1st read by this author. Hazel really experienced a lot of devastating events in her young life. Promise was good to her although he had his moments. I was surprised at Tracey's turnout. Storyline detailed with interesting content

Oh Wow!
So basically if you ever read "50 Shades of Gray" and loved it...u will without a doubt fall hard for this one its literally the "savage" version of "50 shades" I loved every moment of it. Thrilling, poetic, relateable. Definately a page turner although i had to put it down a few times because I wasnt sure if i was ready for the next page lol. I hope poor Hazel can find peace, happiness, and love in the nxt installment!

Good/Boring
Have you ever heard of a good/boring story? That is what this was. It was boring af, but good enough for me to continue to read. There was really no story line to me. For it to be in 1st person it had more descriptions then a lil bit. The Author never told us why Tracy all of a sudden turnt on her best friend. How did Promise find out about Hazel Attackers. Who burned down Madear house. Im going continue the series to see if I get some answers.

Really good read, only problem really, was Hazel was too weak and going along with any and everything took away from the read. Then the way Promise was making dumb moves like the street thing after getting caught and for him to get caught up like that in the end. Then again, even for how things went with Hazel and his grandmother, for him to do what he did in ATL he should’ve been on point with them as well. Other than those few I enjoyed this one.

Wow
Poor Hazel. You just want her to be happy that’s all. This book had everything love hurt betrayal drama drugs killing. The way the characters flowed and were intertwined was everything. My heart broke for Promise and Hazel but the love they have for each other is everything. Can’t wait to read part two.

Interesting
Promise just seems like too much and Hazel sounds like the typical naive teenager from Augusta. I enjoyed reading a book that was set in an area familiar to me. The storyline was awesome, but I do feel as if the author could use more practice. I’m eager to see if Promise will beat his case.

Yes!
This is one of the best books I've read this year!
Promise is bae! Now I'm not saying that everything he did was fine and dandy but he has Hazel 's best interest at heart. To be lost in a world and can't trust anyone....there is always a Promise. Waiting on part 2.

I FEEL THAT ZOYA HAD THE PERFECT CHARACTERS HAZEL AN PROMISE. THE STORY LINE FOR THEM WAS LIKE A FAIRYTALE SWEET AT ONE TIME THEN IT ALL GOES SOUR. I WOULD MOST DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THE FIRE READ TO ANYONE I KNOW THAT LOVE TO READ. KEEP DOING YOUR THING ZOYA

I liked Promise's character. Hazel was young and needed to be a little stronger when it comes to Promise. She still had some maturing to do also. I didn't like Tracey from the beginning. They didn't have to do Grandma like that either. I can't wait to see what happens next in part 2.

I'm speechless!!
Have you ever read a book that pulled you so far that you felt like you was there watching everything play out? That's how I felt reading this book, it sucked me right in. When promise spoke I felt every word. Hazel just can't catch a break, I hope she does in part 2.

Those eyes.....
Wow this was a helluva, helluva book! Excellent! Well written! Loved the intense connection between Promise and Hazel. I hope what they have does not become toxic. I hope the love that they have will always be passionate, real, intense and healthy. When Promise took that "magic wand" out one too many times, I was very disappointed and found what he did to the object of his "magic wand" quite disturbing and even more so because Hazel was ok with it. Promise is definitely a savage and even though he did what he did, I hope there will be a light at the end of the tunnel for him. Anyway, great read! Great job, Zoya! I can't wait to read part 2.

Promise is Bae!
This book was great. I love how Promise loves Hazel. I kind of figured Tracey was a snake. She was jealous of her the whole time, especially when Hazel and Promise got together. I kind of had a feeling her Brother was up to something when he didn't want her to go to Atlanta. Block didn't surprise me, I kind of figured he was a snake as well. This book had me from the beginning till the end. Anxious for part 2.

I love this book it was amazing I love what promise and hazel shared even though she went through a lot he did what ever he could to make her happy. I hate that he had to find out who did the things to her and that his grandmother died in the same day and on her baby shower I hate to see that the next day he is being hauled away y the feds I cant wait for part two and I hope the love that the two share will over power it all and they can still be together

Okay where do I begin first off promise was definitely a savage and I liked him for her more so than Riley . This book will take you through so many different emotions concerning your parents will have you questioning your brother I mean even your best friend I mean it was just so many different emotions. I don't want to give too much out but you must read this but this is a very good but I can't wait to the next.
