strength, weakness, unlikely -- and what would be considered scandalous -- attraction, and heartache.
Sandra Dane is a 25 year old, up-and-coming Interior Designer for a respectable firm in Manhattan and is dating Bradley Cliffe, a member of one of the wealthiest families in the City -- the Magisters. Sandra has only met his mother, Rosalie, but after 6 months of dating, she is finally meeting the rest of his family, including his uncle Charles Magister, who runs the Magister empire and everyone else.
What happens at that dinner party and the events that follow, change everyone's lives, and not all for the better.
I read this book in one day. I loved the fox and hound chase (you'll get the reference when you read the book) and the undeniable electric attraction between Sandra and Charles, not to mention the steamy sex scenes. I cannot wait to read the rest of this series.

I absolutely loved this book! It's the first book I've read by July Hall, but it will not be the last. Charles and Sandra meet at one of his dinner parties. She is dating his nephew Bradley Cliffe. The chemistry between them is sizzling, but they keep their thoughts to theirselves. I love reading about them finally giving in to their passion for each other, after Bradley and her break up. This book isn't just bedroom, sexy times. We also learn about their careers and their families. I highly recommend this book and I'm looking forward to reading the next book about Charles and Sandra. Are they going to continue seeing each other? Will they get caught?

Sandra meets the REAL Prince Charming while dating his douche bag of a nephew. Thankfully, things progressed in the direction I wanted them to. I love the Mr. Magister that Sandra brings out. He had almost been dead for the past decade after the death of his wife. I found myself cheering for this couple loudly. I didn't like Bradley and found his father to be a piece of work as well. I don't trust those two as far as I can spit. The true Bradley is revealed accidentally and Sandra is very perceptive to catch him in his web of lies. I can't wait to read the next book!

This is the first book I've read by Judy Hall and I liked it. Interesting story. I so liked the characters Charles and Sandra. There were two things I didn't much like. One, is she would write a dream scene and it made us think it was really happening and it was just a dream, somewhat confusing. The second, though this book was not really a cliffhanger it ends leaving you wanting to know how things progress. You may be able to stop with this book but I'm curious to see what happens next.

Interesting novel. Charles and Sandra have an undeniable attraction to each other with a few reasons to hold back. Not only is she in a relationship with Charles' obnoxious nephew, she is 20 years his junior, her career could be endangered if she proceeds with this relationship, and he is known to be a rather difficult man to deal with. I enjoyed reading about this multifaceted man who literally falls in love at first sight. With so much in the way, does one go with one's heart or what polite society would deem appropriate?

I absolutely loved this book! It's the first book I've read by July Hall, but it will not be the last. This was one of those books that when I started reading I knew I was not going to be able to put it down.The relationship between Charles and Sandra has all kinds of steam. I enjoyed the way the author had both characters POV that flowed almost flawlessly. I can't wait to see what this authors has for us next. I Highly Recommend the book. this is the first book by this author that ive read and it was definitely not a disappointment at all. This story has a unique twist on the forbidden love story. This is a very well written book which will keep you reading till the end. I just couldn't put it down till id finished it. This book has fantastic characters which help to keep you reading. I cant wait to read more from this author in the future.

What a great book
I just finished if you want me.,and all I can say is it's a great book. I don't know if the author is new,but she gave me what I was looking for.Charles and Sandra fell in love and it didn't seem to matter about the age or money difference they are in love say they will find away to be together .Well you know how that goes,here comes trouble.July Hall you have me on the edge of my seat and I can't wait to start book#2.
