Book one was good, but this second in the series blows it away. I was sucked in and couldn't put my kindle down. I had to know what was going to happen next. Poor Viv dealing with Jack. I am sure most of us can relate to dealing with someone at work that has you ready to box something up.

I thought the first book was just OK. Then I got this one because it was free...now I'm hooked. I just have to know what happens next. I really liked this one.

This book is a fun quick read and I enjoyed it as much as I did the first book in this series. I read this in one sitting not want to but my kindle down. Vivienne's life has chanced some since the first book and some is for the better and some you could say is for the worse. But through it all you still have the funny, independent and shall we say a tad quirky character of Vivienne that we came to know and love from the first book. I found myself laughing at parts of this and wanting to give Vivienne a pat on the back for want she is having to put up with. I did catch myself laughing at my kindle and the yelling and stomping my foot when I got to the end. Cliffhanger...I can't wait for the next book to see what happens to Vivienne and the other characters. I Highly Recommend this book. Karen Gordon please get back to the computer, I'm waiting. ;)

4.5 Stars!
HiJack by Karen Gordon is an exciting novella. This book and series are about the life and times of Vivienne Ramsey, a super-organized and independent young woman. Vivienne's a skillful executive assistant and as a result, she has recently been promoted to the executive suite. She now works for the CEO's very immature and inexperienced son Jack. Jack is being groomed to takeover JetStream Aerospace, and it is Vivienne's job to keep him in line and share her business expertise. Since Jack's only desire is to party and have fun, Vivienne spends all of her time covering his butt and running his errands. Her days are very long and she is exhausted. Babysitting a resentful Jack, while dodging his father is a difficult job, yet Vivienne does it with an incredible finesse and cleverness. She yearns to one day find her special someone.
This is the second installment in Ms. Gordon's The Vivienne Series. The third novella was published a few weeks ago and I can't wait to read it. This is a well-written story and Vivienne's beauty and brains are truly engrossing.
Complimentary copy provided.

Well, Viv is off and running with a new boss and a new challenge. Well written with a fun and witty look at a 20 something trying to find her niche in life and love. The characters are being more developed in each new chapter. They are interesting and add to the story. Her best friend, Dom and Dom’s family are there for her but changes are coming for them all. So buckle in and go for the ride. I am looking forward to seeing how Viv will grow and meet her new challenges. RECOMMENDED

This is another fun, quick read by Karen Gordon. I loved the first book but this book blew the first book away. We see growth with Vivian and the struggles that she has with her new position in the company. There were times that I laughed, I screamed and stomped my feet because one of the character's just made me so angry. Can't wait to read the next book and see what happens.

Still can't put it down.
Vivienne is super smart and an expert at organization. Between her new job and planning for her BFF's wedding, she doesn't have much time for anything else. The new boss is the spoiled son of the CEO. Vivienne has her hands full trying to keep Jack on point. Very entertaining. I usually don't like cliffhangers, but now can't wait to read the next book....Pam James.

This is the second book in the story and Danny is gone to Saudi Arabia for 3 years. He tells Vivienne not to wait. She gets a new job within her company as a personal secretary to the CEO of the company's son, Jack. He is poised to take over the company after his father, Joel. Only, Jack is not CEO material at all. He shows up late when he shows up at all, hungover and unprepared. He is spoiled and immature and uses everyone. He also hates his dad. Vivienne does not enjoy working for him, but knows if she says anything she could lose her job and she keeps getting bonuses which give her incentive to stay. Jack doesn't seem to be a love interest at this point, but who knows what the next installment will bring. I can't wait.

Karen Gordon does it again! "HiJack" kept me turning pages until the wee hours! Vivienne Ramsey continues to show us her professional side as well as her sense of humor in this sequel to "Fearless Flying". She is perplexed when she gets a phone call from the CEO of Jetstream Aerospace wanting to see her in his office. What could he possibly want with her? He wants to make her an offer she can't refuse with a huge raise and benefits. She will be working with his son. So, what's the catch? Just wait and see. Vivienne handles it all with style and grace and lots of humor! I highly recommend this book and the novella series!

This is the second book in the continuing Vivienne Series where Vivienne may have met her match. She moves up into the executive suites where the money is bigger but so are the challenges. Company CEO, Joel Rockhurst, has his eye on her and she's going to have to be extra resourceful and clever to play in his league.
I'm so proud of my character, Vivienne. She's super smart, sexual and completely unapologetic for both. She craves stability and continuity but in this book her life is anything but. If you read Fearless Flying, the first book in the series, you know that Vivienne does NOT give up easily. She is determined that she will own her new position and not let it throw her life into chaos. And just like Fearless Flying this book will have you laughing and cheering for the boss-babe heroine.

Karen does it again with her second novel in Viv's series. I was captivated from beginning to end and now I can't wait for the next addition to this amazing tale.

I'm so into this whole novella series thing the author is doing. They are such quick reads, with no obligation to a long novel, but still getting just as great of a story from it.
The first book hooked me pretty easily, and I liked this one even better. I really like Vivienne, she independent and strong. But I know romance has to be hiding just around the corner, and she deserves it.
I can't wait to see what happens with Jack! Things are bound to get interesting after what happened at the end of this book! Definitely anticipating book 3!
*ARC generously provided in exchange for an HONEST review. And honestly, I freaking love this series so far!*

Vivienne comes back with a bang. When our favorite OCD secretary is promoted her world is torn apart. She's accustom to being in charge, managing and pulling strings behind the curtain with a knowledgeable boss who appreciates her and knows what a valuable resource she is. Her new boss, Jack, is nothing but a spoiled frat boy with no desire to grow up or take charge. Unfortunately, Jack's father is the CEO and failure isn't an option for any of them. Especially Viv, her career is on the line. I can't wait to read book #3 and find out how Viv takes on Jack and whips him into shape. And, if we ever see Danny again.

Vivienne is the same strong and resilient character that I couldn't help but like from Fearless Flying. However the addition of Jack in Vivienne's life has upset her structured and ordered life. It was great to see her out of her comfort zone. Jack is a great character even though there were plenty of times when I was annoyed with him on Vivienne's behalf!
I really enjoyed this fast moving short story and before I knew it I had reached the end of the book. The ending sets up the next book in the series brilliantly. I can't wait to find out what Vivienne will do next and how she will move forward in gaining some control.
A fun story with an engaging character!
Five stars from me!
Thank you to Karen Gordon for my copy. This is my honest and unbiased opinion.

Book 2 picks up with Vivienne meeting with the CEO of Jetstream, Joel Rockhurst, where he offers her a new position on the executive floor working for his son, Jack, who just finished at Duke. Vivienne has never met Jack and doesn't fully realize at first what a complete train wreck he is, despite the fact that he's super hot. She finds out pretty quickly, however, that Jack has zero interest in succeeding in the business and ends up covering for him and doing all of his work, along with hers. But that's Vivienne -- take control and do whatever it takes. She tries not to let things spiral out of control, but Jack's being sued, her best friend is getting married, and Jack is just a screw up in general. With her control and determination, she does all she can to make Jack look like a success, because failure is not an option for Vivienne Ramsey! Vivienne's dialogue back and forth with Jack is comical, and the book ends with Jack showing up on her doorstep, drunk and coming on to her. After she tells him off and throws him out, she knows she has more work to do than ever. Challenge accepted!
