Did you know the scriptures contain over 4,000 questions? Questions are more thought-provoking than mere dissertation. Most of the questions considered in this book were asked by the Lord, challenging our response - but some of them were addressed to Him, inviting His response to us. In Reaching Higher, Stephen Cramer offers 25 scriptural questions to help us contemplate our standing before the Lord and determine the small steps we can take to grow closer to Him as we strive to achieve happiness, self-acceptance, and fellowship with God. As we accept each challenge to reach higher and receive the blessings that come from doing so, we will lay the foundation for a happier, more fulfilling life.
Steven A Cramer (Gerald Curtis) is my father. I thought I'd share that he passed away this weekend. If anyone has a memory they'd like to share with his family, you can do that on his online memorial which is https://www.weremember.com/gerald-h-c.... Thank you!
We have to stop praying for a cure of our symptoms and start praying to rise above our sinfulness and sinful nature. The Savior does not offer us relief, but conquest and transformation. True guilt for our sins will always pull us back towards repentance and a renewed relationship with Christ
I loved this book. I took my time with it and used it as part of my scripture study. I would recommend this book to anyone. It is full of wonderful scriptural insights that are applicable to every day life. Reading this books really helps to put life and gospel principles into perspective.
